  • Hello folks! I decided to make a video on how to use a, “Costway” Washing Machine as several people have asked me how they work. Mine was given to me used by a neighbor and I’m so thankful to have it. But since it was used it did not come with any instructions and when searching the internet I only found one video. I mainly had to figure it out on my own. So, I thought I’m sure others are wondering how easy or hard or just plain...how do they work? I hope you enjoyed this video and it helps you decide if one is right for you and your situation or not. If you found this helpful or just enjoyed the video, give it a, “Like” and just why not go ahead and, “Subscribe “ Sunny Daze with Dawn saying..no more, “Dirty laundry” hahahahaha🤪👍🏻💖

      Hi Lisa, thank you so much for watching and commenting. When I was looking for help as to how to use mine, I did not find any thorough videos. So, that was the inspiration for mine, to show every step from start to finish. Thank you for the compliments too👍🏻😁. Are you thinking of getting a small washer?

    Well, well, well....out of the few vids I watched, you are the only one to explain why the plastic insert goes on top of the clothes when spin drying. Thank you! Another tip I appreciate is saving your cold "rinse" water for your darks. The other tip I appreciate is leaving the water in the washing tub side so when dry spinning it weighs down the machine to help prevent it from wobbling and walking. I saw where some ppl used a rubber bath mat too. Good job Lady, you are a joy to watch👍

I know when I got this with no instructions and tried to find a video to show me what to do.and I only found one, I knew I had to help if I could. I’m so glad it was helpful for you. Yes, saving that water that is clean and a bit sudsy is so helpful for the next load! Good idea about the mat. Thanks for that tip! Thank you also for watching and commenting. I appreciate it. Holey Molly I bought the exact machine and I love it. Took it out of the box set it in the tub and was washing my first load in ten minutes. I also use a shower extinction hose. I caution on the smaller loads as to not over load the machine therefore I have less tangled items.i run my cord up over shower rod for safety. This machine does a great job.paid less than $200. Soft is for delicate clothes but I see no difference in the agitation. It does go in one direction the least amount of time, but it is still the same as far as its strength. (Hope that makes sense.) To prevent clothes from twisting up, you can place them in a mesh laundry bag.

I found that the bottom part of the drain hose had a crack where it was underneath the washer. I taped up the crack with electrical tape and started using the washer in the bathtub just in case it still leaked. Perhaps it is your hose. I sure hope it is a simple fix. I hope this helps💖

      As long as you have a power supply, water supply and a place to let the water drain out, you could use it anywhere. Of course, “Safety First”!

  • @robincampochiaro7741
    @robincampochiaro7741 Рік тому +5

    No no no no, you are not supposed to start another wash load while using the spin dryer at the same time, you can burn out the engine. You have to switch to drain when using the spin dryer, you are not supposed press down on the close in the spin dryer and you are putting to much in the spin dryer. You can't over load the washer, you also have to be careful with the cord, its too close to the ground. Bring the cord and extension up behind the unit and over your shower curtain rod this helps to keep water away from the cord, you don't want to get electrocuted. I hope I helped with some suggestions.

      I would think the hose needs to be lower than the washer as gravity will help the water drain. If the hose has to go up and over the side of the tub, then down, this will stop the drawing process at some point..

      Most of them have drain pumps. If yours does it would not have a problem with going over the side of the tub.

    Why do you have the hoses in both inlets if you fill it with the shower head?

    • @sunnydazewithdawn350

      I usually keep the hose inside of the washer when I am not using the washer. Since I am using the washer in the video, I needed to put the hose somewhere, so I just put it on the inlet openings👍🏻😜🤪

      Hello, the clothes still remain a little damp. They will need to hang dry. But the spinner works so well that it doesn’t take that much heat to dry them unless the material is thicker like towels or blue jeans. Thank you for watching👍🏻😁

    • @sunnydazewithdawn350
      @sunnydazewithdawn350  Рік тому +1

      I'm not sure of the pounds. The washer side will take quite a bit of clothing but I try not to fill it up all the way as it will agitate better when it is not quite so full. I know I have filled up the spinner to the top with soaked clothes and it will do a fantastic spin job! I'd say for a man perhaps four or five pairs of jeans.

    • @sunnydazewithdawn350
