Hello N4S, now that you've made this NASCAR iceberg video, I just want to ask, are you going to make an Everything Wrong With video about Need For Speed Pro Stree's latest Pepega mod made by Team Pepega sometime in the future?
You were talking about the thunder song that was unknown. If you fast forward the video too 1:20:5 that same music that’s playing was in another game called need for speed Carbon which was also made by EA. Funny how I noticed that.
Fun fact: In Nascar 07, even though they couldn’t put Jack Daniel’s on Clint Bowyer’s GNS car, if you look closely enough, they forgot to censor Bud Pole Award
A possible reason for Clint Bowyer's #07 car not appearing at all, rather than simply being edited to remove logos, is that the shape of the 7 is itself a Jack Daniel's trademark.
iirc, they got around this in NASCAR 08 by using his secondary DirecTV paint scheme instead, and changing the Jack Daniels' font to the standard Childress font.
And if you remove the number and replace it with an ESPN logo, you'll get the exact car used in the 2007 NASCAR on ESPN/ESPN NASCAR Countdown intro. Plus, the guy's first name is Walt, a nod to ESPN's parent company, Disney.
@@boomkittyFX yup, since like the late 90s, after Disney bought out ABC in 1996, and then forcing ESPN to replace ABC as the producer of it's own sporting events following Super Bowl 40 in 2006, hence the reason why that in the fall of 2006, ABC Sports was now called, "ESPN on ABC".
Kasey Klemmons’ #008 Nextel Cup car in 08 is based on real-life as well, as the paint scheme was used during the Champions Week events in NY from 2004-2007 as a pace car that led the top 10 drivers of each year (the number was the current year, some versions have the Sprint logo on one side and had the year’s champion on the hood or just the Nextel Cup logo). A die-cast car of this scheme was also put out through Kellogg’s cereals, I believe. It, the #107 Toyota, and the #180 Craftsman are the only fantasy drivers to only be in 08 (to my knowledge), as they’re not in 09.
1:16:00 while on the Simulation disk that maybe true, the Arcade disk still contains Mark Martin's #6 Valvoline scheme. From what I understand, it was a developer oversight that the scheme still remains accessible in Arcade Mode
When I originally bought the game, I was expecting to get the 1.2 version instead of the 1.0 version to see if the scheme appeared in the aracde version. Should of mentioned but couldn't record or find footage that goes along with that point.
@@N4SVideos and 1 more thing... Jason Jarrett and Justin Labonte had a spinoff game... sort off... It's "Jarrett vs. Labonte Stock Car Racing", the North American release of "TOCA World Cars" from UK based company, Codemasters. It features Ned Jarrett on commentary for career mode races and no licensed sponsors, other than the car brands, and the sponsors on the tracks. Yeah, a British touring car game with NASCAR drivers just to make a few bucks... Pathetic. But it had DAMAGE compared to Gran Turismo's 1-4...
part of the issue with NASCAR games is that making games is way more expensive nowadays, racing games in general have shrunk, and NASCAR has been in a weird place in terms of popularity for a long time. that's why smaller studios get the license.
Fun fact: Nascar 05: Chase for the Cup. In the Busch series race at Milwaukee, the race is the Alan Kulwicki 250. The “0” in 250 has the Nascar Busch Series logo in the 0, and it can be seen and read in the video game. I thought that was cool when I was a kid.
the fact that tony stewart has not one but two different video games with his name in the title and wasnt included in the driver games category is crazy (these games are "tony stewart's sprint car racing" (2020 by monster games) and "tony stewart's all american racing" (2020 by monster games) while also being featured on the cover of "sprint cars: the road to knoxville" (2006 by valusoft))
And in the 31st Thunder Challenge in Thunder 2003 he’s left out so they could have a car driven by Rick Hendrick, which at the time was understandable as the rookie on a full team with underwhelming lower series results, but hilarious in hindsight considering his career dominance. Bonus info: in the intro video Rick Hendrick says he doubts he’ll ever get anywhere near Richard Petty’s car owner race win and championship records... Then Jimmie Johnson and Chad Knaus happened. And between him, Gordon, Labonte, Elliot, and Larson, as well as some race wins from a few other guys, Hendrick has both records now.
