Your 'magic button' sounds like visualization, used by performers and athletes. It's been shown by research that if you repeatedly visualize yourself accomplishing a certain goal it's likelier you'll be able to really do it when the time comes for it. I love these kinds of videos from you!
Dear Mrs. Trixy I’m completely blind, autistic, and have a chronic heart condition. Sometimes I have bad days where I have bad dreams, and when I wake up, everything I touch either breaks, spills, or malfunctions. One of my favorite coping strategies is listening to a song or a video that has one of my favorite words in it, I have lots of favorite words in my native tongue, English, but I also have some which I stole from German, anyway, these words make me happy. If I’m having an anxiety attack, like when my baby nephew is screaming and crying or something and my chest hurts, I like to breathe in smells I like, such as vanilla, catnip, and woods, just to name a few. Breathing in these smells, puts me in a euphoric corpse mode, relaxing my body, slowing my breathing.
@@flenero3017 NO, it’s NOT a joke, I’m actually very serious and if you would actually look at my channel and videos you’d know I was serious and NOT joking or playing in any way.

the last 3 years have been really bad for me. But I started my apprenticeship in august and now I’m like the most happiest and confident I have ever been. It’s still have a lot to learn. Thanks for the video :)
Good stuff. I learned #4 as the "baby in the back seat" approach. I read a story about someone who was at a red light behind another car. The light turned green and the car in front didn't move. The person was upset at this and about to lay on the horn when a woman got out of the driver's seat and rushed to the passenger seat, terrified expression on her face. It turned out that her baby in the back seat had started choking on some food and the mother was focused on helping them (which she did). The moral is the same as your #4: we don't know what another person is going through, and most people aren't actually trying to make life harder for anyone else. Also, when I'm in heavy traffic and someone is acting aggressive, I remind myself that some people in this mess with me forgot to use the bathroom before they left, and then I relax.
I find your first technique to be one of the most important, it allows one to really begin to understand themself, and with time that greater understanding helps sidestep a lot of of the more troubling moods. That's been my experience. Have a great day everybody.
I got a lot out of a book about writing your thesis in fifteen minutes a day. The premise is that you gradually work your way into a major project, and then it gets easier to make progress, and start writing for much longer periods. I finished my thesis and a published book adaptation, so it worked in my case. As for hugging movie characters and telling them everything will be ok, that unfortunately doesn't hold true in the Saw movies. Then again, those characters aren't all that well developed. Leaving Las Vegas might be a better example for my argument. I really enjoy your videos. You're a wonderfully warm and compassionate person.
Fantastic video Trixie! Your sharing, caring and empathy are so wonderful. Thank you for sharing with us. We are lucky to have you and your videos in our lives. Thank you! 👏👏👏👏.
Thank you. I also like watching funny videos, like Simon's cat, and asking for a hug. If it's really bad, I go and pull silly faces at myself in the mirror, which usually lightens my mood enough to do a small constructive thing, like go for a walk or clean a shelf. At one time I used to clean the kitchen bin. It was a job I hated, but I reasoned that at least the bin would be clean without spoiling a good mood on another day. Oddly enough, I generally felt better by the time it was done.
Feeling inferior, feeling less than everyone else, these are NORMAL. This is a consequence of being a small, weak and inferior child, literally looking up to every one else. The key is to tell yourself "Hey, everyone feels like this. I am worth just the same as everyone else." It takes time and practice.
This is one of those times I wish YT had a hug/care emoji reaction. You are unrealistically beautiful and are very fun/entertaining. The fact that you have a YT channel with literally hundreds of thousands of followers reinforces that assertion.

My tip...Changing my physical presentation. I remember when Joel Osteen gave a sermon, he remarked even if you are going to the store, don't look like a slob. God is watching. With that said. I as a male feel better with a shave dressing up, and coloring my hair. We really as a society do care what other people think, or how professional we are perceived. I also respect women who may undergo augmentation if they feel less confident about their bodies. Trust me if a man could change his characteristics he would wear the TSHIRT announcing it.
