GameStop always try to hustle you on game and controller insurance. I never pay it anywhere. I told the last employee I got this controller for free by not ever buying the protection program.
Got my digital ps5 last week love this console but it is true that games in the psn store are usually 70 bucks there are sales but you have to wait, if you have the disc version you can buy games at a cheaper price from gamestop, Walmart, Amazon etc etc. At the end of the day if you're happy with the digital ps5 then that's all great, I've been all digital for a while I only had like 2 or 3 physical games on my ps4 the rest were all digital.
Wait precious wait...it makes zero business sense to bring out their games when hardly anyone has the ps5.. thats why they are holding back..makes sense no????
I've been having similar experiences with probably the same GameStops over the past several years as well. I had an issue trying to get assassin's creed valhalla recently at gamestop where I ended up losing my $10 in reward points and the best the store could offer was for me to call their reward call center to get the issue reversed and offered no help at all. So I got the points added back and bought the game off amazon instead and paid $5 more but it was worth it to avoid gamestop.
GameStop makes its money off of physical game sales, especially used. A customer buying an all digital system equates to a revenue stream that’s been largely cut off. That said, I much prefer the disc PS5 because I don’t want to eliminate a method of content delivery. That said, great idea for trading in items to GameStop to use as PSN credit. I never thought of that. 🤔
Physical is almost always cheaper than digital, you only get digital cheaper when they are on sale. Also when the servers goes down, you lose all your games.
i hate people dogging digital games, you buy them once, and you have them for life. they have sales all the freaking time!!! i can't remember going through 3 months without some sort of crazy sale going on. and you can always download demos and play them before you buy them. or just rent them out first from gamefly, and if you like them, then buy the digital version. i've been a digital gamer soley for the last 5 or so years. i've gone through multiple sony consoles, and all i need to do to get my games back is save the save game files onto a usb stick, and redownload the games on my account. that's it.
Bro do you even know, how digital works?, let me explain to you. First of all digital games are not gonna be yours for life like you say, they are gonna be yours until the servers goes down, after that you don't have games, so I will recommend you to switch back to physical if you really want to own your games for the rest of your life.
You posted this video on my Birthday. I just purchased a used ps4 for a 15yr old son who is a Honors' Student last Friday and by Sunday it was dead. Now I'm out $250 from the system and the ps+, now I'm trying to find a ps5 but no luck.
i have digital ps5 with 1tb samsung 980 pro heatsink drive im happy with it i dont mind buying digital games without hassle through game stores!!! basically i have 2tb storage. who cares least yoou got a ps5 its hard to get one!! On PlayStation stores they have some great deals on games sometimes way cheaper then disc
Bro got the ps5 brick edition ☠️. Also, you do what you want with your money, but if I'm honest I agree with the employee, if he refers that you are going to regret because is a only digital, but if that is not the reason then I don't agree, he shouldn't tell you what to buy.
There is a 2 and 4tb ps5 model coming . The 2tb is in 2023 and the 4tb is 2025. With the chip shortage sony is changing the models at least 6 times across the gen. The gen goes till 2032 so buckle up. 😁
You will regret it the employee is right I will never buy an all digital system I still love collecting discs oh and you can watch blurays and 4ks on it why not go disc edition
I only buy 1 game wich is cod and i pre order it digitally so i wouldnt mind digital but i still got ahold of a disc version ps5, i also dont have to worry about space on a ps5 or buying a extended ssd, on the other hand im competitive so i have to buy a pro controller wich are very expensive and a special monitor for 120hz and 1ms respond time.
You've had multiple experiences I understand that but this games ruin your hard drive inside your console and you're buying more consoles because of the elector PS four's Ever doing that again
It’s a digital edition. That’s probably why they said you’d regret it
Definitely. When your only option is the psn store you miss out on a lot of sales
That and u can’t re sell the games if u wanted or return them or that
You also miss games that are not on ps store anymore like deadpool, if you want ps4 games
@@batmanarkham777 why would I want to resell games if I buy a game i plan to keep it doesn't matter of if it's disc or digital
@@dannyrivera8300 only because some do that after they beat the game or that just depends on how you look at tbh Bcs not every one replays games

Brings on ps5 plus all ps5 goodies .. an Xbox X. Game stop : 21 dollars and 22 in store credit.
They’ll throw in an extra 5 cents if you have extra controllers.