Pls tell me im not the only one that tried recreating movie cars in one or more of these games. Obviously I recreated Lightning McQueen but also Transformers characters like Bumblebee, Barricade and Jazz in Thunder 2003 because that game already had a Pontiac car so I just made it silver/gray and named it Autobot Jazz 😂
These videos that touch on obscure Gran Turismo NASCAR content always talk about the 2009 cars and the GameStop pre-order car, but the 2010 version of the Old Spice car that was swapped out for the primary Office Depot scheme before the release of GT5 seems to have been forgotten about entirely by the people making these icebergs. That surprises me, because screenshots of said car can still be found quite easily online.
In my experience, the red flag in NASCAR 15 fucks the whole race up if it's put out in practice or qualifying with cars wrecked that would DNF not starting the race and spawning in weirdly in spots that would cause cautions or wrecks and never despawn.
[Edit upwards] the unknown song I feel its like Rollin from Limp Bizkit but low pitched, that because the "rollin rollin rollin yeah!" lyric and the rock base. About Ricky Boby's Talladega games I remember a 3D flash game where putting a name/nickname and the game it'll put you an any car from the movie, including few actual brands as Wonder. In game the comentator sometimes tells the player's status if it crashed, passed another race or loosing one, and at the end if you reached the podium, wins or "loose" (no reaching podium) the "manager"(because I forgot the correct name) tells about your driving skills depends of the place you reached
1:26:00 in my opinion, and from what i've researched from NFS UG2 sounds, that sound was actually used for the stage 3 engine upgrade sound changes of the Ford Mustang GT (Said car also has a different sound called "Mustang_Nscr" which is used along with that one), just like how various engines sounds from some cars, actually belong to complete different ones, just like how the Mazda RX7 and RX8 use a Ferrari 360 V8 engine sound for it's Stage 3 engine upgrade, on later games, some of these sounds would still be in the games files but remain unused in the final game, just like how the Plymouth Cuda uses the same Dodge Charger sound instead of it's intended sound taken from the same engine used to potrait Dom's Charger in F&F1, or the Pagani Zonda which had it's own recorded sound but finally reused Murcielago sounds. Some actual unused sound files exist in UG2 like the Lamborghini Diablo which has no point since UG2 had no supercars, and some other cars which altough they weren't included in the game, their sounds were used for other cars or engine upgrades sound changes for them like the VW Jetta, Honda S2000, Ford Bronco, Nissan 300ZX, Honda Prelude, Acura Integra DC4, Porsche Cayenne, Mazda Protegé, Toyota Corolla Sprinter Trueno (AE86, UG2 Had an AE88 GTS Twin Cam), multiple VW Golfs and even an 80's VW Sirocco.
54:24 2 other good reasons for the ps2 footage in the game is either the video file names were mixed up or the game was being rushed and they forgot they added ps2 footage
20:23 I'm still trying to figure out how Dale Earnhardt Sr. is in NASCAR 2003 till NASCAR 07... Rumor has it that when NASCAR 07 was released in 2006. Dale would've retired in 2006 if he hadn't passed away... Like what I'm still trying to figure out is what was the original plan for NASCAR Thunder 2002 for Dale Sr to be in the game but due to his death the only thing they could do is use him as a tribute at the beginning of Thunder 2002 and there's not a lot of archive articles about it only the rest of the speculation is up to our imagination...
The simple answer is that Dale Sr. has always been loved by NASCAR fans, and his inclusion in those games was a quiet but simple tribute. Long term, it’s pretty well known that Dale was close to wrapping up his driving career. He wanted to try running sports cars full time, but I’d like to think RCR would’ve kept a part time plate entry for him as long as he wanted to run.
