I feel like the moveset catered to the anime boys...but they're all playing Longsword. Meanwhile the ADHD dual blade users are blissfully unaware and just happy that blades go brrrrr haha
OK first of all yes I am autistic second of all I do watch anime every now and then BUT I don’t use duel blades in rise, I use a sword and shield
I only use dual blades because i dont have to worry about combos and its easier to manage a plan

Its all about the mobility. Repositioning while keeping up your dps, balancing your demon/archdemon modes, and forcing yourself to learn proper stamina management. The anime feeling is just a bonus.

I like dual blades because i dont have to worry about combos. All the other weapons you gotta press the right buttons at the right times, but with dual blades i just run at them spamming the same button until they are dead
I just started a few days ago and this is 100% me, combo’s aren’t my thing so I just spam A and B back to back lol it’s carried me through so far🤣
Mood. I started playing Monster Hunter World a few days ago and I chose the Dual Blades cause their moveset was the least intimidating for me lmao

@@joshuacruz5632i mean u have tools to make those fight easier and faster than dual blades im a long sword main but i play graetsword and gun lance and a well time flash bang can make the fight faster using greatsword and gunlance than me using my main longsword.
@@KiotheCloud I play with greatsword and dual blades its just that sometimes fast monsters are too good for greatsword im not too good fighting those with a great sword

I just like the idea of slashing away at my enemies screaming "FIGHT BACK FIGHT BACK" as I go demon mode till my blade go dull or my hunger kicks in.

ADHD, no. Anime, rarely. Like 3 watch sessions a year, even if that.
I like dual blades because I like using reaction time to barely get hit. It's also one of the only weapons that you can put good comfort skills on and still have massive dps

Or Samurai fans thats the case for me i find it funny that the longsword have a stab attack what dont make sense because katana are cutting not thrust weapons

Dual blades has been my main weapon ever since I started playing MH. I started world with dual blades, I started rise with dual blades, and I will start wilds with them as well. And I have never felt more called out lmao. Accurate tho
for me, it's the fact that dps go brrrrr when i have that good multi-hit combo going just itches that part of my brain that likes when numbers go up
Dual blades bc I love using dual blades in dnd, means extra attack. And more DPS, especially when we do the spinny move down the back of the monster. It’s fun!
As an insect glaiver some of the most fun i have is with duel bladers
Jumping all over the place is just even more fun when theres another just as jumpy if not moreso hunter doing it with you

I have adhd and occasionally watch anime but dual blades was the 9th weapon I’ve played in monster hunter and it definitely isn’t my main but something about the hyper aggressiveness and crazy movement just scratches the craziest itch for me.

I just love being able to keep moving and avoid being hit by timed dashes so I can get in as much damage as possible. I like managing my stamina and it keeps my brain busy seeing the numbers and paying attention to the animations so I can keep on cutting with as little damage to me as I can. It also became a joke in my group for me to crouche ask for drugs in the most innocent voice. Gets a laugh from them and that makes me happy, I'm still working on not running out of stamina in the wrong places though lol
I just picked it in rise because I learned it the fastest, and it’s fun being speedy and fast with them. I use the charge blade in iceborn because MH now got me trying all the weapons
I have never been so called out... by something I really can't argue against.
He's completely correct I am indeed a weeb and have adhd AND autism so I agree I love being flashy and powerful from dps attacks

I love larger monsters, I use the demon flight on large monsters as you just do so much damage on them, plus it gives me the feeling of playing as insect glaive (the floor is paying taxes) players without playing insect glaive

Dual Blades have largely been my main since 3, I just love staying mobile and hitting often while being hard to hit myself

280/300 anomaly monsters are so aggressive,so fast,never tired that it's hard to chase them that duals blades are a blessing!

I would've been a Dual Blades main if me and my squad didn't want variety. My brother wanted Hammer, his friend wanted Bow, and his brother wanted Dual Blades. So, I went with the weapon I had an interest before in Generations, the Insect Glaive, before I tried to convince the other 3 to play World with me. I liked mobile weapons, and that weapon allowed me good mobility, and I could stay in the air

I use multiple weapons, Bow for certain annoying monsters, sword and shield and dual blades for small fast monsters, charge blade and long sword for most other enemies.
Y’know, I use the dual blades a LOT, but I’ve never made these connections with it, and now I can’t unsee it. Idk if that’s a good or bad thing lol
i just got into this series, i dont know how to change weapons and am stuck with a longsword... but i am switching to these immediately when i learn how.
I just picked the fastest attacking weapon cause I didn’t want to have to worry about timing my dodges through slow animations

I used the switch axe when i first played rise. But after dabbling into the dual blades and seeing how mich damage it does they became my go to weapon
Me using dual blade for fastness and attack while dodging to.
Me again falling from 300meters , being eaten, get hit untile death , and usually flying away like a ragdoll when failing.

I love the dual blades, but I can’t say for this reason… I though they were fun and fit my preferred play style the best, but now I feel like I picked the most vanilla weapon…

I feel personally attacked, but in my defence, it feels really good when you manage to ride from the head of the monster all the way down to the tip of the tail
I both have ADHD and watch anime. My favourite weapon is Switch Axe with Charge Blade close behind. I actively avoid Dual Blades because i like being able to dodge without worrying about my stamina. I also don't play Rise much. Slower, heavier hitting weapons with a lot of depth are what i gravitate towards. Ever Wild Swung into slinger burst to avoid a Diablos digging, following up with a Morph Sweep punish? I have. It's incredibly disrespectful, and incredibly addicting

Tbf I just like how fast it is, and I don't have to worry about complications that you get with switchaxe and the likes, it's really easy to use and you just gotta focus on your stamina and dodging monster attacks

Yea I'm a dual blades healer with max friendship so I heal everyone and deal dps so it works and I major in wall banging the monster to let everyone else deal as much dos as they can
I like the attack speed and the mobility of the dual blades, didn’t know the slide attack was a reference
I will say the introduction of Wirebugs instead of the automatic jump when you roll has really gotten me having to relearn some things
