      We sometimes see healing and improvements in pain and function still happening 6-12 months after stem cell injections. But sometimes, one injection is not enough, or the correct targets are not treated, this can provide inadequate results. You need to combine stem cells with therapy, right diet and other modalities for best results. integrativerehabmedicine.com/naples-fort-myers-fl-knee-pain-treatment

    My two knees are bone on bone for many years and my lower spine I was told I would not thank them for the surgery as it would leave me in a lot more pain . I’m now not able to walk more then a few steps with my rollator my pain leaves me house bound and as I live alone . The only thing I have is my tv and my phone there’s many a day I cannot get out of bed . I don’t want to end up in a nursing home I would rather die lonely which is what I fear . • @sebastianklisiewiczintegra9805
      @sebastianklisiewiczintegra9805  Рік тому +1

      This is not "the Regenexx" method, but there are some similarities. The prolotherapy (only takes 40 mins) is done 3-5 days prior to the bone marrow stem cell procedure to prepare the joint. The PRP is done on the same day as the bone marrow injection. You are in clinic for ~ 3-4 hours on the day of the bone marrow stem cel procedure. Many patients can benefit from Bone marrow stem cell injections for knee arthritis. Patients in the 60s and 70s can still get a meaningful response. ~ 80% of patients with severe osteoarthritis get 3-5 years of pain and function improvement, it is not a cure, but a very effective non-surgical treatment of knee arthritis, it takes ~ 4-8 weeks to get the benefits after the injection, but the knee can keep on getting better for ~ 6-8 months after the injection: integrativerehabmedicine.com/treatments-bone-marrow-stem-cells

      If you want to use autologous stem cells, adipose stem cells can be used. Recent reports have shown the use of umbilical cord-derived stem cells (allogenic stem cells) also shows promising results in treating knee arthritis.

      Bone marrow stem cells are an effective treatment of knee joint pain (from arthritis or meniscus injury) or any other joint. It is helpful to have strong muscles around the joints, but the arthritis can inhibit the muscles from developing well, thus treating the arthritis can decrease this inhibition (called arthrogenic inhibition). Bone marrow stem cell injections are very good treatment option for arthritis and tendon tears (such as rotator cuff tear) and a reasonable alternative to surgery. There are many studies showing its efficacy at 1, 2 and 4 years. For example, in the following study, 42 patients with moderate - severe knee arthritis who were told they needed a knee replacement were followed for 2 years, most of them got significant improvement in pain and function and 86% were able to avoid knee surgery. www.mdpi.com/2305-6320/7/6/37
      Other studies have shown that rotator cuff tears can be healed without surgery using stem cells

    • @ducp3037
      @ducp3037 2 роки тому

      @Floyd. B did you have any of the suboccipital muscle attachments treated? How about the C1-C2 facet? And yes, I agree with what your saying about the PRP concentration. I’m guessing since you had 12 treatments, this was a 1-2 year process.

    • @ducp3037
      @ducp3037 2 роки тому

      @Floyd. B I agree, upper facet injections can be very dangerous. I’m going to a doctor who has experience injecting those facets but he wants to add those in during the second procedure and not the first. I heard that if good quality PRP is used (amber and in high concentrations), most patients get better from posterior instability in 2-4 treatments.

      Our Stem Cell treatment for arthritis (in Estero, Bonita, Fort Myers area) typically runs $5-$7K (depends on size of the area and complexity). This typically includes prolotherapy and PRP treatments to stabilize the joint. PRP for arthritis typically does not grow cartilage, but improves the health of the cartilage and the health of the entire joint (including the ligaments and tendons, if injected properly).

      Bone marrow stem cells injections can be an effective way to treat severe bone on bone knee arthritis. It can provide great symptoms relief for ~ 4-5 years in ~ 75% of patients. The stem cells improve the health and environment of the joint, contrary to common belief, they will not regrow the cartilage, but they do make the joint healthier, more functional and less painful.
