Love the idea of using a paddle kayak, that has to be great. Liked the video, but a word of advice, that cutting the throat of the stripers that you keep will give you better meat, and the fish doesn't have to suffocate in a cooler !!

NSYakfisher Outdoors funny you say that. The search bait has a rattle in it, and that’s what was catching them. Jean couldn’t get them that day on a normal lure, so we think it was the rattle they were chasing.
Thanks! The Rod/Reel combo (both which I don’t have anymore) are a Shimano 6’ medium action paired with a Shimano 2500 series sedona. I have another sedona I bought this season. Might go with the Nasci next year.

Haven’t fished here yet but hopefully next season... the water clarity when I live makes it much harder to catch these great fish on lures.

@@6atlantis I’ve never had that happen to me, but the biggest I’ve had on them so far was probably 32” fish. Never budged them a bit.
@@travismelanson yeah they bend out on big fish. You will be able to almost bend that hook out with your finger if you tried.
