Yes I have my two years and I just bought one for my daughter because she stays in the apartment and she has two little girls so I know for a fact she can really use it...
Mine came in today. It is amazing how much dirt this machine gets out of clothes. My first load I tried the shirts that were awful. The water was dark brown when it finished the wash cycle before the rinse and my shirts were cleaned better than I ever saw. The spin dryer is amazing. Before, when handwashing and wringing out my shirts, they would take overnight to dry. With the spin dryer, they were fully dry and ready to wear within an hour. As a tip, and this takes a bit of practice, if you load the spin dryer carefully and distribute the wet clothing carefully and not just toss them in the tub, the dryer will not bounce around like it's break dancing when it starts and when the spin gets fully up to speed, you'll hear nothing but a soft hum and the machine will be standing still like the dryer isn't even running. Thanks for this video, it was what prompted me to get one.
@@embracethebright1587 That's a good idea. I usually do a full rinse in the washer part, but I add little soap to the wash cycle so may be able to get away with that. It'd save water and a whole step.

I have been using a portable washer/spinner for a few years now. I love it!❤ My son and I live in Florida(hot weather😅) and we change clothes a lot in a day. You have to drain while you’re spinning., the hose needs to hang lower than the washer. otherwise the water is sitting in the bottom of the washer. Also stagnant water will makes the washer stink. I generally tilt drain after the last load and Keep the lid up for a day.
@topher316 It does not actually dry. It does spin so thoroughly that it doesn’t take long to dry afterwards. I would wash, rinse, and then spin. It’s just me so my clothes aren’t too dirty.

I'm 63 and my first real washing machine was a full sized twin tub like this. Spin dryers shake less if you distribute the weight of the clothes more evenly in the spinner i.e. don't ball them up but spread them out evenly around the spinner. The spinner bearings also last longer. I find putting lighter clothes on hangers and hanging them up in my shower overnight is usually long enough for them to dry plus less wrinkles so less ironing. I tend only to use my dryer for larger items such as towels and bedclothes to reduce my bill and carbon emmissions.
I just ordered mine, today. Amazon states the "mild" setting is for delicates (i.e. underwear and bras). I'm just wary of the spin cycle. Not only this particular model, but, several model's spinning mechanisms burn out very quickly. Perhaps they're adding too many clothes and the motor can't handle the weight? I dunno. I can fill it up using the shower head that detaches. I recently had my laundry stolen from the complex laundry room. That is how I came to discover these amazing products. I have this exact machine and I love it!! My only limitation is the space I have on my drying rack. I can only put two loads worth on my rack. I put mine in my bathtub so that I can fill it with the hand held shower head and drain it directly into the tub.
I almost bought this washer but it seemed to double the work of doing laundry, so I just saved up some cash bought a regular washer and dryer . Although this washer is really great for living spaces that don’t have washer dryer connections.
Diamond What's a washer and dryer connection? In the UK appliances can plug in to any outlet, we don't need special outlets for certain appliances as we have a sensible voltage at all outlets. The only connection needed is a cold water one, our washers heat their own water unlike US top load machines. Amazing that the US is still using laundry technology from a century ago.
Thanks for this video young lady. . I live in a small apartment in Illinois. I'm 67 years old. I'm getting one of these!! I'll save money and my hands. I've been doing nearly all my clothes by hand. It's time consuming and very bad for my hands. Thanks for covering everything so well. Great video.
Diamond, FABULOUS informative review. Most laundry products generate a lot of foam in the washer so be careful about adding too much into your wash. You can use white vinegar to break down soap foam residue so the build up doesn't cause your clothes to be crunchy, depending on the amount of clothes in the wash, 1-2 tblsp will do. NO, your clothes won't smell like vinegar. White Vinegar help to soften towels in the final rinse. Spin your towels about 2 - 3 mins because the faster the towels dry, the softer they will be especially if you're not using a heat dryer. If you have IKEA in your area, grab a LACK side Table, $7.99, very sturdy to hold the washer and get a rubber Nubby welcome door mat at the bargain store. Put the rubber mat on the Table while washing and spinning clothes, the rubber mat will grip the table and lessen the movement of the washer as it washes. Also muffles vibration of machine if you have neighbors you don't want to disturb. Thanks for your review. Happy laundry days.😇
Hi Diamond, your review is a pleasure to watch. Yes, the welcome doormat works because of the thousands of rubber nubs that clean your shoes. I sit my PANDA mini washer on the mat when I wash really delicate items. The doormat grips the feet of the washer.
