Silicon is basically sand. It comes in the crude oil and can't be completely refined out. This is why you see silicon in low numbers in Virgin oil. You are correct that a higher number will indicate dust and debris getting into the engine, mostly due to poor air filtration. I would be surprised to see a 0 silicon number. This low of a number also could have even been a speck of dust on the testing equipment or on the bottle.
What is the best oil ? 5w30 for one of my engine the other one is 0w20 engine with turbo they are both gas powered engines , by the way at this moment, I’m using pennzoil ultra platinum , if there’s a better one out there, please let me know thanks
No data on tungsten ? Dont they use that too in the package as it is superior friction modifier compared to moly ?
Love this oil use it in my 17 frontier 4.0 v6 engine is quite has 121873 miles and no problems at all none.
For how many kilometers should i use 5w30 molygen?
You mentioned about better oil with great friction additives, can you recommend what you think is best?

Should have run it for W (tungsten)....I have....have to request it/additional cost. About 150ppm if I recall.
A par oil at a premium price. Seem to be seeing a lot of that. Not always but a lot. Thanks for the testing👍

How much does Blackstone charge for a volatility test.
Does anyone know the actual volatility % for this exact oil??
What oil would you recommend??
Although it makes the engine quieter and with better mpg than most good oils.
So what oil do you use
I heard Redline is good one then pinzoil then amsoil and probably Vovliene restore and protect...
Viscosity= resistance to flow. That's all. A really high Viscosity or low Viscosity only neans how much it has the ability to remove and carry solids.
Thank you
Nothing against Liquid Moly, but, I can get the Signature Series cheaper in my region.
Signature Series is honestly a par oil just like this. Amsoil XL boosted is a better oil than the Signature Series. Rich has videos on that as well.
I like how quiet the xl makes me vehicle
@Maintenance 101 - FBM what's a better oil molygen or amsoil boosted?
That oil is nothing special , thanks for doing it 👍
