why was there only a light dusting of snow on Mr O Keefe when he was supposedly lying in the continuous snowfall for about +-4hrs and this officer says there had been about 6inches of snow
@aysekinsella9790 but only live humans that still have body heat to them. That would then not make sense why he was frozen and his body had to be slowly reheated at the hospital. And every police officer that testified said it was continuous snowfall. So it does make sense that he was not out there for what i now know to be six hours. With the temp and windchill( blizzard conditions), it takes 15-35 mins to freeze and another 35 to cool down. So then he still had to lay the 4 and half hrs. it doesn't make sense with the theory of him being out there for 6 hours because he would be covered in snow by then.
The Plow driver went by the Property at 2:30 a m. and at 3:30 a m. There was No Body in the Front Yard at that time. At 3:30 a.m. Close to where the body was later found was Parked a Ford Fusion. The Alberts owned a Ford Fusion.
They have to HAVE TO HAVE TO ask the judge to admonish or move the older ladies in the front row over near the defendant. They are making facial expressions at a lot of what defense says and trying their best to taint the jury with their expressions. Totally inappropriate.

Exactly. Our brains are in shock. Nothing makes sense, so we try to force the puzzle pieces to fit...even when they don't. She had no way of knowing what had actually happened to John was so damn sinister, it could have come out of a movie.
It’s interesting, lots of people don’t understand why so many people are lying to cover for the Alberts and McCabes. I don’t think those people understand the influence those families have in the town of Canton, they’re townies who have been there for several generations. They’re essentially a Canton combination of the Sopranos and the Kennedys. I also think most don’t know how the few people involved that night who have decided to be truthful and honest and not followed the script have been treated by those Canton tonwies. Tom Beatty and his daughter have been honest and have been constantly attacked and ostracized by the townies.
We've read the "evidence" - you are late to the case. She is innocent. Worse yet are the corrupt and arrogant cops who covered up their murder of John O'Keefe!

Does anyone know what the brother in law died of two months after his wife died ? Also am I the only one who thinks it is a little strange that John took the two young kinds after his sister and brother in law died. I mean he was a young single police officer, the other brother is married and has two kids about the same age. the reason given was total BS, He claimed his house was too small. Yet John lived in a Condo. So far nothing points to a motive why Karen would kill him. No money comes her way. Also the testimony so far states she loved the kids and cared for them better than their uncle. In fact they said she spoiled them.
I have the same question. I'm thinking he died by choice and that's why it wasn't discussed for privacy. The brother and sister in law helped her in character and even how they liked her and confirmed the arguments were normal couple stuff. I wonder what the prosecutor thought this would do to help his case. All that video of the driveway and cars was useless.
@@Btflmamaprosecution sort of reminds me of the defense attorney in Michelle Trononis case. Droning on and on, entering useless information into evidence to beef up the case. So many comments on "free Karen" and "she's not guilty" ... not even waiting to hear evidence about the case. I agree, the prosecution opening statement was weak and rides rough, but he did mention some crucial evidence that would prove Karen is guilty. Ill wait to see what the evidence provides. I suggest that a "Cover-up" by multiple people is a really really hard task to actually pull off.
I think some people have been following the case for a long time. I'd forgotten all about it until I heard the opening statements, but it came back to me. I couldn't make up my mind when it first happened, but I had doubts that she was guilty. I think I'm neutral at this point for the most part, but I do remember thinking there were some questionable things regarding the police, so I'm hoping the trial clears up some of those doubts. I was married at 19 to my high school girlfriend after I joined the army years ago. Our age didn't do us any favors, but the thing that caused the most arguments was alcohol. We were young with no kids, and young people in the military tend to drink a lot socially. There was a lot of jealousy, and we saw other couples our age cheating. In the end, we didn't last mostly because we were too young, but jealousy was a huge culprit. Most of our friends who also married young split up as well. This couple is much older than we were, but if you combine jealousy with alcohol, it's bound to go wrong. In this case, it went really, really wrong. I have a lot of sympathy for his family, but I am neutral so far on who is responsible and whether or not it was accidental or deliberate. I'm also not sure who is covering things up if there is indeed a cover up. One thing I know is that police are basically fraternal, and could be covering for someone. However, that doesn't mean they are. I'm going to go back and find the early videos about this case because I don't remember the details. If she's innocent, I feel for her. If anyone on the police force is lying to cover for someone, she could be found guilty when she's not, simply because no one on the force is going to come forward this late in the case. I hope the truth comes out. I'd rather see the guilty party go free than a wrong conviction, even though it would suck if there wasn't justice. If she did run over him, I don't know if it was intentional. She was drinking, so it could have been an accident, although she would still be held accountable for causing his death. But it wouldn't be intentional homicide. Do you know how long the trial is supposed to last?
That's because a defendant is to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Not thinking maybe one way or the other. She is to be thought of as completely innocent.
@@zxy78267 I agree with you. So when I was in the Army, i was also a Rangers wife. My husband was a Mogidishu Ranger. The only reason I bring it up is because of the secrecy behind a group of comrades. It was sooooo controlled what the spouses knew. Not that there was any "cover up" but eventually one Ranger would mention something to a wife, and then everyone would know. Its really hard not to let secrets out with a group of people. I think the trial is supposed to last 6-8 weeks.
This is such a sham trial. The evidence speaks for itself, you just need to present it. The fact that he stood there and ranted on with no actual conclusion just says it all.
If karen had hit and run over him wouldnt there be evidence all over that suv? Unfortunately I think Karen may have been blackout drunk which is hurting her recollection. I am undecided on her guilt or innocence but based on evidence presented so far the case against her seems very thin.

