Things I learned from playing the demo a bunch. 1. Speed is a stat the horse was the fastest available in the demo not sure about full game. 2. You're right about not upgrading damage. In the Demo doing too much damage meant you couldn't finish a lot of the later quests. Some of the ranger and slug ones require you to hit one target 8+ times in one barrage. Which is impossible if you kill with 3 hits. 3. Feel free to spend upgrade tokens freely, you can get them pretty easily by repeating a dungeon so there isn't much of a point in saving them. 4. Passive abilities are important, some forms like the horse have abilities that give bonus mana for breaking objects. The rat gives bonus health from scavenging and a few other forms passives are useful!
I tried to translate some of them, they were mostly about not having mouse support. Also I found this hilarious translation using google translate (in French, so I'm translating it again, in English) : "Third, it looks like a brush game, not a meat pigeon, not a meat pigeon, not a meat pigeon." And I have no idea what it means, haha!
Thanks wander for the new game recommendation, i had played further on and gotten the first macguffin and unlocked the ability to mix and match passive and skills from other forms and damn, it open up so much more possibilities
From the 8 or so years I've been watching you, you as a person is your a very nice person, someone that deserves to be comfortable with ther lifestyle and life. Along with your an amazing person. Be safe
When you mentioned Swords of Ditto, I was a bit surprised because I had just been looking into if they were connected whatsoever, but I couldn't find anything. You are right that the art style and level layout is very reminiscent of it.
oh nice, this is out now. well I spent a lot on warhammer this month for a belated xmas/bday present to myself, so this will have to wait till a month or two now. Game looks awesome though, one of my most anticipated games of the year so far. I think the idea of combining the things you can turn into is a good one. the whole transformation thing was cool enough, but then having the ability to combine them together just pushes this one even further. I hope we have situations that act like puzzles, where we have to work out exact combos to progress. also if their last game is anything to go by, this will be a polished gem IMO.
I hate when sound effects are so compressed that no amount of volume adjustment has a noticeable affect. I don't remember what the last game was that did that to me, but I had the volume -30dB just to make it tolerable and I couldn't hear anything else.
Playing this now and have to say its fun and (knowing now by experience) level mean ALOT in this game most rpgs make it so you know a lvl 24 mob and im at like lvl 16-17 it would be rough but doable but NOPE 1 shot like a chump i can do the dmg but they just rock me if i get hit.
This is so good we need more, we need a 100% playthrough

and you can sometimes get those upgrade tokens from killing mobs so it's fine spending them freely.
In regards to #2 it's possible to cheese that a touch by attacking warded foes.
With 1, the rat seems to have the highest base speed, but forms like the horse and slug that have dash abilities win out over short distances
Seems like an oversight since a lot of us see damage and immediately go to that.
Any game where you can play as a rat or a slug immediately captures my interest. I'll definitely pick this up later!
Do you have any other games like that? I’m wondering if other people have tried to do stuff with that besides rat/slugmen.
I mean it’s on game pass
Are you one of those low life's who say "you can pet your dog in game as well? Sold!"
Bought it right after I saw your video. Awesome game please do a full series on it!
this one is now on my radar the idea of being able to form shift druid style in an RPG is pretty cool
Seems like a cool and unique game, I'm sad their launch day was marred by a shit ton of negative Chinese reviews about crashes

@@nahtanahtan …so the review started in Chinese, it somehow got translated to French, and then you translated it to English?
@@nahtanahtan 'Meat Pigeon' kinda makes me think of rat, so maybe the reviewer doesn't like rats? Curious...
@@jamescox4638 Yup!

An isometric, rpg, comedy, version of Majora's Mask
You're going to enjoy Egg, trust me. On the negative side, powering up Egg is a mess and a half - because, you know, egg.
the noble rat is one of the most cunning and clever creature
With the music of this game and it's satisfying progression system I can see myself accidentally playing for far longer than is healthy
This looks really fun.
Yeeessss I somehow missed this upload but heard about the game and thought "I hope Wanderbots has played this"
Well i'm about to get this game right now, love the look of it

Very good, hope to see full play through. Also hope it comes to Switch.
Seeing that unclaimed quest reward blink for like 20 minutes was pain.
