the "black powder" in the first test is smokeless powder. you must have pulled from a modern cartridge. actual black powder would have "poofed" right away.
Did you watch the video? Three times the annotation said gunpowder, not black powder, watch the 68 seconds again... (He also doesn't SAY anything, so not sure how you would be confused)
Black powder is a term made to differentiate traditional gunpowder from smokeless powder. It is technically incorrect to refer to smokeless powder as gunpowder.
I said the same thing that’s some low quality shit real flash powder is literally gone in a flash lol that gunpowder was smokeless powder too not black powder
The first one is green powder at most - truly black powder just ignite instantly..... the second one is not truly flash powder, flash powder just ignite like a lightning.
The reason the flash p burns so badly is because it's taken out of penny ennies. All the clay inside of the paper ends mixes with the flash, making it burn slower. If you want something potent, take apart whistling rockets with report. The whistle powder is almost as violent as flash and it has flash powder in the very tip, without clay or extra materials of any kind.
This was smokeless nitro gunpowder powerful but not suitable for firecrackers. Good black gunpowder can and has been used to make firecrackers( I do it all the time) the large firecrackers that boys played with on the fourth of july up until about the 1920's ? were filled with Chinese black" corned powder" not even modern rifle powder but they were plenty load. The original M-80 firecracker was a 1 1/2 inch device to simulate grenades and mortar fire in training soldiers and the 80 stood for 80 grains of black powder I am not sure they ever used BP in them I suspect they did not, but they did use a mix of KClo4/AL/Sb2S3/S wich is just as load as KClO4/AL.
Black powder and smokeless powder have the tendency to push on the path of least resistance, that's why black powder firecrackers need strong and thick end plugs, and ultra adhesion. Flash powder on the other hand has the tendency to destroy everything in its range. To put it simple, putting flash powder in your gun will turn it into a pipe bomb. So don't do it.
That flash powder isn't flash powder if it came from a firecracker - it's a small amount of TNT. Only reason it didn't explode is because it was able to vent the hot gases into the atmosphere.
Eric Stites what? Firecrackers don’t have TNT in them! Of course it’s flash powder if it came from firecrackers. (shitty flash powder) but still is flash powder TNT is a high explosive that needs a blasting cap to initiate detonation. It cannot be initiated by a fuse.
@@PyroThunder unless they've changed how they make them, Black Cat firecrackers contain .050 grams of TNT as the charge. Read the pack next time you buy some.
TNT is trinitrotoluene. That is definitly, positively not TNT which by the way can only be detonated by at least a number 8 engineers cap and better with a primer. That indeed was a dirty flash powder.

Glenn C And the smokeless powder is really slow burning rifle powder at that.
Who are you quoting he said gunpowder?

he changed the title

The powder is not black powder but nitrocellulose-based modern gunpowder which is an entirely different substance.
This flash and gunpowder is very bad
TheHubi no the flash one sucks ass
TheHubi The gunpowder is fucken amazing
The first one wasnt even gunpowder it was smokeless powder they react very differently
Stewart Law gun powder is smokeless, black powder is not
Ikr!
The fuse is most explosiv
that is some low quality flash powder
I said the same thing that’s some low quality shit real flash powder is literally gone in a flash lol that gunpowder was smokeless powder too not black powder
My flash powder makes a loud report even when it’s in the open like that.
You can tell he got that flash powder by breaking a bunch of smaller firecrackers from the look of smaller bentonite clay that are mixed in

@David M I never heard of armstrong, but flash powder is a binary low explosive like gunpowder, only much much more powerful.
@David M Two-part explosive. meaning 2 chemicals used in its construction. aluminum and potassium perchlorate
@David M That's okay, I don't do this stuff anymore, because you really need to have a place to do it anyway. I don't own any land, I live in town lol

Slow for flash powder. I have BP that's faster than that. Lol
That was some of the sorriest gunpowder I've ever seen. My homemade stuff disappears in a flash!
super videa!!! LIKE!!!
Filip
Flash powder react to fast I was seeing a black hole in my vision for hours
flash Powder
The main difference is that flash powder is used to have fun, gunpowder is used to kill people.
you can have fun and kill people with both
@@sussusamogus8860 yeah, you got a point

@@sussusamogus8860 happy new year too😄
What are the ingredients and is it easy to get them, thank you very much
Potassium charcoal and sulfur
Ok
The black powder is just not mix
Flash powder is the best
That is not flash powder. Flash powder burns fast with a loud pop
Lol you must could find it in compact it for its you have any explosive effect
Burns way faster than gunpowder
That means it is more explosive
Thats shit flash powder but i suppose they don't put real good stuff in consumer fireworks
Why gun powder slow?
Bcoz its open air and it was smokeless powder
Flashpowder is better
*_ignites finger tip_*
wear leather gloves.....burns hurt
Flash powder better
gun powder does not burn that slow -_-
black powder very fast in fire test this is somkless powder
Is it dangerous to put flash powder to my bulletshells?
ruth bagtong defenetly dont try it will explode the gun hopfully you still have your hand right now
Gabriel me Ok! Thanks m8.

Very dangerous. It burns much to fast and could very easily explode the chamber of the gun.
very bad gunpowder it shoul go alot faster than that
It's smokeless powder
Wrong. It's smokeless powder used in ammunition. It burned just fine. You are probably confusing it with black powder.
Here schwiizer gell?
Both are weak; very old, or have a lot of moisture.
Don't try this at home I blew up my hand doing this and had to go to the hospital
Are you serious?
Just burned my fingers with flash powder not fun
what a crappy flash powder, in this amount it should detonate.
I bet it wasn't even gun powder.
like, nedal bys mi odběr?
TV OKPIG lebo beflix ti isto rozumie... :-*
That first one is definitely not gun power gunpowder burns way faster not burn like a log
