Hey Unca' Larry! Consistently the best guitar content on YT. Love it. That strat sounds unreal! The tonal variety you can get out of it! The fact that you can shred like a mother ****er, but you rarely do it is so great. Your content has done more for my playing than anything else. You are very generous, I am so grateful. As are we all. ❤
I always feel like you relentlessly pioneer... I am 51 and have played guitar since I was taught by my best friend (Ronnie) who died in a car accident our sophomore year. I got the bug hard with him and have carried on since, and like most I've heard a million players in my adult life. I can count on one hand the guys I feel like have new things to say all the time without cutting corners with fireworks that don't mean anything. You play only from the gut, not from the mind. Your quest to grow allows for a vocabulary that others at the top have, but "the pioneering" is where you destroy the world. I am ungifted technically, but have worked hard and have only trusted my ears. The only gift I have are my ears - I know immediately what matters musically.. Your channel feeds that deep place daily. Thank you, Tom / Uncle Larry / Starship Trooper / Little Tommy from Cleveland / The Sessionman.. Bless you and the Boys from Charleston, SC.
All-time FAV?!. 1st mesmerized by the left hand. Then I couldn't take my eyes off the finger/guitar pick switching. Absolutely mind blowing. $1000 lesson in 7 min.
Thanks for this view , it's mesmerizing from this perspective... thanks for all the great advice and interviews. I hope you do more from this perspective. Rock on Tom .
I listen to these videos on my long drives into London for gigs in the hope that i'll be so inspired that even an ounce of this greatness will come out in my own playing........... It never does. Thanks for the great music Tom
Damn it, Uncle Larry. You are such a badass. This might be the best thing you have ever posted. BTW, I was stage left of you guys at the bar in NY. Thanks for making the trip.
❤ He sure is a bad ass. He’s the best guitar player for my taste. And seeing him in person is a fantastic experience and I’ll be having it this coming Friday.❤
I get so pumped when you post! Unlike so many online players your playing has got that i made the people move in real life out there on the floor. Jamaicans always telling me on stage yo time to work!
I really love that top-down perspective, freshens things up. I'm a beginner guitarist and i can now see it how it would look from my perspective, that's awesome Uncle!
Dear Tom those bass strings bends are so sweet and delicioulsly groovy Love them This angle show really well all your crazy extended chords and the spider web of your incredible playing Hats off
seeing the list of expelled Home Skoolers got me thinking about past episodes. Remeber when that guy commented in the early days "Why don't you like Strats?" "you look uncomfortable playing them"
Well, isn't this perspective just magnificent. Uncle Larry, those left hand fingers of yours each have their own and independent brain and sensory system of their own....WOW!
Love that camera angle and those chords bro! It reminds me of that chord structure in "Talk To Ya Later" by the Tubes right before the big A power chord!
@@501chorusecho You're going to have to up your production value and start doing a three camera shoot and let Marshall and Leo man the switcher like an NFL game!
First they will have to learn how to play the guitar at that angle. Nobody will copy that because they can't 😅 and if they do there will be a hundred edits
Lovely angle of recording was nice to see your fingers closely for the first time and your finger movements seems to amaze me man, So much feel and room... God bless ya old larry !!
well i guess i'm hanging up my guitar,, from that angle it is a whole new world ,,, Tom you are unreal a true musician and artist,,, this video more than any other one you have made really shows your skill level,,,, my tele is now in the bin
Tom…man that’s the greatest money shot I’ve ever seen 😅 on guitar…you gotta keep that cinematography happening T. Thanks again for all you do for the Homeskoolers Larry
Absolutely love guitar solos in any genre of music, and I’d love to hear some new ones/solos that many people don’t mention. Any suggestions??? Maybe this bad ass Uncle Larry!! I believe the guitar gave up!!! You win
Love this angle! You should do this all the time. It's funny, the first thing that came to mind was those movie scenes where a tarantula is creeping up the chest of some poor slob sleeping in a tent.
Amazing! Thank you. Being a lefty... I like the regular angle because it's like a mirror image for me. However this angle is so unique, your neck hand looks like some alien at work... creating magic. I really think your albums will be future classics, much like we hold up Jeff Becks works.
I can tell you either play with tunings or your hands are monstrous.. That goes without staying that your heart and soul and all that goes with it are in tune with the universal masters plans to be happy
Another all time favorite. I'd love to see more cool angles. I've been lucky enough to sit in the front row to watch Uncle Larry a few times, and unlike other guitar players, where I’m watching the frets, with UL I’m watching the “claw” - best TV show on the planet
Love this…thank you. I imagine that if one were a fly on the wall in Jeff Beck’s stately English Manor…one might have heard very similar tones emanating from his studio. Searching for new tones on guitar was, after all … his life’s calling. And we were the beneficiaries.
I’ve started using your method of holding the whammy bar as explained in one of your videos-thank you for sharing that! Would you mind showing us how you handle the pick when transferring it between the use and non-use positions? It would be really interesting to see your approach!
There's lots of notes between all those notes, and I think you found most of them. Thanks for the camera angle -- it shows your amazing right hand at work.
Every now and again you post some head turning playing. The intervals in this solo are some non- routine choices and the run of spread triads is way cool. Thanks.