What did we learn from the 1st two witnesses ? Absolutely nothing
11/6/24: 1st witness, you learn that the victim was a real person, that he was compassionate and took in his niece & nephew.
2nd witness: You learn, again, that the victim was a real person that was compassionate. You also learn that Karen Reed and the victim had an argument that night.
Prosecutor's Opening Statement was horrible & confusing. It seemed longer than 45 minutes & felt neverending!!
And most of it had nothing to do with what happened
The defense came out swinging !
I agree 👍
why was there only a light dusting of snow on Mr O Keefe when he was supposedly lying in the continuous snowfall for about +-4hrs and this officer says there had been about 6inches of snow
melts on humans
11/6/24: If there was wind, it could have blown off.
Now that I’ve seen the video from the officers car, the wind was definitely blowing.
They have to HAVE TO HAVE TO ask the judge to admonish or move the older ladies in the front row over near the defendant. They are making facial expressions at a lot of what defense says and trying their best to taint the jury with their expressions. Totally inappropriate.
Isn't that where John's mother and father sit. Joined by his brother Paul and wife Karen? There are some older ladies though that could be moved, but doubt it will happen.

McCabe’s google history is actually all you need to know about what really happened.
And the fact that noone from the house came out at any point... when there was chaos going down on their front lawn.
I thought the judge ruled they couldnt talk about 3rd party culprits in the opening? Guess i didnt understand what that ruling entailed.
Also how is anything from her phone admissable if the lead investigator went through it without a warrant?
Been waiting for this trial. Will be following.
Ppl say the damndest things & take blame when in shock. When my dad died I took blame telling emt's & everyone it was my fault; I should've been there the one & only time I wasn't. So according to this Canton officer I could've been charged, get outta here it's called shock.
I absolutely agree it’s shock!! And to be honest in some parts of the police video I thought I heard her say as she was running around “How?.. how?”
Exactly. Our brains are in shock. Nothing makes sense, so we try to force the puzzle pieces to fit...even when they don't. She had no way of knowing what had actually happened to John was so damn sinister, it could have come out of a movie.
I feel like that's the case here. He's laying there and I think anyone would think same thing in her shoes. Ppl think it's confession lol
Well , there hasn’t even been a trial and all these folks thinks she’s innocent. 🤷♀️ I’ll wait to hear the evidence.

We've read the "evidence" - you are late to the case. She is innocent. Worse yet are the corrupt and arrogant cops who covered up their murder of John O'Keefe!

Police have no rights to pull phone evidence from Karen Reed's cell phone without a search warrant via a judge. This incident and more Scream foul ! Karen Reed is innocent ~ Go Nomar 🧦
He took the phone to look for nudes, he told his high school buddies...
Why was Karen so quick to leave the family home after 30 minutes and not at least stay to support the grieving children? She was surrounded by John's family who were welcoming and supportive?
I know nothing about this case and am already so confused trying to follow the states opening

Its actually not that hard when the whole police force is behind you!!
That's because a defendant is to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Not thinking maybe one way or the other. She is to be thought of as completely innocent.
the comments about Michelle Troconis were disgusting. No such thing as a fair trial in America

Well, she's known as Aunt Bev by the Albert family. The deep corruption in the Massachusetts "justice" system is real. Take it from a lifelong resident.
This court room is set up according to a standard of where the judge sits, where the jury box is, and the seating for observers is fixed. The judge did not orchestrate a change in how a court is set up. The prosecution and the defense tables face the judge and the witness box. The jury box is to one side so they have a view of the witness, the judge and the legal team. Prosecution table is typically closest to the jury box. Defense is adjacent with an aisle between. The podium is facing the jury for the opening statements. Observers are behind and to the side. Nobody has set anything up that varies from the standard.
