    Lasfit LED has great bulbs to replace the halogens, still provide great beam of light with super easy installation

    • @Chayness
      @Chayness  2 роки тому +1

      They do. The car had plenty Lasfit LED products but I had no need for new Headlight bulbs so I never installed Lasfit LED's for my main headlights. I would say however that most quality headlight LED bulbs are typically about $100. Anything cheaper is simply not bright enough.

    What about headlights ? Are they H8? I noticed you had the drl high beam but I wanted to make sure about the fog lights as well. I want to replace all of them lol. Thanks man. Appreciate the time and effort you put into this. My man just got a VT it’s stock so he’s itching to do some small mods. Intake exhaust and bulbs and flaps. That’s pretty much it. How important is the catch can and the bov? Those are two I’m on the fence about. Love your vids and your car. His is black too

    • @Chayness
      @Chayness  5 років тому

      BOV isn't necessary but I would HIGHLY recommend the Oil Catch Can. As for the bulbs.... for turbo models the main headlight bulb is an H11B. They make a plug and play LED kit now but I'd probably recommend a better H11 kit and just fixing the harness to work.

    • @Chayness
      @Chayness  6 років тому

      Mine was provided by my sponsor, Endless Auto Salon. They only sell banners of their shop logo. I don't know any place that does custom banners right now, but I do no many small companies that make banners of their own logos and stuff. Let me know if you're interested in that? lol

    What type of suspension do I recommend a specific brand for my Hyundai Veloster I love my Veloster. very good videos

    • @Chayness
      @Chayness  5 років тому

      There are too many good brands out there that make products for the Veloster platform. It would ultimately be your preference but some that are very common are from ARK Performance and Megan Racing. There are many others as well. Make sure you also look into if springs are enough for you or if you're going to prefer full on coilovers.

    If you're losing fuel eco with your mods, the problem is in your foot. intakes, exhausts and blowoff valves won't affect fuel eco by themselves. I have a full cai, hot pipe, and catback and I still routinely hit the 33mpg on the highway and average 30 overall if I don't drive like an asshole.

    • @Chayness
      @Chayness  5 років тому

      I have this argument all the time. While I do agree with you, I don't believe the Veloster ever truly got this type of range unless you have an Auto/DCT version with ECO mode. Ive tried driving like a grandma before an the best I get is around 23-24 street and like 26 Highway.

    • @kevinvolk968
      @kevinvolk968 5 років тому +1

      @@Chayness yikes where do you live? my fuel eco goes down in the winter, but nothing that bad so far. The other day I averaged only 27, buts that is uncharacteristically low. Hyundai did inflate their fuel eco numbers originally, in fact if you have a 15 or earlier, you're entitled to a settlement per a class action law suit. Low 20's is wrx number though. you should go get your car checked.

    • @Chayness
      @Chayness  5 років тому

      @@kevinvolk968 It's actually quite common. If you look in the forums, you'll see many people with stick shift get pretty bad MPG..... and yes, it gets worst with the mods as the car ends up needing more fuel to take advantage of the added air flow.

    • @Chayness
      @Chayness  3 роки тому

      Depends on the brand but the GFB one I last had held boost soooo much better and the car responded to it much better as well (as opposed to my TurboXS). While it's quite a bit more expensive than the TurboXS, it's worth it in my opinion. The only con is that since it holds boost better I did see a dip in my gas mileage sadly so the best I could ever get was aroun like 26MPG and that was mixed. 28MPG Freeway.