Dude you nailed it. Great POV.
read my mind Mr model # band
Uncle Larry is super-humanly gifted with natural physical ability - but what sets him apart is ...he plays it like its music.
Great angle, thanks so much.
This is a good angle for us learning
All-time FAV?!. 1st mesmerized by the left hand. Then I couldn't take my eyes off the finger/guitar pick switching. Absolutely mind blowing. $1000 lesson in 7 min.
I think we all had a feeling this strat was gonna bring amazing vibes to the channel. Certainly has been amazing so far
Badass! Love the overhead view Buk! Thanks for sharing. Peace
Very nice view on that jam, it illustrates your cobra-like pinky. A very busy digit in the arsenal. Thank you for all you do!
This is a gem of an angle for learning fretting techniques. Really appreciate this Tom. Badass!
Wow. Incredible. Could watch that all day!
Thanks for this view , it's mesmerizing from this perspective... thanks for all the great advice and interviews. I hope you do more from this perspective. Rock on Tom .
So cool watching that masterful left hand from this angle! Thanks Tom!
angle is so appreciated, especially with your great style of play! Bravo!
Phenomenal. Thanks for sharing this maestro
A masters view of how it's done. Well played Tom, very well played. Many thanks for your generosity!
The guy keeps kicking me. He just knows how and when to play the right nuances. Thanks Tom for your guitar playing. Greetings from Germany
Whew that's a lot to take in. Some of the greatest and tastiest bends ever.
I listen to these videos on my long drives into London for gigs in the hope that i'll be so inspired that even an ounce of this greatness will come out in my own playing........... It never does. Thanks for the great music Tom
Thanks for filming this angle. Definitely a master class in and of itself

PlayerCam returns! Love it.
I get so pumped when you post! Unlike so many online players your playing has got that i made the people move in real life out there on the floor. Jamaicans always telling me on stage yo time to work!
Bangs the lamp at 4:53, swinging ensues. Love it.
I dig it…sounds, camera angle, right hand work, left hand work…all of it!
Absolutely filthy. Pure unadulterated rare raw fire.
I really love that top-down perspective, freshens things up. I'm a beginner guitarist and i can now see it how it would look from my perspective, that's awesome Uncle!
Love this perspective, thanks Larry!
Magic inspiration! So cool to see the mangled movement behind the music. Incredible man!
Truly amazing watching your fretboard work…
Fantastic! I'll watch it again and maybe again and again....
It speaks for itself. A master at work
Truly wonderful and uplifting! What a great Christmas present this video is! Thank you!
Right on my man
Gift wrapped just for you