Girl thanks so much for sharing. My apartment doesn't have a washer and dryer hookup. and as you know doing laundry is HELLA work. let alone hauling it all down to the laundromat back and forth. I am sooo excited to try this now!! Thanks for sharing!!
I have the zeny looks the same works fantastic I recently got a larger one you roll to the sink but still use this for delicates and to just spin out the water for fast drying who ever made this is a genius!
Mines still working like a champ!!!! Love it. Mine is a Zeny brand. I use a bucket to fill it. Standard is regular clothes. Mines identical to yours. I put mine in my bathtub.
I know I'm late catching this video a few years old, just checking on reviews and opinions because I just ordered one of these machines! Very good demonstration.
The house burned a few years ago and I moved into the hay barn. Four years later and I ordered one of those washer/spin dryers. I'd been using the kitchen sink up until now or going to town. Thank you for the video.
@@diamondingram the barn had already been partly converted to a tiny house and audio/video production studio complete with Green Screen. A few months later, I had a mild stroke, but I recovered nicely. The little washer gizmo will help to take life easier. Thank you very much for responding!
Now i want one I live in apartment... with laundry facility But... when I just not up to doing many loads and my teen needs one or two things the night before school this would be awesome And perfect for hand wash only items. I wish full size washers spun clothes better like the water extractor on this one. Thanks for sharing I’d probably have to rinse twice. Oh and the bonus is you CAN soak your items if you want With laundromat style washers ya can’t. So yes thanks. I’d probably put it in my kitchen and put it on the counter and hook it up to the sink Hot water on towels and sheets is just a must. Thanks again for highlighting this
My only tip is to add some kind of waterproof board enough to cover the foot of ur machine, so water doesnt get into ur carpet. This stuff spills alot of water
😊Thank you. I have been searching for someone who does realistic load reviews. It's basically been one sheet one towel reviews up until your video. With the touch of enthusiasm and sprinkle of really good energy this was very nice review.
just got mine, the other day, and trying it out now. thanks for this video, i like to check and make sure i'm doing everything right. great demonstration!!! i bought the purple one, cause it was my color, and the whole unit was extra cute, and i needed it.
i'm old school, and didn't mind "wranching" things out, on my hands, like my momma, but this lil thing here, works out perfect, for my items. so you've washed jeans also? i only have a few pair, but wanted to know, if it was okay to wash them, in there, too? i'm very proud of my purchase, and i also just watched your updated video, which was informative, as well. i'm waiting on my lil lint catcher, that must be coming from timbukto, cause it ain't made it here yet, and i ordered it, at the same time, as the washer!!! LOL keep up the great videos, i'll make sure i subscribe.
Great demonstration. The portable washer I'm using is a wonder washer which you have to hand crank from laundry alternative and a full size spin dryer. It's easier to rinse in a tote instead of the wonder washer. Now I'm wondering if An electric portable washer would be easier but I think that depends on access to filling it. With the wonder washer it's easy to fill and empty because I use it in the tub. ( It's great for those with no space for the electric portable because it can be stored in a tote.)With the electric washer the toting water back and forth could be a hassle but still better than going to the laundry mat all the time.
I just wanted to say I think you have a really nice personality, I don’t even need one of these but I honestly kept watching because it was entertaining
Make sure your apartment allows them. Mine does not allow them because someone caused a flood that did damage ,plus they plug up your pipes, best to put an old nylon stocking over the hose when draining to prevent lint from plugging up drain.
OK, thanks, the spinner reminds me of the spinner in a gym. After you use the pool you throw your cloth in the spinner. Almost dry. Yes, I like that it not only goes from side to side, but also like you said, it flips the fabrics as well!
You need to spin all of your dirty water out of your clothes.add water to get dirty water out.then .do your refilling of water and softener and go through the spinner again.I had a washer like this in the 1960s called Hoover. It was the best Frist washer and spin dryer.
Thank you ! I have one just came in yesterday and i was going to buy an adapter for it but you gave me a idea. Now I can make sure myself and kiddos have clean clothes everyday.
I just moved into a new studio apartment and I hate going to the laundromat. I didn't even know this existed! Definitely will need to get one! Love your review!
