Philosophically speaking, that’s not false. There is a psychological theory, the Persona and Shadow- the Mask, and the True Face beneath. By searching within, one can begin to separate what is truly “you” and what you have set up to defend yourself from the day-to-day world, though you may not like what you find. By finding the balance between your Shadow and your Persona, you can begin to grow as a person. You must look inside yourself to save your self from your other self; only then will your true self reveal itself.

Kant in one sentence (referencing me, myself and I)
Not even untrue haha
Philosophically speaking, that’s not false. There is a psychological theory, the Persona and Shadow- the Mask, and the True Face beneath. By searching within, one can begin to separate what is truly “you” and what you have set up to defend yourself from the day-to-day world, though you may not like what you find. By finding the balance between your Shadow and your Persona, you can begin to grow as a person.
You must look inside yourself to save your self from your other self; only then will your true self reveal itself.
