Sooo… when approaching a stop sign or light, and you are downshifting… Do you press on the break or you let the car go by itself and letting the gears slowly stopping the car?
Don't downshift at all when coming to a stop with paddle shifters. Let the car do it. You will be revving your RPMS up just to stop the car, which is bad for your engine, transmission, and brakes. The only time you should ever down shift with paddles is to accelerate quickly when you're already up to driving speed. Edit* Or if you're reducing your speed but not planning to stop. Like if you're in 6th gear going 60mph, but you come into a 35mph zone you would down shift to about 4th gear.
As I understand it, down shift will put you a gear down, and your RPMs will jump up so you can press the gas get to a higher RPM and then shift up. As long as you don’t go past 5500. During normal driving you shouldn’t need to shift up closer to 5500. That’s mainly for racing.
@@dennisx4492don’t use the shift stick, keep it in automatic. downshift your left paddle to 3rd gear and you should be coasting between 3-4k RPM at a normal speed. then slam the gas and your car should pull harder. the car will automatically shift for you even while using the paddles, but DON’T use the shift stick in M mode or it’ll be a true manual mode and won’t upshift for you.
That's why yo gas be gone right there. As long as the car shift more gears and lower the rp less gas being used and longer the gear hold more gas ..How you keep people from stealing yo charger.. because I want a scat pack wide body and I wanna do after market stuff to it.
there isn't really a set number, just downshift when you're slowing down. you know you downshifted too early if it the RPM shows 4000-5000+ after you just downshifted a gear (although it's not the end of the world, wont really do nothing to your car)
How come when I’m using my paddle shifters when I slow all the way down or close to all the way down manual mode will turn off then it will say hit a paddle shifter to basically start over.
Because you need to manually turn your stick shift into the M. Now you really in manual, and you have full control of your gears. But when you in 3 and you slow down enough the car will shift you all the way down to 1. If you use paddle shifters in automatic the car will shift for you when is convenient for the car.
The car would last 2.5x longer if you drove it like a normal person. You’d get better gas mileage and pay less in repairs as well. This is the most improper way to use paddle shifters I have ever seen.
Does anyone know why when I try to downshift or up shift it says paddle shifting disabled it doesn’t let me hold the downshift to drop to the lowest gear for a roll
im not an expert but i feel like downshifting at a high speed or high rpm can blow your transmission. Im just wanting to know when to downshift especially on the highway going 65 on 5 and need to reduce speed to 2 or 3 really quickly.
It's depends on your credit and drive history man.. you gotta just call around and see ,because they ask for certain personal Information that give's them a reference of how much you gonna pay month or pay in full for that 3 months or 6months or 1 year .
5500 not 55,000 And for regular dailys driving shift around 2500-3500..and if crusing at say 30mph stay in 3rd keep the rpms down. U dont wanna drive at 4k + all the time shifting at 5500+ is for getting it Lol
People say 5500 is crazy? Shit I shifting a 7,000 start of the redline baby my powers pike is 6500 so it's not so bad, don't buy what you cannot afford.

If your worried about gas you don’t need a scat pack get a v6 bruh!
when u park anywhere pop the hood go to the control panel box and unplug your starter then just plug it back in when u go back
What rpms should u downshift at or it doesn’t matter

Keep the rpms between 1000-2000 when you downshifting
