My two knees are bone on bone for many years and my lower spine I was told I would not thank them for the surgery as it would leave me in a lot more pain . This is not "the Regenexx" method, but there are some similarities. The prolotherapy (only takes 40 mins) is done 3-5 days prior to the bone marrow stem cell procedure to prepare the joint. The PRP is done on the same day as the bone marrow injection. You are in clinic for ~ 3-4 hours on the day of the bone marrow stem cel procedure. If you want to use autologous stem cells, adipose stem cells can be used. Recent reports have shown the use of umbilical cord-derived stem cells (allogenic stem cells) also shows promising results in treating knee arthritis.

@Floyd. B did you have any of the suboccipital muscle attachments treated? How about the C1-C2 facet? And yes, I agree with what your saying about the PRP concentration. I’m guessing since you had 12 treatments, this was a 1-2 year process.
@Floyd. B I agree, upper facet injections can be very dangerous. I’m going to a doctor who has experience injecting those facets but he wants to add those in during the second procedure and not the first. I heard that if good quality PRP is used (amber and in high concentrations), most patients get better from posterior instability in 2-4 treatments.

@@jimbob4456 Well it's a very expensive procedure. There are other options that are proven to regenerate cartilage like ACI and MACI. I'm just trying to avoid surgery. But I'm not willing to throw away thousands of dollars on something that dosent work when there are surgical procedures that do.
