It is so annoying that even after having one year of experience as a Salesforce admin along with 4 Salesforce certifications when you lookout for a job there is no one looking for a candidate having just one year of experience.
All they need is 2 years experience and that too experienced in integrations & in-depth programming.
What should we do and gain the experience from if no one is hiring candidates like the above situation?

hey, i m working into lead generation as Research Analyst from last 6months i m basically from Technical backgroud and now i m at stage where i have to choose a perfect career by changing my domain snd i realy want to boast career.
i have basic understanding of Servers, Active Directory, Networking switching routing.
i also have basic understanding of Java, and HtMl but i dnt want to be into devp. as i dnt have much interest into it.
please help me like what should i choose.
I really like this idea. People are doing certifications just to get ahead of those people having genuine experience or to get a higher pay.
Honestly, I myself certified in multiple domains including AWS, Security and Networking but that ain't worth it.
Companies should stop hiring candidates with certificates and start hiring people with real world experience. There are enough programs for freshers to get experience to get a headsup for their career path.
LACK OF EXPLORATION can lead people to a wrong career path, resulting big loss for a candidate as well as companies.
"We don't know, what we don't know" that's the biggest problem with us.

I'm admin certified and have seven months experience at nonprofits and can't find a job or another volunteer opportunity to save my life. I think I made a mistake trying to get into this field since it's so saturated now. Everyone jumped on the Salesforce bandwagon and now there's no jobs left. I've spoken directly to hiring managers and they don't care about hiring someone without the years of experience, no matter what you tell them. They can choose whomever they want to and always hire pros.

@@udaychavan421 I can't say whether to do it or not. I couldn't find a job in this field no matter what I did. I wasted two years trying to get into this field and it led me nowhere. The people I know who are Salesforce administrators got the job by pure luck and fell into it, and aren't even certified.

Great Series, loving it. I'am working in Oracle Siebel (CRM) as a Dev. I have 2 years exp. in Siebel. Will I be considered for a Salesforce Dev job?. Or do I still count as a fresher. I have knowledge in UI development languages like JS ,CSS and HTML. Im learning Apex and Visualforce. Thanks ;) .
Depends on the organisation for which you are applying, most of them will count you as experienced but some of them will not.
Your experience in JS, CSS and HTML will definitely help you a lot.

No, Only Skillsets matters to get a job
Guys wake up, there is only ONE reason companies won't hire freshers. And that is: There are a lot more people than there are jobs, very simple. Conclusion: DO NOT GET INTO THIS LINE OF WORK, also very simple.

Hi Shrey, As you have said that these days companies are not considering certifications for the job, is it still worth pursuing one?
It is definitely worth it. Consider it as a key to get into the car and after you get in the car you have to showcase your driving skills in order to get the driver's license.
Not like that if you've got a key to a car they will give you the license.

Salesforce admin certifications are a joke. Do not get an admin cert unless you are already working at a company and they use Salesforce and they want you to get the cert.