Liked & subbed. Very thorough review. Thank you. I have severe repetitious tendinitis and arthritis in my hands now. I can’t hand wash and wring my clothes out anymore this is a godsend
Diamond wow thank you for your response 🤗 I also watched your very thorough six months update. Which is why I am ordering it tomorrow morning. Thank you again
I have the UK model, from Amazon (UK) for less than £60. It's great for its size. To help fill use a cut down length of garden hose with a tap adaptor, if that's possible where you are. If it's available use a 2 in 1 detergent and conditioner. One other thing. If you have a bath tub, try and find a bath seat, the type that fits across the tub for those who can't get out without help.
I know I’m late 😆... with [regular] twin tub machines what you do is after the wash cycle you take the soapy clothes and put in the spin dry basket to spin the soap out. Then you fill the washer side with clean rinse water [add fabric softener if you like] and move the clothes back over from the spin dry basket and when that’s done rinsing, do the spin dry cycle again and voila. Putting the clean rinse water immediately after washing without spin drying the extra soap out could give you issues with your skin or when you put the clothes to dry they would dry kinda crusty 🙂
Tip: If you add fabric softener to your wash it will take away the soap suds. I love these portable washers they are life savers for those who can't lug huge loads down the to laundromat outside especially during inclement weather and when you are sick too. I hope to be getting one asap. Thanks for your demo.
Omg thanks for your review. I got mind a week ago. I still went to the laundry to wash all my towels and comforter. But that’s because I had so many. But I’m going to def be washing them in my machine now(towels) I work out at home too. This thing is amazing
I have a machine very similar but not exactly the same and you probably figured it out already by now but whenever you use the spinner you should set your dial to drain and put the hose down into a tub, bucket or your shower or whatever that way when it's spinning the water out of your clothes that water can drain out because only a little bit of the water will sit in the reservoir under your machine and once that small reservoir is full all that drain water will just sit in the bottom of your spinner with your clothes sitting in all that dirty wet drain water so it's better if you let it drain out while you're using your spinner so that it can drain your clothes better because if the water is in the bottom or fills up your spinner side then you're defeating the purpose of spinning your clothes really because they'll never get dry at all with a lot of drain water sitting in that spinner side obviously.
This is what we use in the philippines way back in the 80's. We had our first washer/spinner in 1983. The spinner is not to actually dry the clothes but to wring out all the water in the clothes so it will dry out completely in less than an hour when you hang it.
Diamond Have they been out that long? Are you for real? These have been around since the 1940's. In the UK people used larger versions before moving over to front load machines in the 1970's. It's impossible to buy full size top load machines here now, but these portable machines are available for camping, boats etc
I love the way you talk hahah so adorable! Thank for the video! Im moving to an apartament upstairs and I really not in the mood to go all the time to landromat . Im gonna get one!
@@diamondingram one question that I have that I haven't seen answered, when it drains is it a pump that is draining it, or is it just gravity taking the water out?
I know this was a while ago now, but I tried all these things that you are doing, the bucket filing, lifting to drain, forget it, lol. Put it in the bathtub, unscrew the shower head and the inlet hose fits on that, it's way nicer to just let it fill on it's own, then you can just leave the drain hose down and let it go down the drain.
Just a Heads up. The spin cap (The plastic cap you put on top of the clothes) Is supposed to be actually on, the clothes them self. That will level them out and get rid of how noisy it is when it first starts.
For more efficient rinsing you should spin the clothes before rinsing them. Spinning removes the majority of the soapy water, rinsing gets rid of the rest.
I have a question, does this thing small enough to put in a regular car trunk?? My dorm doesn’t allow washer and all packages go to mail room before we can pick up, I would have to have it sent to my friend’s address if I order one. Thank you.

about 8 month ago driving home i saw a single tub dumped in the street, worked! yesterday I saw one of the kuppet ones (well i think it is, it has the same blue bling knobs), only snag doesnt spin or drain but washes, guessing as both motors not working that its a power issue, need to find a wiring diagram....
I like that it's not super loud when it spins. Some of these machines and I've been reading and watching reviews all day some of them or so loud a sound like airplanes
I am thinking of getting one since i live in apt. and paying almost $3 a washer and dryer i am more confused on the softner. some ppl don't put softner some do . so when rinsing do you put the softner or after rinse pour more water on rinse and put softner?

I was super skeptical about this one, but I can safely say, you sold it to me. Love it! Thanks for your great review!
