how would you achieve the same "even environment no reflections" scenario but with BLACK BACKGROUND and base? I'm working with a Jewelry brand right now that wants Gold rings on black with glowing gold bands but NO REFLECTIONS... having a hell of time to get it right! thx for any tips or direction.

Thanks for the explanation. Outcome does look very good. I wonder if a polarizer CPL would also help to remove the reflections. Have you ever tried that?

A poralizer can get rid of reflections but what I meant here is the things reflecting off of your room like for example you can see things on the reflecting surface like in a mirror. The best way to do it is in my opinion to create an even environment of white around the object.
