"Your fuel of the future just barbecued the world's most famous painting you dumbass" their delivery was perfect omg
No, she was the one who barbecued the worlds most famous painting.
@@GigaChadh976 it's implied the shitheads(disruptors) would most likely testify that it was miles fault since he has nothing to offer them anymore.
@@GigaChadh976 If he had not put in that feature to take down the shield at will, there would have been no problem. So, yes, it was his fault at the last because of his spoiled brat attitude of wanting nothing between his eyes and the painting.
@@GigaChadh976 Problem is he can't claim that without admitting to the flaws in the fuel. Or to the events that lead up to all of this. And in the end, the sacrifice of the Mona Lisa, the product of an actual genius, to save the world from the catastrophic damage done by the fake 'invention' of a fake genius, is sort of poetic.
Yea she is definitely gonna spend a lot of time prison thankfully
"You baby!" *proceeds to throw a tantrum*
Yeah 😂
You're finally getting to the see the real Miles under all the surface charm and speechifying (seriously, for most of the film it's like the guy is giving a never-ending TED talk); a dimwitted manchild who throws a tantrum whenever something doesn't go his way.
He can’t even insult people properly, cause this was pathetic to watch
I mean like she did burn his house down
@@mrpickle5655 Do you see yourself saying anything along those lines? They're so stupid it hurt my ears. What is he, 12?
Such a great callback to Miles' declaration he wanted to be mentioned in the same breath as the Mona Lisa. In this fictional universe, he'll always be, "Miles Bronn, the moron who DESTROYED the Mona Lisa."
It was the crazy girl who burned the Mono Lisa
@@crazyfire9470 she wasn't crazy he literally killed her sister. and his stupid fuel thing burned it not her
@@crazyfire9470 her exact line is "your fuel of the future just barbecued the world's most famous painting", which is how it'd probably read in history books and in the news. Sure, her actions caused it, but it would've been impossible if he hadn't fueled his house with Klear and put an override switch on the mandatory detection system that the french government made him install.
The louvre is absolutely going to investigate how it burned when it was in a fire-resistant, auto-locked case with a hair trigger, and that investigation won't look good for Miles.
@@weneedaladder8384the French government would figure out it wasn't him.
@@Zane-Itthey'd figured out he installed it directly against their instructions. Not only would they be humiliated for lending out the painting. But the guy they gave it to put it in the hindenburg with no protection. They would take him to task to save face
"You think you're an alligator? You think you popped me like a gangsta?"
Wow. Miles is someone that hasn't been put in his place in a long time, and it shows.
You can say that again. He doesn’t even know how to insult people properly. Of all the tantrums I’ve seen, that was the most pathetic
"So punk rock!"
It’s a fictional movie..
@@GoofAhhClips Yes, we all know this.
I don’t remember who pointed it out, but at the very end, Helen is seated and poised like the Mona Lisa. 🤔
complete with a small half smile
Peg's admiration for Andi/Helen is a minor detail I really loved lol
"Oh fantastic! Oh so punk rock!" Edward norton's delivery of those lines always cracks me up😂😂
You think u popped me like a gangsta !!! 🤣 🤣
He's an incredible actor!!
Notice how Miles was a copycat to the very end when he said “You shitheads.” Couldn’t even insult the disbanded Disrupters with originality.
“YOU THINK YOU POPPED ME LIKE A GANGSTA? YOU BABY!”
😭😭
When yte people get drunk and speak thier truth
I mean, none of the disruptors did the right thing until the end. But the fact that once they 'lost it all' they were finally free to put Miles down for good is sort of hopeful.
Let’s be honest - they only agreed to put Miles down because Miles already lost everything the moment the Mona Lisa was burned. They no longer had anything to gain by covering up his crimes.
The voting in this scene is a nice call-back to Among Us
My favourite part of Glass Onion truly was when Helen said “it was miles he had the napkin thats mega sus” and everyone voted him out, bravo rian
THIS IS A MUST WATCH. LOVED ALL THE ACTORS AND THE PLOT!!!!
“Pop me like a gangsta!?” Lol norton is awesome
So glad the group finally grew a pair and turn on Miles.
Only to save their own asses but sure 😂. They really are shitheads. I wouldn’t even take their apologies if I was Helen
@@Rollyboy141 oh yea they def did it for selfish reasons but still the fact they did it is what matters. Sometimes you gotta hope they do the right thing for the wrong reasons.
I mean miles reputation is ruined his substance has been proven unstable they only turned in him because they csn claim ignorance and save them selves as established they are just shit heads
They only turned on him once he was ruined. Basically once he was of no longer use to them, so I wouldn’t give them too much credit.
@@jugogogo6419 Exactly, my hope is they all get ruined. Having your name attached so publicly and business wise will draw attention. It'll drag them all down and it's what they deserve.
HELEN MY LOVE Janelle did so amazing in this part and Norton as Miles is so funny this cast is iconic
‘OMG did the monster I created in all these shitheads just come back and bite me in the ass?’ I guess it did Miles. I guess it did
I love how Claire was looking at Miles while he thought he was having the last word. (Really, dude? You are *that* dense?)
0:22 😂😂😂
Justice is served
At the end the dogs bite back and were no longer Miles Dogs.
acting was on POINT
I watched series recapped I didn't know she sounded like that-
Can anyone tell me, what are the charges that Miles is going face ?
Destruction of property? Especially when that property is the most famous painting in the world. Remember Miles didn't buy the Mona Lisa, it was only being loaned to him.
Oh, and also the murder of Duke and probably Andi.
Murder in the first degree (Andi)
Attempted murder (of Helen)
Perjury (claiming to have invented the idea for the company at the bar & knowingly lieing under oath)
Also destruction of the painting which was on loan from possibly the most prestigious art museum in the world.
