Mahoraga is capable of adapting to ANYTHING given enough time. Remember that a oneshot ability is literally explained as the weakness of Mahoraga. So before someone brings up something like "he cant adapt to hollow purple" or something, they literally explain it in the anime.
For example, if mahito were to fight mahoraga, he could PROBABLY kill mahoraga in a single touch (if he can even get a proper touch, but let's ignore that), but if he underestimates mahoraga for some reason and messes around with him a little, like transfiguring him bit by bit, then it's likely that mahoraga will adapt to idle transfiguration, and as such becoming immune to the ability.
Mahoraga's adaptation isn't usually "gaining a new ability", but "being impervious to the attack", his adaptation is always focused on making him unbothered by whatever attack no matter how he does it to. For Sukuna's slashes, his adaptation is parrying them. For Infinity, it gets negated when he attacks. Even his adaptation to Unlimited Void is just slash-breaking it. The technicalities within those adaptations involve Mahoraga changing something in him or his attacks which could be seen as him "gaining abilities", but it's not really in the same level as let's say an actual CT, you know. Like, he doesn't gain a slashing CT to counter Shrine or anything like that. It's safe to just understand his adaptations as "rejection and negation of stuff". If he was up against a time traveler, Mahoraga's adaptation will probably just be breaking that whole time-traveling stuff when it happens (like he does a slashing motion, a crack in the sky appears, and the whole time traveling thing is destroyed as they're placed back to their original time). I guess you can perceive that as an ability to "manipulate time", but yeah it's just him not allowing his opponent to manipulate time. TLDR: Time manipulation-based abilities against Mahoraga won't probably make him gain some form of it, unless you consider his negation of them as time manipulation.

This would mean that the 10 shadows technique would be deactivated as the cursed energy needed to keep it active would no longer be present. Domain expansion ultimate adaptation
Mahoraga is capable of adapting to ANYTHING given enough time. Remember that a oneshot ability is literally explained as the weakness of Mahoraga. So before someone brings up something like "he cant adapt to hollow purple" or something, they literally explain it in the anime.
For example, if mahito were to fight mahoraga, he could PROBABLY kill mahoraga in a single touch (if he can even get a proper touch, but let's ignore that), but if he underestimates mahoraga for some reason and messes around with him a little, like transfiguring him bit by bit, then it's likely that mahoraga will adapt to idle transfiguration, and as such becoming immune to the ability.

Mahoraga's adaptation isn't usually "gaining a new ability", but "being impervious to the attack", his adaptation is always focused on making him unbothered by whatever attack no matter how he does it to.
For Sukuna's slashes, his adaptation is parrying them. For Infinity, it gets negated when he attacks. Even his adaptation to Unlimited Void is just slash-breaking it. The technicalities within those adaptations involve Mahoraga changing something in him or his attacks which could be seen as him "gaining abilities", but it's not really in the same level as let's say an actual CT, you know. Like, he doesn't gain a slashing CT to counter Shrine or anything like that. It's safe to just understand his adaptations as "rejection and negation of stuff".
If he was up against a time traveler, Mahoraga's adaptation will probably just be breaking that whole time-traveling stuff when it happens (like he does a slashing motion, a crack in the sky appears, and the whole time traveling thing is destroyed as they're placed back to their original time). I guess you can perceive that as an ability to "manipulate time", but yeah it's just him not allowing his opponent to manipulate time.
TLDR: Time manipulation-based abilities against Mahoraga won't probably make him gain some form of it, unless you consider his negation of them as time manipulation.

He'd absolutely adapt to it. The Prison Realm is a counter to any Sorcerer because they rely on Cursed Energy, which they can't use in the Prison Realm.
Mahoraga on the other hand, as a Shikigami, doesn't really use Cursed Energy to spin its wheel, even Sukuna was surprised when it started to use Cursed Energy after only its wheels spun, which backs the fact that Mahoraga doesn't use Cursed Energy normaly.
It doesn't matter whether or not mahoraga uses cursed energy normal or not. If the prison realm seals off cursed energy mahoraga cant function because of 2 reasons
1. This would mean that the 10 shadows technique would be deactivated as the cursed energy needed to keep it active would no longer be present. We know techniques don't operate in the prison realm as visibly we could tell that gojo's infinity was deactivated and by extension gojo himself stated that he couldn't feel or manifest his cursed energy which is necessary for the activation of techniques
2. This would also mean that mahoraga can't adapt as his adaption is no more then changing the application of his cursed energy to match specific situations. Regardless of whether or not he applies it differently its still using cursed energy which is sealed in the prison realm
Either way he can't beat the prison realm. A lot of people misunderstand how mahoraga's adaption works