Dude, It is so fun to watch your hands and listen to the sounds. Makes me amped to play guitar! Thank you!
Right? Watched this and had to pick up my guitar.
Dude, breathtaking. The POV was almost overwhelming...
Amazing sounding jam with all those (countless!) changing shapes and positions, and just right-sounding notes that please the ear. Yeah!
Holy shhhh, that was amazing. Gorgeous guitar.
Well, isn't this perspective just magnificent. Uncle Larry, those left hand fingers of yours each have their own and independent brain and sensory system of their own....WOW!
always a inspiration, thanks Tom.
Beautiful angle on the neck! Thanks, Unc!
Amazing Tom, Maybe just 21 frets, but a million possibilities. And you are always exploring those possibilities. It always inspires me. Thanks.
I like that perspective for picking up your licks!
Agreed, it really helps to understand how Uncle Larry is approaching the fretboard and his unique chord voicings.
Love that camera angle and those chords bro! It reminds me of that chord structure in "Talk To Ya Later" by the Tubes right before the big A power chord!
That was really really cool as I sit here on a cloudy day in Nashville. Thanks, Larry.
As has been said, so helpful to see you play from this angle. Thank you.
Immense spidery digits pleasing my ears. Thank you Tom! ❤
The Twin reverb fitts like a glove on that Strat. Very inspiring I can tell.👌
Love the POV vids. You and that guitar are vibing today, so good!
I have a feeling we are gonna be seeing a few other UA-camrs doing the same thing very soon hahaaaa

Copycats always cheat.😂
I really loved this...ty😊
Yes to this angle when just playing! It’s informative and fascinating just seeing a master’s hands on the instrument.
Thanks for the angle!
Reminds me of Keith Jarrett’s solo work. Koln and La Scala. Thank you.
Love this view, can really see how you do that thing you do so well.
I absolutely love the different camera angle.. you were blessed with guitar hands.. awesome
Lovely angle of recording was nice to see your fingers closely for the first time and your finger movements seems to amaze me man, So much feel and room... God bless ya old larry !!
That Strat looks like an Alien Spacecraft , You make playing look easy
That was some of your best bluesiest right there man. I always dig your vibe…
Wow this is a cool POV. I'm not nearly a good enough player to get the most out of your vids, but I get plenty of inspiration! Love the channel!
It’s like watching too many fingers moving the wrong way and it’s hard to understand how every bit of it sounds so amazing.
Tom you never cease to impress. Thanks man, I really enjoyed this one!
And that’s how you use all the frets and all the strings. All of them. Wow!
In my opinion, Uncle Larry has the most unique and beautiful style since the late great EVH. He can play just about anything and I'm mezmerised!
A lotta music in that one, Sir. And many. many upstrokes.
First time long time, the best thing you’ve ever uploaded! That old strat finally came home to you!
well i guess i'm hanging up my guitar,, from that angle it is a whole new world ,,, Tom you are unreal a true musician and artist,,, this video more than any other one you have made really shows your skill level,,,, my tele is now in the bin
I can see the light bulb over Larry’s head when he thought to give us this great POV!

beautiful. the 'pick hide' done like a master slight-of-hand magician.
Hot stuff...can't get enough!
The spacecam is great for showing us what you're doin', thanks Tommy.
If Six String Samurai truly is prophecy, soon we’ll all bow to Buk, our benevolent king.
Beautiful playing, my friend.
This vantage point is honestly soooo helpful!
Love this angle! You should do this all the time. It's funny, the first thing that came to mind was those movie scenes where a tarantula is creeping up the chest of some poor slob sleeping in a tent.
Thank you Sooo much, Tom. I SERIOUSLY needed that.
you got it bro....glad you dig it...55 years of pain comin at ya
Miles would approve. Outstanding lesson, Larry. It will take me months, if not longer to emulate--but it will be a great adventure. Thank you.

Definitely one of your craziest videos. No one else plays like this

You play this guitar as if it is your best friend that's been with you... like forever. Extremely enjoyable, thanks
It's like listening to a live band and every string is a different musician contributing to the music
Finger to pick transition is smooth.
This may be the best teaching angle ever. What a huge knowledege share!

The Last 2 minutes are crazy woah
Every now and again you post some head turning playing. The intervals in this solo are some non- routine choices and the run of spread triads is way cool. Thanks.
Every time I see that Strat I forget about the aliens flying drones over New Jersey. Thanks Tom
I think you particularly like that strat.
Dude. Come on , man. That's perfect and beautiful.
Incredible playing bye the way uncle.
