I love your epaper idea, imagine reading a book on your psychic paper, or showing an image of some ID you often use, looking as though it were built onto the “psychic” paper
Man I remember seeing the psychic paper for the first time 15 odd years ago, couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 years old, having a version that could actually print messages on it in a way like that would make my childhood self ecstatic, you've made me excited for the future of prop replicas my friend

I had the Character Options Psychic Paper, I have no idea where it is. As I've not thrown it out and I'd certainly buy a toy of a sonic so I could have it with my sonic in the future. But I love the idea which you have come up with Steven I'd certainly encourage you to pursue this!

I have and it's amazing.
For anyone interested, these epaper displays are extremely thin, some come as thin as a piece of card, no circuitboard attached. the thin electronics can be hidden completely out of sight, while adding hardly any bulk to the wallet. This is a project Im very interested in attempting since Steve and I spoke about it.

The e-paper option would be awesome, the only challenge COULD be when using it as in the Vampires of Venice, where it displays some sort of legitimation, don't know if you could achieve that with e-paper compared to a normal tiny display. Also, they should start including this in the 12th's Sonic, as he showed us there IS in fact a marker inside it.

This is genius. I've seen a bunch of different things with the mask concept (such as daft punk style helmets with it, or just full face displays), and having the kindle-esque screen would work so well.
My only extra thought is what if there's a way to have it be two way communication? Not as in using the app to be able to "text" other papers (although that'd be awesome), but like, having the ability to draw onto the paper, and it saves onto the app

Sounds like a great idea that I would buy myself. I just hop you figure out a way so that the electrical components are covered giving it the same look as it did in the show. Maybe by having the electrical components in between two sheets of leather hiding them. And of course include the triangular pocket on the inside.

When I was younger my class in elementary gave us these cheap thin wallets and we would put this fake paper money in it which we would get for doing stuff well and on Friday we could get something out of the prize box I got a dark blue one which I would carry around with a pin or flashlight

i bought a psychic paper travel holder at 3:11 lol hes not wrong but i got it from forbidden planet, and the unit one, to go along with the unit one i bought 4 years ago, but the new one looks clean and old one has a battered look
