So sorta hints his technique got ingrained to the weapon.
Recently, it was revealed that Ino took Nanami's blade. And apparently, the blade had been imbued with Nanami's CT, so it had the same effects as Ratio even after his death (the 7:3 ratio thing)

Sure they might be a little more durable but they aren't unbreakable. Yuji broke Slaughter demon training with Nobara and when Toji resurrected through seance he broke the ends of playful cloud by sharpening them against each other.

It literally managed to put Gojo in a near-death state and could kill him even in the modern time at his pinnacle of strength. 3. The way its ability can be used as a form of both putting people into vulnerability as well as defence is wild. I didn't know the Spear nullified Reversal Red in Gojo's fight. 4. The Voice actor of DIO wields it, who is coincidentally linked to heaven/god-based contracts. ... TWOH be like: 5. It's 1 of the 3 ways to escape the downs of a Domain Expansion. That being the SoH's nullification, breaking the domain from the outside, and a domain clash. (Might be more, not sure, kinda new to JJK.) ... I dont rlly have any else but, the Spear just looks cool lol.
Playful Cloud DOES have a special effect. Its damage and power increase exponentially with its user's physical power, not their cursed energy. This is stated outright. This means that someone like Kiyotaka and Yuji could swing Playful Cloud at a target with the EXACT same about of force but because Yuji is innately stronger than Kiyotaka Playful Cloud will hit harder with his blow than the Vice Principal's. Now add that to the fact that Yuji HAS more physical power so he CAN swing Playful Cloud a lot harder than Kiyotaka ever could and you should see why it was stated in the manga that Playful Cloud was the perfect weapon for Toji. Not only was he able to get far more power out of it than anyone else on the planet but he was also able to get a tool that got stronger as he did.
Honestly, Maki would be so op with it now. She's stated to be a combatant at the same level as Toji as a completed Heavenly Restriction. She's equal to Toji, so she should honestly take up the weapon again.

the reason when sorcerers say the playful cloud staff feels disgusting to use is because, like you said toji is its original user. and as we’ve seen most cursed tools will embed the technique of the user who uses it the most. and we know toji doesn’t have a technique which is why it really just makes your strength much stronger. but the reasoning on why people call it disgusting is because it was used to kill sorcerers, not curses

Since they dont have any special ability there would be no reason for them to use them since unlike Maki they can just infuse their own cursed energy into normal weapons to make the usable against curses

Even if they weren't, cursed tools are created by the repeated infusion of cursed energy into a weapon, so every besides maki would be using cursed tools due to repeated usage

In Yuta vs Yuji fight for example yuji grabs a random knife he finds in a car and then proceeds to use it by infusing it with his own cursed energy so it doesnt break. (Chapter 141) And yeah doing that is what leads to normal weapons becoming cursed tools but we dont really know how long someone would need to use a weapon so it has cursed energy permanently imbedded into it instead of actively having to do that. For example the reason Miwas sword broke so easily against Hanami might be because when Maki is wielding it it becomes just a normal Katana since she cant infuse it with her own CE like Miwa does

We actually don't know if Nanomi used a blunt blade because he kept it wrapped. He could have just as easily used an actual blade that was forged with a blunt edge like what they use for cosplay or sparring and it would have worked just as well with his ratio technique. Keeping the blade wrapped implies that he has an actual sharpened edge on his blade that he was protecting. Its possible he had another restriction that he placed on himself, similar to his overtime, that made it so he would only unwrap the blade against REALLY powerful enemies and thus greatly increase his powers. Unfortunately, the only time we ever saw him against such opponents was when he was against the disaster curses. Mahito was outright immune to Nanomi's powers while the only time he fought Jogo and Dagon he was being jumped by all three so Nanomi would have never really had an opportunity to even try breaking out a trick like that.

well, actually depends, if you take a normal Katana and you use it in fight imbuing your cursed energy into it then no, that's just a normal weapon reinforced with cursed energy, the equivalent of a regular rock being imbued with cursed energy, but if you take a normal weapon and imbue CE little by little over a certain period of time then the weapon will absorb that, like a sponge let's say, and become a some sort of cursed tool, a pseudo that is not officially listed as one just like Yuta's katana and probably also Nanami's sword and Mei Mei's Axe.

well, actually depends, if you take a normal Katana and you use it in fight imbuing your cursed energy into it then no, that's just a normal weapon reinforced with cursed energy, the equivalent of a regular rock being imbued with cursed energy, but if you take a normal weapon and imbue CE little by little over a certain period of time then the weapon will absorb that, like a sponge let's say, and become a some sort of cursed tool, a pseudo that is not officially listed as one just like Yuta's katana and probably also Nanami's sword and Mei Mei's Axe.

If we’re to assume that Yuta and Miwa’s katanas as well as mei mei’s axe are all cursed weapons, why not extend that to every other weapon wielded by a sorcerer that isn’t explicitly stated not to be a cursed tool? By that principal maki’s father’s sword, nobara’s hammer and nails as well as kamo’s bow and arrows are also all cursed tools.

I’m sorry but the Inverted spear of heaven is not the strongest. It’s cool but context matters, the only reason it did anything to Gojo, is because it a sneak attack. Yes it “Blocked” the red but Toji was bleeding from the head and sent through a building still. Once it’s cool at first glance but split soul or play cloud got it beat.
Would be cool to see yuji use soul split katana since yuji can see the soul due to sukuna