One of the first NASCAR games I played was Mario Andretti Racing on the Sega Genesis. Had stock cars, sprint cars, and Indy cars. I remember 8 year old me trying to figure out how to race dirt took a bit of learning
In NASCAR thunder 2004 if you wanna drive a locked paint scheme. Go to multiplayer and select the driver you want to race. Then have player 2 go to that driver and cycle to the locked scheme you want to drive. Head into the race and bam. You’ll be in the locked car. This only works for one or the other player. And they can’t view other drivers schemes as it’ll reset the selection they made on your driver. Also you need to select the primary scheme if you want yours to replaced with the locked scheme.
Awesome to see a shoutout for NASCAR Racing 5. I remember the day that got dumped and released since I was the first one of my friend group to discover it and actually try to get it to run on an actual XBOX. Had no capture card lying around at the time, so when my friends wanted to see it, I had to stream it over Discord using my janky ass webcam pointed at my TV. That prototype existing still blows my mind.
Dale Jr said i racing can bring racing to consoles. I think if they did do that ppl would buy the disc and pay additional fees for online gameplay just like I racing does now. Nascar needs to make this happen ASAP
NASCAR did in fact race at the old Atlanta configuration in 1997, in the spring Atlanta race. It was configured almost immediately after that race finished. Making that the only year where NASCAR raced at two different configurations of Atlanta in the same season.
I can't be the only one who's seen it, but back then there was a commercial with Clint Bowyer at the time drove the #33 Cherrios Chevy, and it had the Busch Series theme from NASCAR 06 playing in the background. I can't find it anywhere.
The red flags in eutechnyx games are actually very simple. The reason they seem unpredictable/rare is because you have to turn cautions off to see them or be in qualifying or practice where caution flags don't occur because the yellow flag always comes out before them. They are triggered when a car either gets stuck on it's side or roof or when a car dnfs/blows up the motor. In 2011 it only works for them getting stuck on the side/roof since they didn't implement dnfs into that game.
Here's a fun fact: I tried on all games, mainly inside line to '15, and never worked for me no matter how hard I tried, and yes, cautions were off and forgot to specify.
@@N4SVideos maybe it's a difference between console versions? On PC and Xbox 360 I was able to get red flags under those 2 conditions. I do know the game takes it sweet time to call a red flag when a car is stuck on it's roof or on fire. Also the game requires a laughably large amount of damage to blow motors. Easiest way I've found is to cause a massive pileup at Richmond were the AI will keep plowing into the wreck with cautions off and eventually you'll see a blown motor
@@N4SVideos best way to get one constantly is wreck a AI in qualifying session on 14 and 15 and the wrecked driver will spawn and will not move at all, if upside down you'll get infinite red flags.
really love this content, iceberg content is one my favorite type of videos and you managed to made a iceberg type of nascar games is just heaven for me lol, also i really like how you narrated the whole video it made me easier and more entertaining to watch, keep up the good content!
Think the only mistake was towards the end with the interactive pit stops, one other game had that feature, but it was a lot more frustrating. That game was Days of Thunder on the NES.
Yeah, I've just seen how bad they are, lol. Could have mentioned in the movie games topic but not in the interactive pits topic since Days of Thunder is its own thing compared to NASCAR 2000.
Interesting thing bout dirt to daytona's infineon at 58:46 is that you can see both an infineon logo at the infield of the money turn and the sears point raceway logo up on the building that was right across from the main pit area just before the start/finish line. NASCAR Thunder 2003 Infineon does not have this duo-logo btw.
Weird facts: -In the ps2 version of Nascar 09, the contingency decals for the created paint chemes still have the Nascar Nextel logo, despite the cup series being named Sprint Cup Series at the time -Nascar 09 in ps3 and Xbox 360 does have a fantasy track which is another walmart exclusive, and for some reason, just like in older nascar games, it's setting is also in Chicago (I have a feeling that the Chicago street race we have nowadays is actually someone in Nascar finally fulfilling his fantasy) -(hed)p.e. is the only band to have a fantasy car of their own, this happening in NT2003. -NT2003 has Katrina Goode, a fantasy drive whose paint scheme is a literal combination of both Ken Schrader's and Johnny Benson's schemes at the time, pretty unusual fro a fantasy driver. -The ps1 version of NT2002 has a track located in Mars, no joke.
