1. Your hair is on point 👌. 2. Your grinding set up is legendary. 3. You are not a loser. I know it was probably meant as a joke, but it takes some real dedication to do what you do. Dedication that a lot of people don't have for most things in life. I also really like your philosophy on grinding and how you always change it up to keep the tedium from weighing down on you. That's some good advice for anything you do in life. Great vid! (Also, I'm glad you and your family were ok after that hurricane!)
Now I know that the dude wasn’t joking when he talked about the monster magicarp. Talked to the dude and fished the pond, found a lvl 1 and said “huh neat” and never went back.
My first 3 encounters in that pond were all lvl 99 so I thought they were just guaranteed to be lvl 99 every time so you could get an easy lvl 100 Gyarados.
Yet again, You deliver us another labor of love. Thank you for this. I love your videos and the emotional narrative you generously provide. It gives me a healthy basis to approach my own hunts. Sending Love and Power, your homie Alfie.
I'm only 8 minutes in and I already know this will be one of my favorite gauntlets. To see you achieve a goal you once thought impossible to yourself is awesome and very reminiscent of your gen 3 shiny absol. Truth be told, when I was a youngster I loved magikarp so much I was convinced that splash was not a useless move but instead had some secret purpose and would be the greatest Pokémon move of all time under some crazy specific circumstances. Or unlock a secret pokemon or something lol 😂 maybe that wild Level 1 Prince Magikarp is the key!

You've really grown a lot since the first ones and it's really cool to see your energy and charisma evolve into what it is now. I recently found your channel and i really enjoy this style of video, it's really cool and refreshing to see! Also, all that commentary about grinding in game and time passing made me reflect about how I also enjoy doing this kind of stuff, as I crochet stuff as a hobby, but i only really now get into long projects that will take a while to get it done eventually. I definitly wasn't patient enough in the past, but now? I can see myself do the meloetta plush i've wanted in the past! thank you for keeping me entertained as i go through the grind

I always thought I was too impatient to do a full odds hunt but this channel inspired me to try one, & when I (VERY EVENTUALLY) found my target, I found the same thing you described-- now that shiny reminds me of what I did for the months I was hunting it! I'll probably stick mostly to method hunting lol (that months long grind was a bit much for me) but it was a fun challenge!
