I've been watching a ton of these videos and this is by far the most patience testing one so far. I can't even imagine the determination required for this. I'm too impressed for words to accurately convey it.

Not that hard I have done a ratata and kahuna on my other channel for Gen 1 and unsoftlocked the game weird thing only the ratata was needed kinda did the kahuna to cause I was doing verlisifies cursed save file release all Pokemon but a low level ratta and kahuna in cerlurean city get rid of all items and money can you unsiftlock the game yes I did

The real cruelty of this run is that Magikarp will never be able to evolve.
Stuck forever as the strongest useless Pokemon in the game.

You asking what I ate for breakfast inspired a challenge idea. The farmer challenge. I.e. only use Pokémon that can be found on farms in the real world (sheep, chickens, pigs, etc.).

Oh my... I discovered your channel more recently and now I am watching these early videos and you started your channel with the absolute hardest challenges. I am player OR RN and trying to get a 3 star male raltz to raise a Gallade so if I am grinding myself and it's fun to listen to your grinding experience to remind myself how little grinding I am doing.
I ate navy beans with some greens stewed alongside them. Very tasty when seasoned correctly. I would absolutely eat it again.
Also I find it hilarious seeing MDB thanking everyone for the comments asking which fossil he took after watching his more recent videos where he asks us to.

Incase you were wondering why you have such high defense stat.
it is because you were EV training on kakunas and metapods early, granting you defense stats.
It's also partly because Magikarp's second highest stat is defense and I was massively overleveled so my defense and speed would be much higher than the competition, but I'd wager the defense IV training really didn't do me any favours. If I had a bit more wiggle room, I'd have probably tried to IV train attack since that was such an issue the whole game.
Also, Warriors/Musou All-Stars! nice game choice!

This is why you should just use items in battle. It makes the challenge much more interesting than watching commentary over grinding and then waiting on RNG, when it would be so much more interesting to watch you try to beat these gyms WITH items but at the lowest possible level. With no items half of these challenges are just grind to 100 before the league and roll some dice. It’s repetitive and doesn’t let you do anything unique from run to run, and the pokemon used is often irrelevant because you just end up using struggle more than half the time.