I remember on my chromebook back in 2017 I played nascar manager so much. It was really fun, but then my chromebook stopped working, and I haven't touched the game since
A thing about pit stop mistakes, they can occur in NR2003 as well. Sometimes you'll be in the middle of the stop and your crew chief will just go "Wait, hold on. Get it together guys! We had an issue with the fuel can." or something like that. You don't typically lose a lot of time from it, maybe a few tenths. I also remember why back in NR1, the one from 1994, if you wrecked repairs actually took forever. It was not uncommon to absolutely destroy a car and get stuck on pit road for 20-25 minutes. For some reason by the time NR2003 came around they got rid of it. By that time if you absolutely destroyed a car, pit times were only around 90 seconds usually.
Here's something that could be iceberg-worthy: Thunder 2004 has a few codes that were undocumented for a while, and they're entered the same way as the other codes (typing them in the Create-A-Car menu "firstname lastname"-style *exactly* as they're spelled here): theman inblack: Unlock Dale Earnhardt new paintjob: All patterns for created cars race thebest: Unlock the Winston All-Star (normally unlocked by getting your EA Sports Bio to level 16) shoot itout: Unlock the Bud Shootout (same as above, but level 18) right track: All track/events except the All-Star and Shootout
Limp bizkit rolling That was cool they made a parody of rolling for the game. "Thunder, Thunder, " Thunder" is supposed to be "Rolling, Rolling, Rolling." Along with other lyrics to suit the game like "keep your hands on the wheel."
Unless it was just for trailer purposes. Maybe a licensing issue with the band and WWE possibly not sure. They did use rolling for the undertaker in this era .
1:36:52 love the nod to the 2002 Daytona 500 where they went to that commercial for that long and cut back to the race. Right when they go to commercial, you can juuust start to see the wreck happening.
As I enjoyed this iceberg, I was disappointed that there was no mention about EA Sports PC titles, which where completely different from console versions. Thunder 2003, 2004 were developed by future rFactor developers and were esentailly F1 games reskin.
The commentary segment triggers me on so many levels. The nostalgia from hearing Bob Jenkins do the play by play, reminds me of how far off the map these games have fallen. These companies make no attempt at making a decent game anymore.
I knew that eventually someone will make a NASCAR Gaming Iceberg. I'm considering on buying a NASCAR game for my PS2 and I need some recommendations. There's so many of them I just don't know which one...
@@lunareclipse6999 So, I recently got NASCAR 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 and played them and well, I like 2006 and 2007 cuz handling physics in both games are more stable than the handling physics in 2005. I kinda like 2008 but I didn't like the AI in the game.
@@JustGenius2001 I'd recommend the thunder games too, and well 08 is decent..not the best tbh, 06 and 07 are hella good, but I mainly prefer 07 over 06.
@@JustGenius2001 2003 is hella good, was the first game in general I've ever played. I never played 2004 till like a couple years later. I'd recommend both tbh.
I think why dave blaney is in dirt to daytona is cause papyrus (nowadays its iracing) and monster games (now under the iracing banner) had (and still do) a good relationship which each other. In fact the monster games president richard garcia and iracing ceo dave kaemmer worked together at papyrus. Monster Games used to be at around 20 people just a decade ago and are now at 35 people. Dirt to Daytona had around 90 people credited.
I honestly always found the fantasy drivers to be interesting as some of the paint schemes were pretty detailed and creative, and especially the made-up sponsors. I wonder what the process was in coming up with those sponsors. And speaking of which, I kinda wish you spoke a little more about 2009’s Kart Racing as it took fantasy drivers to the next level by giving them distinct character designs and personalities (including some female ones, which I felt was a nice change of pace). Finally, I did see some footage of the UPS truck in NASCAR 08 on PS2, I dunno if it’s real or was modded in.
