It was thanks to your vids I made the jump and ordered 3 racks from Jessy. I received them last week! They are amazing quality and I’m super happy with them. So thank you.... I wish we could also get the food you use here in the U.K.

Why don’t you get an extra rack tub and then you can eliminate the “holding tank” and save a lot of time and handle the rats half as much. It’s so much slicker and quicker pulling the drawer placing them in the clean tub and slide it back in and go clean that tub for your next one. Your making more work for yourself.

I just cleaned mine took me about the same amount of time but it was 30 degrees outside. Winter cleaning definitely sucks more

What does your production look like during the summer when it’s hot versus when it cools off?

It’s half the production if it’s extremely hot

It’s pronounced Chlor-hexa-deen, and you could save money just diluting it and using paper towels to wipe your racks down instead of worrying about disinfectant wipe. It’s the same stuff used to sterilize medical equipment, tables at the vet you can even use it like iodine on your reptiles if they get a cut or something. I’ve also been told by someone they used it in a fog machine twice a day for about 4-5mins at a time to cure a snakes respiratory infection.

Hi I breed my own rats for my ball python. Some of my rats developed some fat glands is this normal? Some fat glands go away but some get bigger and eventually killed the rat. Do you anything like that happens?

They aren't fat glands. Your rats are getting tumors. They aren't healthy. Euthanize them all and get new rats. Their health is gonna be shitty if you don't take good care of them.

I know this question is old, But I'll answer some of your questions.
      1. A good age to start breeding females is 4 months- 5 months.
      2. You should leave the male in for 2 weeks and then move him.
      3. I'm not a feeder rat breeder, but I still know how to breed them..
      3F - 1M is a good start.
      4. Females will start showing their big bellies around 2-3wks.

How much do you sell for pet rat?

As a person who breeds Pet rats, pet mice, and feeder mice..
Feeder grade mice/rats are WAY cheaper then Pet Grade Rats/Mice.
(Pet grade mice aren't that expensive though.)
