- Jubilee Weekend Cairngorms wild camp trip on 3rd /5th June with sunset from summit of Ben Macdui and stunning sunrise over Loch A'an. Camp was at Feith Buidhe 1100m.
Quality Derek, we were very lucky with the weather, especially as that wind eased off for the camp. Wouldn't fancy it this weekend!
Yes, everything worked out perfectly last weekend.👍 Definitely, not a place to go when its windy and cloud is down as you'd miss the superb scenery.

This is very soothing and just so peaceful to watch, I come to your channel often and always find myself so moved and inspired to create. I think nowadays, the judgment of what makes a great content is very sketchy. Myself I had a UA-cam channel and I did quit because I felt I could not keep up with the power that if you don't make this certain level of quality it means your stuff is rubbish. I am finally getting back and realizing that it doesn't matter. You inspire me a lot. Thank you and wishing you the best on your journey :)

Thanks for watching Frank. It was classic conditions for our camp last weekend. Was warm by 7.30am on the Saturday and T shirt weather with no wind. Won't be like that today! Its a great spot for a camp with the river providing a plentiful supply of water reducing the weight of the ruc sac by a few kgs, which my old knees enjoyed! ATB Derek !

Thanks for watching Kev. I think this could be my favourite wild camp spot on a day when the weather is good. Relatively easy walk in and the River with plenty of water reduces weight to carry. I love the view from the waterfall down to Loch A'an. Wouldn't want to be up there today. Totally different weather. ATB Derek
