Good morning guys would it be interesting if we had a tamagotchi connection remake? All of the Tama fans are emailing Bandai America to get these rereleased or even remade with aspects of the on like a back lit screen. The connections are a whole lot of fun and they even allow your tama to go to pre school, school gets a job and evolves based upon care and their attributes! It would be also cool if somehow they brought back tama town but an app version of course free but, micro payments can be in the game for certain characters or energy points for your tama to play in tama town. Bandai have been paying attention to our emails, and they have been very responsive. If we all email them and let them know maybe we can get a rerelease or even better a revamped version.
I just found your channel and you've been wonderfully helpful with your Pix videos; I've never had a Tamagotchi and since the Pix is the newest I'm trying to do research on it. I believe a number of people hated it initially but from what I've seen it's a really great device! I'll have to get a Party as soon as I can... I had no idea these things SKYROCKET in price once the newest ones come out! I wanted an On and I can't find one for less than $100 used

I just got a purple pix on prime day for half off! I definitely want a party though, especially that teal/pink. I’ll be waiting for it to go on sale I think though, and I would get a smart first.
Definitely wait for a holiday sale. Amazon should have the Pix Party on sale closer to Christmas. And yes I agree if you have a Pix now you should get the Smart next. The party is fun but it's just a bit upgraded from the original Pix. The Smart is very different!
I got this version of the pix too! 🥰 I’m not sure which I like better, my sanrio smart or the pix party. They both have aspects that I enjoy, but I was surprised at how different they were! Ultimately, I’m happy I got them both! 💖

@@JillGrygas yes! it’s impossible to find the Pix Party manual online (not og Pix manual, i found that one!) - i actually found a picture of the front of the printed Party manual to scan the qr code on it, but it actually just leads to a dead link now i believe xD
Just got the pix party, and I'm having to send it back sadly. The buttons when you swipe over them are nearly un-responsive over half the time, and it makes it almost impossible to play most of the minigames! Sad because I was so excited for it. :(
I'm sorry you'll be returning it! The touch buttons take a bit to get used to, but I did notice that I was having issues with some of the games too. I might need to put batteries in mine again to see if I'm still having that issue..
The OG Pix is the first new device I've had since the 90s. I didn't really know it's apparently typical for new versions of the same device to not change that much (according to my Discord chats). I was hoping the Pix Party would've had more features, items, and accessories to freshen up the experience. At the bare minimum I expected a bunch of new characters to raise. With only 2 new characters, I decided I would unfortunately get no enjoyment out of the Pix Party. If I hadn't got a Pix I probably would've gone for a Pix Party simply because I hear the buttons and battery life are a bit better. Although Weeptchi is my newfound love and he is missing from the Pix Party roster lol. Was Bandai NA just expecting for kids to blindly ask their parents for another of the same device? Were they betting on collectors buying anything they put out? Or is this version for people who don't own a device but heard about the Pix and maybe were thinking about it...and perhaps the idea of "the new version" would get them to finally jump aboard? I don't really get the audience for a device that is basically the same. I'm starting to think I might not get a new Tamagotchi fix soon without buying a Tamagotchi Smart. The language barrier is not really something I want to deal with though, as much as I hear its not a big hurdle using online guides. I just don't want to put in that much effort for a casual play experience. I get that Tamagotchi wants to be a small handheld toy brand but I really think Bandai NA should go in on a device that could be updated/connect over the internet. The mobile app game does not have ANY of the enjoyable aspects of Tamagotchi for me. I would be willing to spend microtransactions for new items/characters etc. sort of how the SmaCards work...although the data not staying on the device without the SmaCard is rather disappointing.
I agree with your assessment of the Pix Party. It's really fun and enjoyable, but no need to get it if you already have one. The refresh of the Tamagotchi On had a lot more added items and features that the original On did not have. I was expecting that here but we didn't get a ton of new things other than the party feature. It's fun, but you aren't missing much since you have a Pix. As for the Tamagotchi Smart, I really do think it's worth it. Once you let go of the fact that you can't read it that's when it becomes really fun. There are a lot of guides online and I made a video to help navigate the menus. I love the "pay to get extra stuff" model, but do agree with you that it stinks that you can only load one card at a time. I wonder if they will come out with an updated App that is more like the original game. I played the App version of Tamagotchi a few years ago and it's fun but just not the same.
Great question. I won't be able to answer this one for you, but I can give some recommendations on how you can figure out which one you want. Take a look online at the characters available. The Pix Party has a few different characters you can raise. Also it has a "party" mode that gives more games. I think the Pix Party has more to offer, so if you only have money for one you'll get more out of the Pix Party. However I did get a Blue Pix that I have left in the box for my collection and I think the blue and green shells are the best looking of all the Pix.
I don't recommend one over the other. It's a personal choice which one you are more interested in. The Smart is fun because you can purchase different cards to get more characters, but it can get expensive. The Pix Party is great because you really get to feel a connection with your Tamagotchi as you raise it and train it in a profession. I personally like owning both, so if that's an option you should do that 😀
Most definitely. I don't usually have such a definitive answer because which Tamagotchi to get is a very personal decision, but here the Party is an upgraded Pix. There is no reason to get the old one if you don't have either :)
Hi! I know I’m late, but my tamagotchi doesn’t let me press the hunger button, the play button, the health button, or the bath button :( is there a way I can fix that without restarting it?
Hi Alejandra! I haven't run into this issue before. Is your tamagotchi sick? It will have a little black skull on the right side of it. If so, the only thing you can do is give it medicine.

Great question. I think the answer is no, but only if you make your Tamagotchi best friends with you. I haven't been able to do this yet, but I hear if your friendship is at the highest level then the Tamagotchi will not ask to go home. If you don't hit this level then it either goes home or it dies :( because once it asks to make an album you cannot take care of it anymore.

I invested in rechargeable batteries and a rechargeable battery charger. Depending on how much you want to play it might be worth it to avoid buying so many batteries.
Got mines as well not too long ago and I’m very much enjoying it along with the pix!!!! Currently got a girl tama on the party and a boy on the pix!!!! 😁💜🤍 Also they did announce a Hatsune miku tamagotchi nano and already got that pre-ordered!!!

Yesterday the tamagotchi pix party was 200 on Amazon and today it’s at 400 which is so crazy but you can buy a used one for 40 dollars

No you cannot marry on the Pix. Your tamagotchi will go home after 7-8 days with you.