1. It was never stated that the user needs to constantly supply the Shikigami with Cursed Energy for it to function. The only thing that's said of how using the Technique impacts the users Cursed Energy is "The Ten Shadows Technique can be activated and deactivated at any time to manifest and dispel shikigami as long as the user has enough cursed energy", no where is it stated that the Shikigami demands constant Cursed Energy to function, only the Summoning/Dispeling is noted to need Cursed Energy.
And we know for a fact that Mahoraga can deal with things that tell Cursed Techniques to fudge off (Aka. Domain Expansions). The reason why the Prison Realm was such a counter to Gojo/any Sorcerer is because it bypasses their Cursed Technique + makes them unable to use Cursed Energy.
2. Mahoraga is noted to not use Cursed Energy to adapt to things all the time (Hell, Mahoraga doesn't even use Cursed Energy normaly, even Sukuna was shocked that it did), yes its one of its ways to adapt, but its not the only way it adapts. If the only way for it to adapt was by changing its Cursed Energy then by all means Sukuna wouldn't have been able to learn the World Cutting Dismantle.
Sukuna himself has stated that he could not change his Cursed Energy property (making that adaptation useless to Sukuna), so when Mahoraga outright learned to expand the effective target of Dismantle to the World itself he could learn that. If this was it changing the Cursed Energy property, then Sukuna learning the same move would be Impossible.
Either way, by all means, Mahoraga should be able to get out of the Prison Realm.

1. This is cope, any all all techniques require an active use of cursed energy. If this was not the case then abilities wouldn't have a timer or rather would be spammable yet cursed energy capacity is still a thing. The destinction of the ISOH working on active techniques proves that a technique only remains active so long as cursed energy is being flown through it to state otherwise would be verse breaking as quite literally no technique should theoretically have a limit and would only need to be activated once. Mahoraga by definition of what a shikigami is only exists off of megumi's cursed energy, megumi can not summon shadows if he has no cursed energy and by default can not sustain them. We've legit seen this with the wolf being deactivated after megumi run out of energy. As I said to state anything else apart from this would be cope and would be verse breaking as even gojo's abilities are considered active and require cursed energy to constantly run through it to remain active.
2. Since when do domain expansions tell cursed techniques to "fudge off". Domain expansions do not prevent people from using they're cursed technique were are you getting this information from. The prison realm isn't a cursed technique and funily enough you legit just debunked your own statement because u've legit just stated the the prison realm bypasses cursed techniques and by sukuna's words if the shikigami's technique is the ability to adapt to all phenomena then by default it would bypass the adaption and seal mahoraga. As stated the shikigami can not exit without megumi's supply of cursed energy this is legit proven by sukuna himself stating that the ritual ends when megumi dies to state that the shikigami can exist so long as its been summoned would contradict this exact statement. Shikigami are active applications of the 10 shadows technique not a single shadow can exist if megumi is not suspending cursed energy to them. We also know that this is the case cause megumi can't summon better shikigami and sustain them during his fight against toji as he consumed up a lot of ce whilst using his domain expansion. As i said suggesting that a shikigami can survive without cursed energy after megumi summons it would contradict the whole aspect of the ritual ending if megumi dies because there should be no reason its deactivated if this is the case
3. Mahoraga using a technique by default means he manipulates cursed energy. Irregardless of how weird he manipulates the energy it doesn't change its anatomy or state from being cursed energy. By default regardless of how you want to spin it if we both agreed that the prison realm seals cursed energy and u just stated that it seals of cursed techniques there is no way mahoraga is activating ct's with no cursed energy. This has never been done in jjk by anyone including gojo or sukuna to activate a ct without any cursed energy and would be idiocy to assume that a shikigami who scales below both of them could pull off the feat
Again people simply do not understand not only how mahoraga's adpation works but clearly how the concept of cursed energy and cursed techniques function. You can not have the activation or continuation of a technique especially one such as adaptions which even if we were to go by ur argument which is still false would require multiple activations without the application of cursed energy. Mahoraga doesn't use normal cursed energy under normal conditions. He initially wielded the sword of extermination which was imbuded with positive energy ( also known as reverse cursed technique) so we can say that Mahoraga uses positive energy instead of cursed energy.
