I work just down the hill from CHOP and even being that close I don’t see anything like what’s talked about in the media 🤷🏻♀️

Absolutely! I do not fear the police unless im doing something wrong, like driving 20 over the limit. When i was a kid i was taught to hate the police. As i grew up i realized i was taught to hate the police because the adults were drinking and driving or they had drugs like meth on them. It's even easier to convince children to hate when they grow up without parents and are being raised by people who say "shhh the police will take you away." As a child already in the system that's a terrifying sentence. As an adult, I dont hate the police. I actually wish they were more nosey because they could have saved me as a young child. Only criminals hate the police.
