      Hey getting it done is the important part! I've found cheaper ways to do stuff but it has taken a few swaps to figure it out. I'm down to under $2500 on them now, and I can get wiring and tuning to people for under $500

    what are the best model/year tdi engines to get the best reliability and power?

    • @TDISwaps
      @TDISwaps  2 роки тому

      I mean 99+ TDIs are good for 200 HP, up to 03 are the most reliable, 04-06 are better for 250-300 HP, and 09+ are good for 400+ but also less reliable and more expensive for parts, so it's kind of variable. Usually the cheapest option available is best

      I've got about 40K on my Toyota's pump running WMO, no issues with any of them so far. I mean the Chevy's pump is bound to go out just because it's a Chevy fuel pump LOL. Yes the H is just to relieve pressure

      @TDISwaps  9 місяців тому

      @FuZioNxYT yes if you want to drop the tank and put in a siphon you can, I prefer not having to mess with the tank at all though. Having the lift pump is also nice if you get any fuel line leaks I'd rather have diesel coming out than air getting in and killing the engine. On top of that over 200 hp these smaller Bosch pumps need a lift pump to supply enough fuel for the added HP
