Really glad you enjoyed the Delorean! We are using reverse rotation mirrored turbos. We did it because of packaging reasons.
I got the date scheduled wrong, hence the late publish. Sorry!
No worries just glad it showed up
All good daddy
If there’s one thing I learned today it’s that for my next pair of shoes I need New Balances
Hey Zach and Matt, Huberman lab podcast/youtube channel is a great source for learning about practicing quality sleep, timing caffeine intake, sun exposure and just general health and well being. Smoked cigarettes for 10 years, i know what you mean about missing it. It took me a month of vaping to get off (and lots of weed) now I’m practicing weed in moderation and see the true utility of caffeine. You mentioned once that sativa and coffee was low key cocaine … that stuck with me 😅
I 2nd the hell out of this.
Yup
Thanks for the recommendation, subscribed and will be checking this out
Just saying. It took me 3 months of mental pain every single day to quit weed. They say it's not chemically addictive, but it really depends on how you deal with dopamine.
Forgot about the Lotus for high end manual sports car. Also Blackwings are manual buy sports sedans.
Matt, you have the New Balance game all wrong. They're VERY in trend and have been for the last 10 years thanks to explosion of Japanese streetwear influencing the west. New Balance is huge in streetwear right now and collecting huge 2nd hand premiums for the rare collaborated stuff. They're for sneaker heads who have gotten tired of the inconsistent quality and vapid obsession of Jordan's.
1:12:29 "Speaking of which, Zack and I watched some of the videos of the new Tesla FSD update. What a *** disaster"
“They want you to take your money out of the Fanny pack and give it to them”
The Cadillac Blackwing cars are under 100k and come with a manual.
Huberman is everywhere!!!
Wearing New Balance FreshFoams as we speak, my first pair of NB's. Love em
What Matt is saying about the sneakers is 100% right. Perfect example, The 574 looks better with the style of jeans around that time, Straight leg. If you wear slimmer jeans or skinny the 574 look out of place because itlooks like a shoe of the 90s (which it is). The newer age slim technical look isn’t there to match. He’s spot on.
1. The winter beater/overland question: Absolutely a Jeep Grand Cherokee. For that price range a nice 05-10 with a Hemi is a snap, or a *mint* 1998 5.9L or a 03-04 Overland ....would probably avoid the latter. No shortage of aftermarket off roady fun parts.
2. MT-82....issue is the clutch. McLeod RST and a Barton, fixed.
And Barton? I’m interested in a s550
@@jaioncebollero1168 Barton shifter. Steeda TriAx is good too. 2018s did have an issue with gear material, addressed for 2019.
2.8T V6 (Holden designed motor, turboed by Saab) in the Saab 9-3 is a fantastic sounding engine. Love hearing the V6 wail in my Sportcombi.
Betty White is still alive. That is all.
In Watch Dogs Legion Ubisoft included a feature that lights up a big A on the window of cars when they are in autonomous mode. In the case of the video game, the feature is a quality of life thing that lets me know which cars I can use without carjacking an NPC and getting a wanted level for it. In real life such a feature would clearly denote that the specific vehicle is in autonomous mode and that I should stay far away, be ready to defend myself and be ready to sue an owner, who's car ends up running me over, for their entire net worth.
Another great crew show guys. Matt have a look at the Hoka Bondi 7. I used to run new balances but have since converted. They have regular all the way up to EEEE and are like walking on clouds.
I have 3 screws in my foot.. 3 herniated disc - 6'1 235 - of all the shoes iv had.. hands down adidas Nmd's r1 primeknit shoes are amazing.
I would love to see a tesla on FSD try go through a roundabout. Perhaps it knows how to go through one, but 3/4 of the people where I live do not.
Had the wide feet as a kid and was sent from the normal shoe store to a specialty shop that had New Balance to fit me with a 4E. I’d love some good looking 990s.
You know what they say about wide feet…….
New Balances
Flavored vapes are definitely just illegal in ny, loop hole: habibi gas stations
I'd 1up the zj grand cherokee as a winter beater. I regret selling mine so much.
Miss me with the smoking and vaping
Car equivalent to your New Balance issues would be the Defender 90 V8 coming in 3 colors
nicotine vapes are very popular in CT, especially among 18-25 year olds :(
DAMMM THAT COMMENT ABOUT THE aUTO CRUISE CONTROL INDICATOR IS AMAZING!! I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT THAT FOR YEARSSSSS. LETS GET THAT GOING. YELLOW LIGHT OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT IS GOOD START
Best overlanding vehicle under 10k byfar is the GMT800 Z71 Tahoe or Suburban. 2000-2005. They run FOREVER and you can get them all day for under 10k. Or XJ cherokee.
14:16. Oh. At first I thought you said "clown".
what's the point of a "self driving" or "autopilot" system if it doesn't allow you to concentrate any less on driving? It's clearly not adding any margin of safety like other features do, and it doesn't let you relax or concentrate any less, so I really can't see any point to it (other than massive profit for Tesla). I think it would make it even more dangerous, as a mind that doesn't HAVE to be engaged is much harder to force into being engaged. It seems like it'd be dangerously easy to zone out, and that actually driving your car would keep you more focused.
I am not an advocate for "autopilot" systems at all. These systems are obviously dangerously early in development for how companies like Tesla have deployed them. The point is that at some point systems will become technically advanced enough that no human monitoring/intervention is required in the course of any journey. Look into the levels of autonomy. I think manufacturers are lying by indicating that we are much further along level than the cars we currently can buy currently actually are.
The problem is how it's advertised and being used outside the highway.
Exactly. I've been saying this for a while. The whole point of automating a thing is so you can pay less attention to that thing. Telling drivers that they have to maintain a constant state of attention to the task of monitoring the system defeats the purpose of such a system and goes against human nature. Humans are good at seeing, pattern recognition and prediction, while computers are good at not getting distracted or tired, so what does a Level 2 system do? Assign the division of labor exactly backwards. I don't understand why we are going down this path instead of pursuing crash avoidance systems - a car that fixes my mistakes instead of a car that expects me to fix its mistakes.
Do you still read these comments? I’d love to see the dudes at Throttle House call in.
Nice
NY doesn’t have the strictest laws on smoking. Proof: Cigarettes, cigars, and loose tobacco are not only still allowed in the NYS prison system, but sold in the commissary by the state for a profit. Ask me how I know 😂
in this episode matt happily shits on Tesla again
My tolerance went to shit when I started growing my own. Every cone is now a huge cone.
DeLorean = good, Aston Martin = good, Tesla = always bad. Got it!
nobody wants to here this much delorean talk
I enjoyed it..