1:18:45 I’m guessing the song was made by Rob Zombie? Sure sounds like him and matches his musical style. It could also explain why Powerman 5000 - Action is on Thunder 2004 because the frontman (Spider One) is the younger sibling of Rob Zombie Speaking of Thunder 2004 music, did you know that A7X - Chapter Four is censored? Normally the chorus is: ”I’ve come here to kill you, won’t leave until you’ve died. Murder born of vengeance, I closed my brother’s eyes tonight.” In thunder 2004 it’s: ”I’ve come here to tell you, won’t leave until you’ve tried. One was born of vengeance, I close my brother’s eyes tonight”
Wasn't the only bit of censored lyrics for songs in NT2004. In Three Days Grace's "I Hate Everything About You", the lyric "After every hit we take" removes the word "hit" with no replacement, thus in the game it goes "After every _____ we take".
What I don't get is "Quarter" by Fuel. The original line (as heard uncensored in NFS Underground) is: "I know I'm dead before my time" In Thunder 2004, it's changed to: "I know I'm ____ before my time" with no replacement.
Bro! I just went to go pull our my Sierra sports nascar racing for windows 95. Inside the box was all the stuff required and a sack of really dirty swag. If i was to guess, the sack dates back before 03, seeing that or before was the last time I had played and also feeling the urge to hide swag. Thinking back now, 95 to 05 was such a huge span of time. Now 05 to 15 seems like an odd and pointless time in life. Thats no nostalgia, thats a glitch in the matrix
Is it just my copy of the game or when you race at Michigan in nascar 07 every time Tony Raines ends up running out of fuel and wrecks on the backstretch
Just finally getting around this video. Appreciate the usages of my content before going on an indefinite hiatus. Edit: I've heard that techno song somewhere (Lap 3) but can't figure out where! 2nd Edit: I remember now! Driven!
I like iRacing concept, I liked nascar heat 5 also but could not find competition in heat 5 because I got kicked out of hillbilly hack rooms for being to much of a threat.
I mean, they kinda butchered it and turned it into a typical mobile game. The first game was a fun, simple game about trying to win plate races The second game, they added 4 types of currency, each unlocked in their own specific way, currency conversion, a currency shop, etc. And an overly convoluted system to unlocking new cars which requires multiple types of currency and luck based on what is offered in the shop on that specific day. And by the way, it doesnt even tell you how the convoluted unlock system works, I had to look it up on the internet. It could've been a good game if they kept the same system that the first game had which was >race >win coins >use coins to buy a new paint scheme

I bought the Inside Line DLC but the way you got it was very weird and requires the original DLC servers to still be up, which they are not) but I'm pretty sure I still have the NTG 11 DLC too. Don't know if the NASCAR 09 Demo is lost too since the video you posted in your pinned comment is linked to a "Lost Demo" video, but I'm pretty sure I have that and a NASCAR 08 demo. I did have NTG 11 on both 360 and PS3, but I honestly do not remember if I grabbed the DLC back then for PS3 since it wasn't my main console. It would be great if I do have it though.

Looking back, it now makes much more sense why Prostreet includes Infineon and Texas World Speedway.
Had Watkins Glen too, but was an "original" track
@@1531thejohnnyboyHeck, one of the Rosewood circuit layouts in Most Wanted '05 sorta resembles Watkins Glen (minus the bus stop).
The old spice car is seen on the picture of the NASCAR event ingame
So fucking proud to see the "Out of Bounds" discovery featured in an iceberg like this!! :' )
Great video man, thanks so much!!
Mustang_Nscr
They we're still using the Ford Taurus during that time. And the mustang wasn't used in nascar yet until the 2010's
Did you know that Nascar Thunder 2004 was also going to be released for the GameCube but got scrapped for unknown reasons.
