Actually Donnie was one of the 2 original guitar players were Slipknot, and then after Paul died he became a touring bassist for the band till 2014 Due to recruiting V man
@Andrew Hollingshead nah donnie came back and played bass live for them for a bit but Jim tracked most or all of Gray Chapters bass

+Anton Khoff truth, Slipknot doesn't get any credit for technical playing ability. Hell, I don't think most people do. as someone who has been playing (seriously) for almost a year. No one gets enough credit. I now realize how good everyone who plays music for a living really is. GREAT JOB!!!

Have you considered using a Orange Rockerverb MKI? That's what Jim uses. He said in the Slipknot Rig Rundown his signature head wasn't as good. He also said he'd probably only use it for backing tracks tracks maybe. Just a though

I love playing this song :D I play it a little different (fingering wise).. But otherwise sounds the same
i can't figure out how is this E string so stable i mean - it doesn't seem to bend so hard as in my case. I use 12' strings but i don't know how to make my strings not to bend so much while picking. Could it be more complex problem with my guitar?
