If I am being entirely honest, I don’t think I am even using the satchel properly. But I haven’t figured out if the shorter/smaller straps are for attachment to the leg or not, but I do know that the largest strap is most likely for attachment around the waist.
hey there! sorry for the late response, but I believe the metal buckles can be replaced but not the straps themselves because they’re attached to the face blank. However, for the buckles i have not seen them being sold alone as replacements on the market at all. Sorry about that.

Yes, the mask can function totally fine on its own against some of the most common chemical agents. The second skin provides additional protection against Blister agents. You can find a second skin relatively commonly on ebay, or American surplus stored and sites. Hope that helps a bit !
Depends on which valves you’re looking for, like the nosecup valves or exhale valve for example. If you’re in the US, i believe AeonFawkes may have some. Or they occasionally appear on Ebay

Hey man, I’ve seen you on Weaponsandstuff93 comment section mentioning that you know a guy who can get a om90 kit for €65. I’m interested in buying one. Would it be possible to ship to the U.S.?
Hey! Well sadly that comment I had left was about a few months ago now and he’s unfortunately run out of his surplus’d stock of OM90s. And yes! He ships worldwide! Luckily on the other hand though he still has a supply of newly sealed OM90 kits for about 1.5x the price of a surplus one with a factory sealed OM90 face piece with drinking tube and extra blanking plug, sealed JP75a nbc poncho, sealed OF90 filter, and still sealed mask carrier if you’re interested. and if so, i can connect you to him ;)
When I was putting the rubber pieces back into the tube valves you mentioned around 3:20, then I pressed too hard and broke the plastic. Is there a way to replace them? ._.
Oh no, i’m sorry if I was at fault. But I did manage to find a seller with lots of the tissot/oronasal cup valves www.ebay.com/itm/M40-Gas-Mask-Nose-Valve-Disc-New-Nosecup-Nose-Cup-10-Pair-Per-Box-11-Avail-/154177752480?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0 he’s selling them in lots but maybe you could ask him for a single pair with a price that may intrigue him to sell you one? @@yomada7790 Oh no, it wasn't your fault haha I was just being too rough with what was clearly a fragile piece lol It was unfortunately the piece that's attached to the nasal cup that I broke, I think it's called an inlet valve? I was just being too rough when pushing/pulling the rubber/silicon piece that blocks your exhaled breath from fogging the lenses, and the flimsy valve itself broke.
@@adorablecenturion8436 ohhh you’re referring to the plastic valve assembly that’s literally attached to the nose cup and irremovable right; the one that the valve disc stick thingy goes through right? uh well im not quite sure if they have replacement parts that can be bought online, but i could be wrong. Sorry about that, and if you plan on having the mask useable, you could probably just cover the hole with like duct tape so then no breath will escape but if the lenses do fog, they will only have to be defogged through the remaining valve assembly. Hope that helps a bit :/
@@yomada7790 Oh sorry btw just to specify more, I mean one of the two valves that the smaller rubber discs attach to Ive only seen a couple of them around some sorta sketchy sites, but thats it. I think they're just sealed in place with some kind of glue. When I broke my valve I just took it out. It actually seals back in pretty well by hand, and doesn't move anywhere. I'll probably just duct tape the hole if the fogging is bad enough. The mask Im using is a bit rough around the edges anyway, the insert lenses have a few scratches and the drinking tube is just broken, I intend to get a different mask in the future anyways lmao
Hello, could someone tell me how to remove the smell of tobacco from my M40 gas mask? I have tried soaking it in soap and water but it did not give many results an hour I submerged it in active charcoal I do not know if It will work
timbits?lmao. well, uh i’m not a big expert on that exact problem but have you possibly tried scrubbing it with like a soft brush or wiping it with a towel while it is being soaked in the soap/water solution? because i think the smell of tobacco lingers when the actual like smoke attaches itself to something
i’ve heard you can, but some tell me that the oronasal cup for the M40 actually has an adhesive on it? i’m not entirely sure, but i sure as hell don’t want to risk it yet lol
Thanks, subscribed. You can put the voice emitter and the filter on either side as you re-assemble, right?
That’s correct! And thank you for the subscription !
Putting a second skin on a gas mask, whether it's the MCU2/P or the M40, it's like putting a hood on an M17 gas mask.
