    Well you faired much better than I did....I used the same recipe as you but 90% of mine broke getting them out of the molds. I was beyond frustrated as I tried so hard to be gentle but they fell apart so easily.......which is why I was seeking out vids like yours and I couldn’t believe how well you did..kudos!

      harmony331000 did you add PVA glue? I used a Anita's Tacky Glue, I wonder if that made a difference?

      old comment but you can try dental stone/flow stone/dental plaster as it's much stronger than plaster of paris.

    Hi. Thanks for tutorial. I am trying to stick these motifs on thermocol. Can you advise on what to use to make this happen?

    • @CurioByBSpokeDesigns

      That's a good question. Any solvent based adhesive that doesn't react with the thermocol/polystyrene

    Do you think you could use the Plaster of Paris in a larger silicone mold - size 8" x 3"?

    • @CurioByBSpokeDesigns
      @CurioByBSpokeDesigns  4 роки тому +3

      Yes, I can't see why there would be any problem

    Do you paint these with Gesso prior adding color Acrylics or applying them to your art piece?

    what is the glitter blower called and where could one purchase one?

    • @CurioByBSpokeDesigns
      @CurioByBSpokeDesigns  2 роки тому +1

      It's just called a glitter blower or glitter pump and I got it from a local craft shop. They are also used in cake decorating.

    how do you finish these pieces? do you add a sealant?

  • @lzrd8460

    Using acrylic caulking that has some silicon in it is much easier and not expensive. Using plaster of Paris to make objects looks too frail.
