Yay! I've been waiting for this video. Mine came a couple of days ago, and I'm waiting to start until I decide if it's gonna be my third Tama I'm running, or if I want to wait to get another Smart and use that one with a separate card. But this video was super informative and I think helped me make up my mind a little bit.

@@laurelymedina89 Hi Laurely! So far it only comes out in Japanese, and the English Tamagotchi of the moment is the Pix. I do hope it comes out in English someday but we have yet to hear an announcement.

Mines is too. Seems like a smaller budget was used to make this tamagotchi. Hopefully in the future there will be a better version.

I have a question-if I don’t load the Sanrio card and keep playing as is, am I basically playing the original mint blue and coral versions that came out first?
Hi Dee! That is correct, if you do not load in the card then you are playing the same game that came out on the original coral and mint colors. Even if you do load the card you can still raise all the original characters and get all the original items/accessories/rooms/watch faces.
Hi! I’ve been thinking about getting the Tamagotchi smart for a while now but I’m afraid the thought of them releasing an english version shortly after. Do you think there’s a chance that an english version of the smart will be release or should i bite the bullet and buy one? Thanks!! Your channel is amazing!!
Hi Matthew! I don't think there is much of a chance for an English version to release any time before next summer (2023). For the last few years all the new Tamagotchi releases in English have happened in July/August timeframe. Pix has been released in late June last year and this year. If Bandai does decide to make it in English I think the earliest we would see it is next year as they are still heavily promoting the Pix now. Of course anything could happen and Bandai could surprise us, but I'm looking back at all the releases in the last few years and none of them have been anytime outside of the June-August timeframe.

What do you think is the best tama? I’m thinking of buying one. I really liked the ON but unfortunately they are really pricey right now, and I’ve been watching videos about the pix and I couldn’t really decide which one is the best so what do you think??? The ON,pix,smart,party?
That is a great question! It's hard for me to say what the best one is because I love them all so much. It depends on what type of gameplay you like best. If you want to buy a single device and be able to upgrade it with cards, then the Tamagotchi Smart is the way to go. The Pix is a lot of fun but it does have limited gameplay. You can get extra items from the internet though that helps to expand the gameplay a bit. If you decide on the Pix then you might want to wait for the Pix party, which will be out in a few days in the US! Let me know what you end up deciding!

Do you know the gameplay of the pix party is it all about parties or it has another series of games to play because I read about it and I’m not sure which one Will be more fun to play
@@mayarr4364 The Pix Party has a new gameplay feature where your Tamagotchi can host parties! I'm not sure if all the games are party themed or not. The original Pix had rotating games depending on what day it is. Each theme had two games. There was sports, nature, and one other I'm not remembering at the moment. It was fun!

I was wondering if the watch fits? I'm a bit worried it might not fit my wrist
That's a great question. I think they might be made for children, so depending on the size of your wrist it might not fit or fit very tight. I can get it on but it's on the loosest it can be.
Hey after watching this my mother let me buy a tamagotchi smart for my birthday we just bought it today do you happen to have an estimate of how long it took to get delivered to you so I can know what to expect BTW I love your videos
Thank you!! I'm excited that your mom let you get one for your birthday (happy birthday!). Where did you buy it from? I feel like it took a couple of days to get to my house, and because I wasn't home I e-signed on DHL to ensure they would leave it at my door without my signature. If you purchased from a website that uses DHL for shipping your mom should get a text message a day or so before it delivers :)
Where do you find them?! I have been wanting to add one of these to my collection for a while.
I got mine on Amazon Japan, but there are other websites that offer them as well like Japan You Want.

My Tamasmart Sanrio arrived for me yesterday! But since then I've noticed something I can't let go...
Has anyone noticed a kind of "ghosting" when switching menus? It's fast and very discreet, but there is, is this normal? For those who have Kindle, it's almost like that. :(

im thinking into buying one, but im thinking if the sanrio version is better than the niziu? im concerned about the white color turning yellow:(
Pick one based on the characters you would like to raise. Unfortunately for the Smart devices the sides get dirty where the connection covers are. Doesn't matter which color you have, they all start to look bad after playing for a bit :(

No to my knowledge you cannot travel to different lands like you can in the Meets/On.

could you help me? I recently bought a Sanrio smart, but it came with the regular watch not the sanrio one, I installed the card and everything but the sanrio items or anything doesn't work
Hi! The Sanrio Smart programming is that of the original smart watch. You have to load the Sanrio card and then to get the items you have to get them from the shopping app. Let me know if this helps or if you are still having issues!
@@JillGrygas my shopping app appears as blocked, i installed the card, but the clock didn't even chance
@@brunapaluganmachado7330 If you scroll on the clock face the new Sanrio faces should be there. Just swipe left on the screen. Also the shop doesn't work if your Tamagotchi is still a baby. Did it evolve?

Right now the Tamagotchi Smart is only in Japanese. I have a guide on my channel on how to navigate the menus. You can still enjoy it even though it's in Japanese :)
It u r putting a new card on ur tama do u have to delete the one that’s already on there?
Hi Cherish! When you load a new card it will replace the previous card you had loaded. You can still see things like the icons you earned, but your items will be gone and you won't be able to buy things from the old card any more. It's too bad we can't load more than one card at a time.

You can buy it online anywhere that sells things from Japan. I like Amazon Japan, which lets you shop in English, or Japan You Want.

Yes, depending on what type of gameplay you enjoy. I had a lot of fun with this version of the Smart.

Can you change the language?
You are not able to change the language on the Smart device. There are guides online and I created a video to help navigate the menus though so it isn't difficult to use.
