- Pope Francis recently claimed that all religions are paths to God which has occasioned the usual firestorm of controversy, dismay, and efforts to explain what he really meant. Ralph attempts to cut through the confusion and state clearly what the truth upon which our salvation depends.

Thank you for your explanation. I believe that the Pope s intention was for unity BUT we cannot sacrifice Jesus teachings to accommodate everyone. Jesus Himself told the apostles if they wanted to leave Him themselves when some found His teaching hard to believe. The Truth is One and it should not stir confusion. I humbly think that the Pope should not give quick or ambiguous answers. let s pray to the Holy Spirit to outpour His light on us all.

It doesn’t merely SEEM that Francis said that “all religions are a path to reach God.” Rather, THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID. Stop the antipopesplaining.

Pope Francis owes the Church the right to hear the true exposition of the contents of the Deposit of Faith. I find it confusing listening to Pope Francis.

Regardless of all religions. God is working to draw everyone unto the knowledge of the truth. Jesus Christ is that strongest expression of God's light on Earth and in Heaven. He is the way, the truth and the life.

Mr. Martin, I respect you very much. I think your book The Fulfillment of All Desire will go down as a masterpiece. However, I invite you to look at what Francis has said during these trips again, as he has tripled down on the idea that other religions are paths to God. Far from letting up, he seems to be stepping on the gas. Godspeed to you, sir.
Thank you, Ralph, for articulating the real concerns that many people have about the Pope's recent comments concerning the equality of all religions. Sometimes, I find myself hoping that our next Pope is one who actually believes in the One True Catholic and Apostolic Church. This is troubling.

Strange times indeed
I do find it troubling that after hearing the concerns that arose from his statements he dug in his heels twice. Pastoral sensitivity and compassion are crucial for evangelization, but yes, the true God is better that the false gods. Through the Old Testament there are numerous contrasts that make this point (the moon god Sin, the god of Pharaoh, etc.) What Pope Francis said does not mesh with Psalm 115 and the First Commandment.

I have seen a lot of official ‘inter-religious dialogue’, and the fruits of it are, sorrowfully, much more evil than good. Mission goes down the tubes, it’s about attaining some sort of conciliatory statement without offending the other religions. You wouldn’t believe the Christ-denying things I've heard in the name of ‘inter-religious dialogue’. Lamb of God, save us from the ways of the world!!
I depend always turn to Dr. Ralph Martin and come away with peace. He speaks the truth from scripture and Tradition. God bless him!

Thank you Mr. Ralph Martin for that talk. It seems that our Pope keeps saying things that are very controversial and can easily be thought of as against the teachings of the Church. He’s becoming unpopular, I think. And there are videos, though those videos cannot taken seriously because it is so easy to create lies against him, they are nonetheless putting the pope in a dangerous position.
God is not the author of confusion. If we cause confusion we are stumbling blocks and souls are at risk. And yes, I am Catholic but deeply saddened at best by what comes out of the Vatican.

Thank you, Ralph Martin. I am a convert from a Protestant evangelical background. I consider myself so very blessed to have been ushered into the “fullness of the faith” by the Holy Spirit, and become Catholic. Pope Francis’ statements continue to upset, confuse, and (frankly) embarrass me. Of all people, he ought to be defending the Church.
We should not be left wondering or assuming what the pope meant. He knows there is confusion in our minds and hearts, any good father would clarify or correct his words that cause confusion among his children. I have heard nothing from the holy father that relieves my confusion 😢 he only doubles down with more 🤷♀️

Thank you for this kind treatment of our Catholic problem - (our current pope) I for one felt as though he thinks we are all idiots and don't know anything about world religions which of course are not all paths to God. That is common knowledge. He needs some lessons on world religions. He obviously doesn't know anything about them. Sad.

I was thinking of converting from Scientology to Catholicsm, but since the Pope has said that all religions lead to God, now I don't have to! I'm so glad the Pope went woke! I really didn't want to have to do the work.
If it was a lack of prudence, then papal clarification should follow within days.
How many of us have been imprudent but took the steps to walk it back?
