It goes without saying that interference of any kind in the judicial system is condemnable in the harshest possible terms and should stop forthwith. However, this is also a fact that, most of the problems of the judiciary are rooted in their capacity gaps. Therefore, instead of cosmetics, an honest, in-depth and rigorous capacity mapping exercise needs to be conducted through a 3rd party of international repute and based outside Pakistan and its findings and recommendations should then be ruthlessly implemented all across the institution. If appointments and promotions would only be competence and performance based; then, most of these complaints of interference would automatically disappear. Meritocracy is the answer to most of the ills afflicting our society.

Wow! Raza Saheb what a brilliant anchoring of a tv program. Brigadier Saheb was giving a long sermon, glorifying the Establishment role in the welfare of the Pakistani state and condemning the politicians of hue and colour for their incompetency, inefficiencies, hereditary politics and whatnot 😊😊He was speaking like a maroof commentator.
