The more I hear about Crash, the deeper into insanity I sink. I know he has a bigger fanbase, but there is no legit excuse Spyro can't get a new release of his own after all this. A new classic game introducing Cynder, a properly polished TLoS remake(or sequel), or a new continuity that combines what makes both universes special, I don't care which at this point as long as it's one of them. Also… I wonder when you're going to talk about the earth element and the lore behind it.
I hear ya. I didn’t say what my opinion was in this video, might mention it later, but I agree that this whole Spyro content drought is a bit… much. Want to see something new and talk about it but all I have are really just rumors, nothing really solid, which is why I’ve also been thinking about talking about some other series in the meantime while we all wait. I honestly just kinda wanted a break from the element videos. Seemed a bit repetitive to me after thinking about it a a bit. I’ll probably work on it soon because I want to get it finished, but that’s the reason I haven’t really been focusing on that, wanted to talk about a few other things.
They have probably been working on a single Spyro game for all this time. It’ll all be worth it in the end. I hope that the Spyro 4 trailer is released alongside or integrated into CTRumble. Spyro has shown up in more ActiBlizz social media posts lately, so they are obviously planning something. It could even tie into a potential intercontenuniy crossover for Spyro 4. I’ve never been more hyped for a game I know nothing concrete about.

And there’s the dark mirror universe level in Skylanders Trap Team. Any Skylander can be taken to that level. That means that Spyro did go to another universe in Skylanders.
If you know a bit about the two franchises, it really isn’t that complicated. Don’t feel bad about mentioning Skylanders! It’s part of the lore! I personally like to think that all the Spyro games are in the same timeline. (Including Skylanders even if that does mean the final Spyro game is Skylanders Imaginators.) Just like CTR, Spyro and some of his universe's characters along a Spyro-themed level can appear in CTRB, and now that the Multiverse is canon in Crash since It's About Time, they way they would introduce Spyro is compared to which character will join Spyro, infinite. Also, it would be nice to see Spyro-verse skins for Spyro. Still, Spyro as a guest in another Crash game, again.
From what I understand, the setting for Crash Team Rumble is that it's an in-universe video game, at least according to one of the loading screens from the Crash Team Rumble beta. The loading screen suggested that Crash, Coco and Tawna were playing it in the ending of Crash 4. So the reason for Spyro's inclusion in the in-universe game, would be because whoever developed the game just felt like including him, presumably knowing the pair have had prior encounters? It's not exactly the most exciting answer, but Crash Team Rumble does seem to be oddly kind of meta.
I think that Spyro's inclusion is going to coincide with the announcement of Spyro 4. After all, Spyro in Crash Team Rumble was a cross promotion for the PC and Switch ports of Reignited.

I think it's going to be the Reignited version of Spyro, they pretty much nailed his design and why would TfB change it? Also, I've seen gameplay of CT Rumble, and it just looks like a mess, and looks so repetitive. So I personally don't care too much if Spyro is playable because I won't be buying the game anyway, but at least people will recognize Spyro a little more, and hopefully will push sales for a new Spyro game. As a Spyro fan I can't wait for them to finally announce a new game, they must know by now that people already know about it. And I swear if Crash gets another game next year before Spyro I will be pretty pissed off lol BTW, they're gonna want to use the Reignited model cos they wouldn't want to confuse fans with all these different Spyros, they basically want to advertise Spyro in CTR, and if they use any other design, it just wouldn't make much sense.
