Awesome video. Loved learning about this plant. Even though I am aware that Uncarina exists, I have never seen anyone show it or talk about it. Logee's used to sell them. Now I want one.
Love your videos. Thanks for sharing.

Estou muito feliz. Agora com tuas informações sei que estou no caminho certo e, principalmente, perdi o medo de maneja-la, como realizar o transplante frequentemente. Obrigada, obrigada. 🙏🫶🏻🇧🇷

I have no problems getting mine to set seeds, after I pollinate with two different plants. seeds grow quick and bloom the second year for most.

My experience with this plant is that their fuzzy leaves tend to prone to spider mide and thrips :( although the plant seem to be strong enough not so bothered. I also find flowers tend to fall quickly after bloom. Mine was neglected and kept wet in my greenhouse during winter which resulted in loosing most smaller roots from rot. Im glad to save it from root rot this spring, as the main caudex is still firm, new leaves are sprouting and I’m hoping roots are following too

Thank you for watching. I haven't had experience with spider mites on this plant before. But I have to let you know that the method of watering this plant is to just water it whenever it's dry. The soil should be dry between each watering and make sure to put it in a semi-sunny area (or perhaps even in a shady area they'll do better depending on your climate). Also, make sure in the winter time to be very cautious about exposure to cold weather. Good luck with your plant!

Great video ( as always )!
Can you, please, show other plants from your collection with FUZZY FURRY leaves? Or fragrant?
Succulents have not only great shape or color, texture too.

Thank you (as always)! I will definitely make a couple of videos especially for you to see other varieties that have fuzzy leaves. I have one succulent in particular which is a member of Euphorbia flanaganii that has a beautiful apricot scented flower. A majority of the flowers have turned into seedpods but I will make a video for you to enjoy! Thank you for the request and please stay tuned :D

Hello there and welcome to my channel! Thank you so much for watching and for your very kind comment. You should never prune this plant. Uncarina is somehow very sensitive and it doesn't like to be pruned. However, if any of the branches dry out from the top of the branch to the bottom, you should only cut the area that is dry. Do not cut the green live part of the branch because it will hurt the plant. Also, the second thing to take into consideration: you should repot the plant only during the summertime. Lastly, if the area that you are in has an average temperature of 75 degrees F or higher during the summer, the best soil mixture is 60% peat moss and 40% perlite with one tablespoon of certain fertilizer known as "slow release" or "time release" (1 tablespoon per 5 gallons of soil). Remember that Uncarina is not only rare but also a forgotten plant. But, recently, in the past few years, it is becoming more and more recognize. I am an Uncarina lover and I also grow them from seeds but the seeds of these plants are very hard to find. However, please take care of this plant and if you have any other questions, I'm happy to answer. In order to coach this plant sufficiently, please feel free to email me a picture of your plant at cactusandsucculentexchange@gmail.com. I always enjoy seeing this plant from all around the world! Thank you for watching and please take care!
