Netflix is a streaming service that seems to dump out a ton of garbage, but occasionally you'll find a diamond in the rough. Samurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles is not that diamond, but it certainly is a thing that exists. So let's talk about it!

But actually, the Yokai part is fine, there are a lot of stories of Usagi fighting Yokai. Not a majority of stories, but a considerable part.

As a Stan Sakai fan of 25-30 years (not my age, but years of reading the books), this is the absolute worst. It’s hard for me to crap on it, because I like Stan‘s work so much, who claimed to have been involved a lot, but it’s terrible. Maybe fit for 5-8 y/o, but I do hate it.

It doesn't feel like he's honorable, respectful or deep, but like a superficial kid who doesn't understand the good values of samurai, traditional japan, history or martial arts. He doesn't have to be a honorable Zoro like in One Piece, but a little more focused, concentrated, based and less childish.
After 5 episodes I've already watched I will drop the series.
