Hello Bruce! I agree more than 100% with your comments and ,as I told you before, I admire your love and passion for this amazing instrument and feeling. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻…..and warm up exercises are really good
Hey Bruce, great work! How long did it take to get the blowing and squeezing automatic? I’m 3 weeks on my pipes now, I’ve done 7 months on the practice chanter.
First of all congratulations on this milestone! ive started playing on a goose with a regular chanter about 2 weeks after my first notes on a practice chanter so actually, i dont know.. took me 6 months to get to the pipes but by then it allready was 75% automaticly.. i geuss it will take about half a year or so?
Thanks Bruce, regular practice is crucial. I’m on about 330 hours now. It’s a big commitment but so worthwhile! Great job on Mist Covered Mountains in your competition video, very atmospheric and moving performance 😊
thank you very much, dailt practice is key. im aiming at 90 minutes a day but i understand thats not possible for most of us.. Im spreading my sessions over the day, 30 min in the morning before work and 45 to 60 after work @@1927bluesrob
Could be my howling tinnitus but it sounds a bit flat to me. Your tempo is good but the pitch is just a little off. Did you jump from a practice chanter to a set of highland pipes or did you stop at a set of small pipes in the interim?
