Definitely wanna follow to see how it goes im currently using large group breeding 15 f to 3 males in large concrete tubs so 60 f every week then pulling prego moms out every week on cleaning and cycling into my regular rat racks. But keep running outta space im building 5 more racks in the next week or so to keep up with room currently i have 7 racks just for the pregent moms
I know of a few breeders that do that way of breeding too...babies are fat and you can keep an eye on litter sizes better

how is the new way of breeding working out for you ?
i have gone down to 2 racks with rotating males as I needed larger bursts of litters per week. Id say 2 out of 7 racks rotating works great...but a pain to get old girls out and put new in.
Dave … when you say I bet your wondering why Dave wrecked one of those tops …. I was actually think at what point are you actually saving money buy building this after all these expensive parts and tubs 😭😭😭
that top that I did end up cutting up was a Prototype they asked me to try as they were working on the water nipple area...It did not work as they planned so it was useless till I found a use for it. So it was a free part. The 2 big boa tubs I traded a boa for as I live 20 min away from them and they were looking for another animal to put into their lobby showroom. So...for me, it was not expensive at all. I didn't go into detail in the vid I am sorry.
