As a non-American, I really only knew Cloris from Raising Hope. It was only when I saw a post about her passing that I realised how much she had done. I hadn't seen her do that roast before - that was hilarious.

And another one when White died. But, Saget, McDonald, Godfrey, and many more have left such a mark on many of us.

I'm 69 years old now and I remember in high school watching Joan Rivers do standup comedy. She was hilarious and was throughout her whole career. I also loved her on Fashion Police. Because of Joan is the only reason I watched it. I also want to say I think Kathy Griffin is another great standup comic. She could talk all night and all I could do was laugh nonstop.
