Very useful with a lot of fun possibilities. Thank you.
glad you enjoyed it!
can we do something similar with fluid simulation? i want my fluid sims to be instanced but not using the age old method- but this method.
Woww!!! Super helpful plus I love your content delivery and pacing
Awesome, here is my subscription
thanks!
Great Tutorial, thank you.
Cool! Thanks
Hello im having an issue, i have a curve for wich i want to set a rectangular mesh, now when i set that mesh to volume and distribute those points it won't work? How can i solve this problem?
if ur using a curve instead of a mesh u dont need to do mesh to volume. Instead u just distribute points on the curve and instance the meshes
@@RobbieTilton no i have a cage like structure along curve in wich i want to place instances balls without the sticking out of the cage.
@@ExistentialDawn create a cage by extruding from the curve then.
And if I have two or more unconnected volumes that represent one object, how then?
when you say 'represent one object' what does that mean?
@@RobbieTilton One object, but separate volumes in sections. I have already found geonode: Mesh -> Operations -> Mesh to Volume.
@@NickProkhorenko the tutorial should work no problem for what you're saying. have you followed the steps?
@@RobbieTilton And how to add emission to the volume in the geonodes?
