Great video thankyou for showing this version. The animations are super cute on this one. I really struggled with the 1st version especially with the swipe bar. Then I got overwhelmed when I had loads of pets on the go. Thankyou again for showing, was really nice seeing all the cute characters ❤❤❤

Will these come to Walmart or Target?

I like the shell but wished they added new stuff to the device. Like new virtual animals or at least not the same characters all the times. Also maybe add an off and on button.

I got tarakotchi only so far as my adult and I love him!! Just recently picked up my connection so I haven’t gotten to a gen 2 yet

While I think it's cute and fun. The fact you don't really take care of it does make gameplay kind of boring after a while. Cause with my gen 1 tamagochi, I see how long I can keep it alive and if it dies, try again. So it's kind of endless. That's why I kind of got tired of my Hello Kitty nano, cause after a while the Tama will leave and you start over. So it loses some of the flavor after.

I used a new "sunbeam" battery from the dollar store and it lasted NOT EVEN A WEEK!!! I'll be sticking with energizer or Duracell in the future

So cute!! I don’t know what the name of the character is but I’ve seen people on the Tama Collectors Facebook Group post images of a Tama that looks like a Heartless from Kingdom Hearts. I really want to see if I could ever raise that on my Connection!

So, maybe a bit unrelated, but I don't have a Tamagotchi per se, I have one of the Digimon ones from Digimon Data Squad, I have never changed the demo battery, and it still works, about 15+ years later. When I was a kid, I was very careful with my stuff, so when I received that Digivice pet, I noticed it had a little plastic strip coming from the back (the thing that keeps the battery disconnected until someone buys it). When I noticed that the Digivice pet didn't have an off button, I thought that's what the little plastic strip was for, so I'd put it back into it whenever I didn't use it. I didn't know we had to throw it away, so because of this, I might have the oldest living digital pet in the world.

My demo battery lasted a few weeks. Shortest battery span from a tamagotchi I've ever had. Not expecting current battery to last much longer.

I highly recommend Duracell batteries!! Last me months for sure

I got about a month on my Energizer battery. I now have a Duracell in there. Also not battery related but I really need an omelette to get my current teen to Mametchi but I can never find an omelette. Unless I’m reading the wiki wrong. I know Omelette is favourite food of my teen, I want to keep it happy so I can get Mametchi. Wish there was a code for all the food, my store stock really never changes all that much throughout the day and from day to day.

Mine died in 3 weeks with the OG battery and after 3 days with a cheaper battery... I hope it lasts longer after the latest battery I bought 💀

mine died about 3 days ago (i got it july 10th) so it lasted a little more than a month! not optimal but it lasted

Only one of mine died it died 9 days after I started it all the others that the Tamagotchi Connections came with are still working
