Kirby, I said it back in December and I’ll say it again. You are well on your way to becoming the first American Hombre Habano. Your contribution to the Habanos community has been truly remarkable.
@@frankynonos3793 I completely disagree with you. Cuban Trinidad’s are WAY better than New World Trinidad’s. The best cigars I’ve personally ever had have all been aged Havanas. Now with that being said I also love and enjoy New World Cigars as well. Nicaragua, Dominican Republic and Honduras are producing some truly unbelievable cigars. However Havana cigars have always been and will always be my favourite. It all comes down to preference. We all have our own opinions. To me there is nothing better than a vintage Havana. Again I absolutely love New World Cigars as well. Havanas just happen to be my favourite. And Lastly I think Kirby Allison is a first class gentleman. I love the brands he partners with. All of the brands Kirby partners with are all about Quality, Craftsmanship and Tradition. Three things that are extremely important to me. You are entitled to your opinion though.
The first time I smoked a cigar was a Cuban one with my dear father . This episode reminded me a little bit of that remarkable moment and core memory. Thank you, Kirby.
Ey Kirby my guy, didn't see you had posted! Good to you back at it and back with Eddie aswell... hope all is good, and your smoke lounge it being well used. Cheers my good man
Another great presentation Kirby! Thanks again. I await eagerly for each new video on cigar culture more than your fashion coverage now. The story of the diplomatic Trinidad is legend that never grows old or boring. I am lucky to have access to acquiring them at a reasonable price in my country. However for those on a budget who may not be so lucky to acquire them, give the Montecristo Especial 1 or 2 a try. They are the same vitola as the diplomatic Trinidad and Cohiba Lanceros at a third of the price. And according to an interesting article written by James Suckling in Cigar Aficionado published in 1993, it was identified the Montecristo Especial was preferred over Cohiba by Francisco Padron, Director of Cubatabaco, who admitted that he was slightly disappointed in the quality of Cohiba Lanceros and that Montecristo's Especial seemed to be better made.
Consider me uneducated, but I never realised the prices of Trinidads and particularly Cohibas. Sheesh! Very interesting interview, makes me want to light a cigar (and I don't smoke cigars).
Kirby, I would appreciate any tips you have on traveling with cigars, cigar cutters, lighters, etc. As such an aficionado of premium cigars, I am sure you’ve developed your own personal approach to travel with these various items. I know many people will say to simply leave your lighter at home and buy a cheap one at your destination, however, we both know that using your favorite lighter is a large portion of the pleasure associated with the ritual. It seems like it might make a good subject for a short video on the Chanel. Thanks for all the great content!
The Fundadores is the #1 on my cigar list I want to smoke but I’ve never seen it offered in singles or packs. Can’t buy a box yet because I’m still new to cigars.
Try the Montecristo Especial No1. It's the same vitola and size as the Cohiba Lancero and the diplomatic Trinidad. It was also launched in the same year as the Trinidad in 1969. Moreover it's the only other existing Cuban Lancero aside Cohiba from the same factory, Laguito No1. An under rated, much more affordable cigar that can age well in 40 years!
In my humble opinion i think Kirby should lose the tie, his outfits would look less dated and more casually modern. Either way Kirby is the prince of elegance.

You're very kind! Thank you! The opportunity to do the work is a true privilege!
Absolutely true

Yes I've been looking for a good price on them but the Cohiba siglo can cost $500 a stick. And same with habanos. There's Cuban loues I'd check it out
Thank you for these great videos!
Trinidad doesn’t seek out consumers. You have to seek out Trinidad.
Well said!

Kirby would have played a fantastic Nick Carraway in the Great Gatsby. He should get into acting.
