    Dodge/Chrysler lube tech here. Great job! There is a large plastic cover that comes standard on these that you are missing on yours, a common problem when your charger is lowered. There are four 10mm bolts that hold it up

      Hell it's already too low. I took a turn a little too early & scraped the bottom & the front corner came loose. Then I went through flood waters & knocked the other corner loose.

    Been thinking about doing the oil change myself since I’m a few miles over since my last oil change. The only hard part is getting all the tools like the jack stands and stuff first then you get the oil. It all adds up to over $150 to do the the first oil change yourself with new tools you just paid for. I’ll give it a shot when I have more money to spare for the tools

      I don’t even put it on jack or jack stand, just turn my tires to the side and get up under there lol plus I get free tools and oil at my job 😂 so I only spend on the oil filter tbh lol

    How often should we be changing our oil on our R/T? Especially if we are spirited drivers.

    • @ttarverr
      @ttarverr 10 місяців тому

      2.5 to 3k and don't bs either. Especially with our lifter problems in the hemis. Full synthetic, you can go up to like 5 or 6k, but if you drive spirited as you say, 3k should be your change mark.

    Talks about saving money, and blows money with bad advice. No need for Mobile 1 super premium oil. So long as your oil meets the API certifications your set. Correct about crappy filters, save money on oil Wallyworld brand supertech is fine, spend some on a good filter. Running Full Synthetic and changing oil at 3K is silly 5K interval is fine, and can be stretched if running Full synthetic. Stop throwing money away.
