It's definitely a slow process but it works. Not as fast as the glitch in DS2 with the nodes in the last room or the infinite drops in DS3 going backwards and forwards in the loading areas or elevators in DS3 but for someone who's desperate about money or ammo it definitely helps. This is particularly useful if you don't have ammo in any of your guns, just go and fill a cap node in a bench and boom, full clip of any weapon you upgrade.

That was legit bothering me. I keep them all together.
This works and I'm doing it in the same room as you. But I've ran into another glitch in this room. There are certain spots on the floor that when you drop the landmine and then switch it back to ammo it drops completely through the floor. It's somewhat random and makes this process drag on a little longer. Just wanted to throw a heads up in case anyone else runs into this issue.

I found that glitch yesterday. If you keep them all on the grated area, then that doesn't happen.

Anyone know if you can do this glitch on a plasma cutter only run? When going for that trophy.
No, but you can run the plasma cutter to almost empty then use a node to buy CAP and you'll refill the magazine for the plasma cutter. free 9-20 (depending on current CAP) plasma cutter rounds per node.

It is better if you also have the tier under the reload on the left and damage on the right. That grants you two extra ammo increases AND an increased capacity of a maximum of 175 instead of 120. You always pay 2500 bucks anyway.

I'm nowhere near maxing out on power nodes, but if it happens, then I'm guessing i will just have a stock pile of useless nodes.
After you store all your items, what do you do in the bench ?

Step 1:
Move all your weapons to you're stash except the pulse rifle and sell everything you have because you need at least 10k/15k money for the glitch 15k better imo..
Step 2:
Go too the bench but be sure to have spare nodes doesn't matter how much because the amount of money you going to make makes basically node amount infinite..
If you don't have nodes then the 10k/15k money comes in play again 15k better imo.. Detach all the nodes on your weapons and rig to obtain nodes and the detach fee is 5k hence the money..
Step 3:
Buy ONLY THE PINK upgrades for the pulse rifle but 1 AT A TIME and CLOSE the bench "this is the part where players make mistakes" when bought aim to the ground and use ALT FIRE the secondary fire mechanism which every weapon has.. So buy pink upgrade for the plasma rifle leave bench and aim to the ground and alt fire which fires a PROXIMITY MINE on the place you aim.. Press again the same button now the MINE you shot turns back in to AMMO but DON'T pick it up shoot you're entire mag empty usually it is 2 to 3 mines higher the upgrades is ofcourse more ammo more mines anyways, after you're mag is empty go to bench buy 1 pink upgrade again leave bench again aim to the ground alt fire you mag empty press same button again to turn the mines back in to ammo on the ground don't pick it up go back to bench rinse and repeat.. If you bought all the pink upgrades DETACH again the pulse rifle which gives you all your nodes back and rinse and repeat till your money is spend pick everthing up sell it and repeat the whole process untill you think it's enough.. I I'm not sure why but in my game if I stay in the same place for too long the necromorphs would spawn from every corner and stay lying in the ground to catch me

@Effectual12 i was just doing the glitch for the past hour or two hours before going to bed. It still works. Need to shoot as a mine explosive first, then switch it to ammo with the same button you use to plant the mine.

Lol I was just mad because I hadn't beat it on impossible yet and completely forgot about the "CHEATS". I also have a 9 year old who tried playing but was 1- terrified and 2- is brainwashed by fortnight and couldn't figure out where to go. He was over lvl 300 in fortnight though so I guess that's good lmao.

Ill never deter my child from "trying"... but not on my save file lol.