You should be able to get a longer hose at Home depot
I love my water all these are almost dry
Girl thanks so much for sharing. My apartment doesn't have a washer and dryer hookup. and as you know doing laundry is HELLA work. let alone hauling it all down to the laundromat back and forth. I am sooo excited to try this now!! Thanks for sharing!!
I have the zeny looks the same works fantastic I recently got a larger one you roll to the sink but still use this for delicates and to just spin out the water for fast drying who ever made this is a genius!
Def. getting one and I hate washing, perfect for my fabric, sewing items and yarn creationd like hats and scarved to get clean before i sell them
I love how you gave us a review, demonstration, and a reaction all in one ❤️
Mines still working like a champ!!!! Love it. Mine is a Zeny brand. I use a bucket to fill it. Standard is regular clothes. Mines identical to yours. I put mine in my bathtub.
I know I'm late catching this video a few years old, just checking on reviews and opinions because I just ordered one of these machines! Very good demonstration.
Thanks for the review and showing the whole process. I’m considering one of these for university
Awesome video planning to get the 17 pound one thanks for the review and by the way you are beautiful
Thank you for this review!!!! I would have loved this washer when my son was little and we lived in a condo with no washer!!! Amazing!
This would be a great tool to teach kids how to do their own laundry :) (or me 🤣🤣)
Now i want one
I live in apartment... with laundry facility
But... when I just not up to doing many loads and my teen needs one or two things the night before school this would be awesome
And perfect for hand wash only items. I wish full size washers spun clothes better like the water extractor on this one.
Thanks for sharing
I’d probably have to rinse twice.
Oh and the bonus is you CAN soak your items if you want
With laundromat style washers ya can’t.
Guys...make sure to watch ALL of her reviews on this washer. Every one of them has great tips!
just got mine, the other day, and trying it out now. thanks for this video, i like to check and make sure i'm doing everything right. great demonstration!!! i bought the purple one, cause it was my color, and the whole unit was extra cute, and i needed it.
i'm old school, and didn't mind "wranching" things out, on my hands, like my momma, but this lil thing here, works out perfect, for my items. so you've washed jeans also? i only have a few pair, but wanted to know, if it was okay to wash them, in there, too? i'm very proud of my purchase, and i also just watched your updated video, which was informative, as well. i'm waiting on my lil lint catcher, that must be coming from timbukto, cause it ain't made it here yet, and i ordered it, at the same time, as the washer!!! LOL keep up the great videos, i'll make sure i subscribe.
👍🏾for the pizza being done
Great demonstration. The portable washer I'm using is a wonder washer which you have to hand crank from laundry alternative and a full size spin dryer. It's easier to rinse in a tote instead of the wonder washer. Now I'm wondering if An electric portable washer would be easier but I think that depends on access to filling it. With the wonder washer it's easy to fill and empty because I use it in the tub. ( It's great for those with no space for the electric portable because it can be stored in a tote.)With the electric washer the toting water back and forth could be a hassle but still better than going to the laundry mat all the time.
I just use a bucket to fill mine. It's pretty easy
I just wanted to say I think you have a really nice personality, I don’t even need one of these but I honestly kept watching because it was entertaining
I wash then spin the dirty water out for about 1 min then poor clean water in the spiner then spin for a few min
Make sure your apartment allows them. Mine does not allow them because someone caused a flood that did damage ,plus they plug up your pipes, best to put an old nylon stocking over the hose when draining to prevent lint from plugging up drain.
Aww! Bummer. So far every apartment I’ve lived at didn’t mind them.
I use it anyway just careful not to be careless when filling it. One stupid person makes it bad for others.
a lot of ppl do this in their tub/showers with a shower sprayer. drain it, fill it one place. works really great!
My daughter just bought one of these so I sent her this video to help her work it! Great job. Thank you!
You just blessed me with facts on these washers !!! I just got one and i was so hesitant to use mine but now that i watched you’re video I’m reassured
I just moved into a new studio apartment and I hate going to the laundromat. I didn't even know this existed! Definitely will need to get one! Love your review!
One tip... you actually need to have the drain on when its spinning because it actually drains the water
Stumbled on this by accident. This will work great in a bus conversion! Thanks for the awesome review!
Kathie Grimsley that’s the same reason i’m looking at this machine😂 for a skoolie
Diamond Oh my gosh thank you so much you’re so awesome!
@Sheree Boulton This is as close as I can get. LEISURE DIRECT 230V TWIN PORTABLE WASHING MACHINE FOR STUDENTS + SPIN FUNCTION. Hope it helps.
