I love protestant brothers and sisters, i find them to be best catholics when they come into one true Church of Jesus Christ, Catholic Church. Nothing and no one can put a bound to God Almighty. His mercy is endless, and i love Him for that. I pray that all who are not Catholic come to realization that Eucharist IS Body Blood Sould and Divinity of our Lord, and He is so close and present to us sinners. I appreciate your sincerity but the Reformers and their spiritual descendants believe that they are better catholics. They display a true catholicity as opposed to the false catholicity of the Roman church with its false claim that they alone are the true catholics.
Every nation, tribe, and tongue, in Christ Jesus we are one, at least we are supposed to be.

Is just me or it seems the Lord speak to us in His bride, the church, Sunday's gospel reading about His diciple, our sheperd, Pope Francis comments about other religions? 😇
As a Protestant, I really appreciate your view and openness to express that with a sincere heart. I must admit I got a laugh at the end when you expressed all that about acceptance only to talk about everyone converting to catholicism .At the end of the day, we will either be found in Christ or outside of Christ! But its based off of the work that He has done for us to be with God the Father, it’s definitely not anything that we deserve or that we have done, it’s only by the grace of God! You’re so true Keith, the good news is that I’m seeing around the states even with our brothers who are separated from his true church like our Protestants brothers and sisters there is a revival growing among us Catholics and with our brothers who are separated from our Catholic Church!!!! 😊🙌 it is all for the glory of god, now yes these people they have this thirst for Christ but unfortunately they don’t know where to get it and this reminds me of the Samaritan woman when our lord tells her that he is this living water which is in the Eucharist but it’s ok they will see very soon 🙌😊 the woman clothed with the sun soon she will rise from the south and bring the Holy Spirit to ALL nations to get them all together into one faith one God and one church just before the reign of the Antichrist, thanks be to God for his mercy and justice because they’re so many good people from other religions that unfortunately they don’t know the Eucharist Christ but they will know and we as well we all will know the whole truth in this illumination of consciousness when the Holy Spirit comes with the queen of heaven and earth 🙏❤️😊✌️🇺🇸🇵🇹

🕊If applied to what Pope Francis said about different paths to God. He was correct. God have mercy on all the heretical Catholics who shamed the Pope.
These readings make me think of that too. I don't think they are heretical, nor is the Pope.
After listening to the transcript (on Jimmy Akin's channel, with Lila Rose, today), I think this Pope is one of those Pope who is 'shy' and 'awkward'. He's not blessed with the skill of speech. What he says, the way he says, is often abrupt and clumsy. But he's not the only Pope that did this and caused confusion among the flock. I just need to remind myself that this Church is Christ's bride, and of His promise to protect Her and sanctify Her by his blood, that the gates of hell will never prevails. Keep focus on the Christ.

POPE BENEDICT XVI: Pope Benedict XVI says that Catholics should be delighted whenever non-Catholics do what is good or embrace what is true.
The pope was reflecting on a passage from the Gospel of Mark, in which “a man who was not among the followers of Jesus had cast out demons in his name” and “the Apostle John, young and zealous, wants to stop him, but Jesus will not allow him.”
Pope Benedict said: “Members of the Church should not feel jealousy, but should rejoice if someone from outside the community does good in the name of Christ...”
The pope quoted St. Augustine, 4-5th century saint: “Just as one can find that which is not Catholic in the Catholic Church, one can also find something that may be Catholic outside of the Catholic Church.”
This, the Pope said, is what Jesus wishes to explain to his disciples, that “good and even miraculous things” can happen outside their circle when others “cooperate with the Kingdom of God” even in small gestures such as “offering a simple glass of water to a missionary.”

Preach it, Keith! This needed to be said. Your exegesis reminds me of the fascinating testimony of a woman who converted from Islam. Her biggest stumbling block was the fact that Jesus was a poor carpenter and allowed Himself to be crucified. One day as she sat in a Catholic church while mentally challenging Jesus about this, she *audibly* heard these words from Him, said firmly yet lovingly: "Who are *you* to tell Me what I can and cannot be?" She became a Catholic soon afterwards.
I needed to hear this. I play gatekeeper (in my mind and heart) all the time, it is one of my biggest sins. The truth is many Catholics will go to hell (and many Protestants, and many non-believers). There is no guarantee, only the Grace of God. God alone knows our heart and He is the ONLY Judge. That said, I am in the Catholic Church because I believe the most Grace and path to Holiness are there. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Have Mercy on Us!
When I was in the military I worked for a Chief who hung a hook outside the main entrance to the building. Most people didn't even notice it, but I'm one of those detail guys who picks up on subtle changes. Anyway, after he had been there a couple weeks I asked him during a morning staff meeting what the hook was all about. He said that was where he hung his ego each morning before coming to work. He was a great leader and that has always stuck with me. I came to God broken in every way possible so I didn't need a hook because I was the last person in the church in a position to judge others. I was just happy God kept the light on for me. I focus on that. I've got my hands full trying to sort out my own role in the larger picture. I trust that God knows what He is doing, and more importantly, He knows what the rest of us are up to. It's a simple approach, but simple works for me.

It is perfectly ok to hold out your hands when you pray if that's what the Holy Spirit moves you to do! Listen to God, not men! As Jesus told the Pharisees: "You nullify the word of God for the sake of your traditions!"
My wife and I started the RCIA last Sunday. My biggest issue is Mother Mary sinless. Luke 2:21-24 that Mother Mary had to obey for Jewish law. I read in Leviticus 12:8 the offering was burnt offering and SIN offering. This says the women need to make a sin offering. I need help if I read this wrong. thanks

This unpacking the Mass is so refreshing, I have seven sisters living and one brother. Some of them are not Catholic, but they are so strong in their faith and helping people. I believe God sees all good works. I will never waiver from my faith as the Eucharist, Jesus’s body of blood given to us is the greatest gift of all, but I see the good works of other people too. God bless.
Thank you so much for this important message. If God knows no limits and does not look for them, why should we? There was a time when I looked down on parishioners who did things differently from me. That created a divide between me and other Catholics. That's when I realized something was off. Who am I to judge? I'm very far from sainthood... Division within the Church is the last thing we should encourage. The prince of darkness is already in charge of that.

So are people with us while against what Jesus willed?
Knowing or without knowing, God provides for everyone but only through Jesus that one can go to heaven!
A Protestant response. I reject your foundational premise. There is no such thing as the “Protestant churches”. There is only one church, the Holy Catholic Church of which Christ is the head. There are not a multitude of churches. There are a multitude of Christian traditions or communions. For example Baptist is a particular tradition within the one church. Just as Roman Catholicism is a particular tradition within the one church. No one Christian communion can validly claim that it and it alone constitutes the Christ’s one true church. That is sectarianism. Christ’s one true church consists of ALL the redeemed not just Baptist and not just Roman Catholic redeemed. True believers can be found in all the various Christian traditions or communions just as true local churches which are a visible, local expression of Christ’s one true church can be found in all the various Christians or communions.
A Protestant response. Has Christ established only one true church and is he alone its head? Yes absolutely. Does Christ’s one true church subsist solely within the bounds of the particular Christian tradition or Communion led by the Pope at the exclusion of all others? Absolutely not. That is sectarianism.

That position is only for the priest. This is in the rubrics. I’m a convert, and was in a church where everyone held hands. Then, once I studied the ruberics of the Mass, I stopped and fold my hands in 🙏🏻. Best thing, do what the deacon does. Once you know better, then you do better. ❤️🔥🙏🏻🌹