Now that his 'friends' have turned on him because he can no longer help them (due to the ruination of his image and business over this debacle) he will be charged with Duke's murder, Andi's murder, perjury (over the lies he told at the original trial) and probably a whole host of lawsuits over his wholly unethical attempt to bring a hugely dangerous product like this to market without proper testing. His reputation will also be destroyed, everyone will know him for the dumbass he really is AND that he ruined and murdered the REAL genius. Every good thing Alpha did will be attributed to Andi.
He is utterly ruined in other words. Helen's revenge for Andi couldn't be more complete if she tried.
@@KaiObelisk Thank You but can you also tell me how long Miles is going to be imprisoned if he does get sentenced to prison ?
@@jasonchen3186 Well, given he destroyed the Mona Lisa, France will likely demand his head.
It’s actually funny.
How a trust fund playboy who never had to work a single day his whole life…
Was more intelligent than this tech entrepreneur who gave his friend’s business’ and successful careers.
It’s not funny the word your looking for is “poorly written.”
@@GigaChadh976 Hey c’mon man don’t be like that. This film was cool. I can’t wait for Part 3.
@@GigaChadh976 more like "highly accurate" 😂😂😂
I cannot believe the billionaire man was the villain all along, I was shocked and completely surprised! Bravo Ryan!
Such originality, as if we have not seen the exactly same thing over and over. 🥴
Wasn't that the plot of the movie? That it was obviously Miles but that would just be stupid?
@@weneedaladder8384yeah but this guy wants to be mad
Not halen that's her sister itself..
Halen died.
That's why the camera was focused on her in the end
Andi was the dead sister. Helen was the one who kept her southern accent and tried to solve Andi's murder.
This was dumb, why would he be ruined? He can argue that Helen, in a fit of deleterious rage, threw the Klear into a flammable source and because it’s hydrogen it destroyed his entire house. And yeah I get it the group is going to lie for Helen but I don’t know this just feels very unsatisfying as a way to tie things up.
But the fact is all it take to combust the whole island is for one single hydrogen fuel to interact with air is a red flag.
It even mention before the scene that isnt if they are going to blow up but when.
Hence why they all turn on him at the end because they realized the inevitability of the fuel going to screw them over. Claire the govenor, Lionel the scientist all have stake in this
@@thinhvo3893 it did not combust the entire Island, it combusted part of the house which then spread to the entire house. Therefore, miles can argue that under these circumstances, yes, the hydrogen was dangerous but it was used with intention to harm. Miles can make the argument that because Helen used it with intent to harm, she caused the accident on purpose exploiting the product he made, so in short he can come out on top with a little bit of cleverness and money.
Yeah, but it wouldn’t have done all that damage to begin with if it was safe. Even if she caused it on purpose, if his fuel was safe and efficient as he kept claiming, it wouldn’t have been as easy as starting a fire.
Well...
1) he was using a fuel that was yet to be deemed safe
2) he put an override for the safety which he knew was a stupid thing to do
3) he was dumb enough to allow guests to potentially tamper with it by showing them the override, which is even dumber when one of the guests is an enemy of his
So yes, he would be the idiot that got the mona lisa destroyed because he was totally irresponsible with how he treated it.
And besides, all his friends are gonna tell the police what happened, so hes fucked anyway.
@@otisw4033 Did we forget the actual murder and attempted murder as well on top of that? Miles didn’t wear gloves so his finger prints are all over Duke’s gun and on the pineapple juice can he used to spike Duke’s drink. Helen could argue back that she was defending herself due the fact she’s got physical evidence of being shot at before the explosion. She was seen as a guest therefore did not violate any trespassing laws to defend his property. The man also installed the override to the security protocols of the painting which was already a serious violation to the contract of the loaning of the painting in the first place. He ignored the warnings of the potential dangers of his product. Finally, what the hell would the Louvre get from Helen anyway? Sure, she might go to jail but there is no money compensation that they could get from her as she wasn’t the one who signed a contract for the loan of the painting.
What a stupid ending!
Now she will still go to jail for attempted murder and arson right? Not to mention destroying the mona lisa? I mean no matter what happens to Miles…. Our justice system wouldn’t let someone like her go free? Oh wait….it’s a netflix film….
I thought Glass Onion was really good until the ending. It's like they didn't know how to wrap it up so they said, "Wouldn't it be funny if everyone just destroyed Bron's mansion?" No, it wasn't funny, it was dumb. Other than that, good movie (although I think Knives Out is still the better film).
I don't think it's really about it being funny. Miles had such a hold on these people that there was no way to actually get him arrested and to pay for what he had done. Helen destroyed his mansion using Klear which essentially had the same effect by ruining his entire empire. Imo it was the perfect comeuppance for this spoiled brat who has control over everyone and everything in his life and earned none of it, but the cherry on top for me was how he killed Andy and Helen was able to fully just unleash all of that rage. Miles thought he was untouchable, despite being a moron he had so much powerhe essentially was due to the people he surrounded himself with and the money he had (which he stole from andy). But all of that is nothing when someone actually has some balls and stands up to him by not just walking away and instead literally destroying everything.
Sorry that last reply was way too long, I don't get why anyone wouldn't like the ending though. Its either this or he just gets arrested? It's a better climax for many reasons over having some police show up and take him away
In my opinion, I liked Glass Onion better than Knives Out (Even though I haven’t seen the first one though)
@@traydaniel0403How can you say it was better than Knives Out if you haven’t even seen Knives Out?
@@traydaniel0403no offense, but this is a dumb comment.
All the people saying MILES would be known as the person who burnt the Mona Lisa when SHE burnt it shows how dumb people are now.
Are you dumb or did you skip the part of the scene where all the guests say they’re gonna testify against miles and pin everything on him
daniel and janelle were next level in this movie.