Thanks for the demo on this, this little washer is pretty neat.💜👍
Tip: If you add fabric softener to your wash it will take away the soap suds. I love these portable washers they are life savers for those who can't lug huge loads down the to laundromat outside especially during inclement weather and when you are sick too. I hope to be getting one asap. Thanks for your demo.
Do you stay in an upstairs apartment? I was wondering because we do and I wanted to know if it’s going to piss people off downstairs?
Omg thanks for your review. I got mind a week ago. I still went to the laundry to wash all my towels and comforter. But that’s because I had so many. But I’m going to def be washing them in my machine now(towels) I work out at home too. This thing is amazing
Thank You for the review😊...I didn't know they exist...You did a great job and very Thorough 😊
I have no idea why Im watching portable washers atm, but Im glad I did. Great video and review :)
When it’s spinning I would put it on drain so the water leaks out.
@@diamondingram yes. Then in the mid 90's we had the two in one.
Diamond Have they been out that long? Are you for real? These have been around since the 1940's. In the UK people used larger versions before moving over to front load machines in the 1970's. It's impossible to buy full size top load machines here now, but these portable machines are available for camping, boats etc
Got a blue one today, thx for your in depth review
I'm gonna move in a couple months and I have no guarantee that the apartment will fit a washer or dryer so I looking into this.
love it. life saver no matter if you a broke college student or jus got your first place , this helps sm. ❤️🙏
Oh absolutely! ❤️
This was nice and thorough 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😀😀😀
I love the way you talk hahah so adorable! Thank for the video! Im moving to an apartament upstairs and I really not in the mood to go all the time to landromat . Im gonna get one!
This was great! Thanks very much. I'm moving into an apartment without a washer/dryer. I think this will be a viable solution.
@@diamondingram one question that I have that I haven't seen answered, when it drains is it a pump that is draining it, or is it just gravity taking the water out?
Thank you for posting this video it helped me out a lot
This is the best review! You explain everything step by step. I’m getting the purple one. Thank you for making such great video
Thank you.
Yes! You may have to lay it down but it should fit. 🤗
This was a very educational video. I love the thoroughness of your review. I will be purchasing this product
i got one after our laundry cost went up to $8 a week for 2 light loads..i also can do my 2 pr jeans..and full sheets and pillow cases...my water bill only went up $5 for month..beats $32!
I just purchased mine today, I cant wait to get it. Im so impatient ive been waiting FOREVER to get one. I purchased the insurance as well, so i guess its just a matter of time.
I did lowkey buy it because of your 3 reviews. Thank you for being so honest about the pros and cons. It gives me an idea on how to care for it.
Great for being on holidays, rather than sharing a washer with strangers.
Thank you so much for this. You were very detailed with this review. I just purchased the purple one. I can't wait. I so mad I didn't think to search portable washers before now considering I live in an apartment. This will get me through the in between trips to the laundry mat. And it looks like it won't use so much water that my landlord will notice. lol
Yes got mine today instead of Tuesday which I was expecting. Quickly did my laundry and omg couldn't believe how dirty the water was
@@diamondingram oh these were the clothes lol
about 8 month ago driving home i saw a single tub dumped in the street, worked! yesterday I saw one of the kuppet ones (well i think it is, it has the same blue bling knobs), only snag doesnt spin or drain but washes, guessing as both motors not working that its a power issue, need to find a wiring diagram....
I just ordered one of these! I'm so excited to finally be able to do my laundry in my own apartment! Thank you!
Diamond I got my washer today, and lemme tell you BEST PURCHASE OF 2018! THANK YOU! ❤️
Diamond hell yeah!! It’s almost fun to do laundry now 😂
I need to buy 1. this will be great for my apartment. and I wont have to keep going to the laundry mat with my daughter. thanks for this review.
I like that it's not super loud when it spins. Some of these machines and I've been reading and watching reviews all day some of them or so loud a sound like airplanes
While it's spinning you can also have it draining at the same time...it's safe & will have your clothes even "dryer".
I am thinking of getting one since i live in apt. and paying almost $3 a washer and dryer i am more confused on the softner. some ppl don't put softner some do . so when rinsing do you put the softner or after rinse pour more water on rinse and put softner?
Diamond Thank You :)
Thanks young lady i watch like lot video before I found yours and you gave me more information then the others and I live in a small trailer and no car thanks very much
Love mine thanks you