Damn, good freaking iceberg video. Didn’t know much about the NASCAR games. So this was fun to watch and to listen to. Awesome vid 🔥🔥🔥
After years of waiting its finally here
One of the first NASCAR games I played was Mario Andretti Racing on the Sega Genesis. Had stock cars, sprint cars, and Indy cars. I remember 8 year old me trying to figure out how to race dirt took a bit of learning
Andretti Racing is actually the PREDECESSOR to the first NASCAR EA game
1:19:00 the song is called Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle by Limp Bizkit
12:16 Bowyer appeared in 08 in both cup and Busch but in 07 he was only in Busch
30:24 about that and if you're talking about the text on Sponsorship Censorship, forgot to edit the text.
I can't find it anywhere.
you missed the Coca-Cola NR2003 demo which included the 3 mile long coca-cola fantasy track and you also missed the Nabisco NR2002 demo disc
I had forgotten about that fantasy track until you said something! I played that demo which is what made me get NR2003!
@@N4SVideos Start a season of 30% races on NASCAR 15 without cautions on and you'll see red flags a ton at tracks like Atlanta or Dover
really love this content, iceberg content is one my favorite type of videos and you managed to made a iceberg type of nascar games is just heaven for me lol, also i really like how you narrated the whole video it made me easier and more entertaining to watch, keep up the good content!
48:00 The Mr. Clean pit crew is in Nascar 2006 as well
Me who doesn't hear mentions of roblox nascar:man darn it!-*sees NR Thunder* well nvm.
Weird facts:
-In the ps2 version of Nascar 09, the contingency decals for the created paint chemes still have the Nascar Nextel logo, despite the cup series being named Sprint Cup Series at the time
-Nascar 09 in ps3 and Xbox 360 does have a fantasy track which is another walmart exclusive, and for some reason, just like in older nascar games, it's setting is also in Chicago (I have a feeling that the Chicago street race we have nowadays is actually someone in Nascar finally fulfilling his fantasy)
-(hed)p.e. is the only band to have a fantasy car of their own, this happening in NT2003.
Just curious but where does andretti racing fit in on the nascar iceberg? As it was one of the first games i played on the psx that featured nascar.
Holy sh*t you went all out with this one. Nice job dude
You did a DAMN GOOD JOB!!!!!! I didn’t know a lot of that stuff. I watched it like 3 times. Thanks 👍
Here's something that could be iceberg-worthy: Thunder 2004 has a few codes that were undocumented for a while, and they're entered the same way as the other codes (typing them in the Create-A-Car menu "firstname lastname"-style *exactly* as they're spelled here):
theman inblack: Unlock Dale Earnhardt
new paintjob: All patterns for created cars
race thebest: Unlock the Winston All-Star (normally unlocked by getting your EA Sports Bio to level 16)
shoot itout: Unlock the Bud Shootout (same as above, but level 18)
right track: All track/events except the All-Star and Shootout
Limp bizkit rolling
That was cool they made a parody of rolling for the game.
He did nrthunder which is on roblox
1:36:52 love the nod to the 2002 Daytona 500 where they went to that commercial for that long and cut back to the race. Right when they go to commercial, you can juuust start to see the wreck happening.
This guy must me from New York. He puts an extra syllable in series
Ricky Rudd, Darrell Waltrip, or Bobby Hamilton didn't appear in NASCAR 98 which really baffled me as a child.
I had a demo disc from Xbox Magazine in 2008 that had NASCAR 09, only could drive as a Hendrick driver and only drive at Daytona and Charlotte
As I enjoyed this iceberg, I was disappointed that there was no mention about EA Sports PC titles, which where completely different from console versions. Thunder 2003, 2004 were developed by future rFactor developers and were esentailly F1 games reskin.
Not really into NASCAR but i like it and yeah you really put so much efforts in this video as you did back with midnight club iceberg video
Mr. Clean pit crew was on 06 as well. At least on the Xbox version.
Great job on the video. Lots of great information there. 👍👍👍
The commentary segment triggers me on so many levels. The nostalgia from hearing Bob Jenkins do the play by play, reminds me of how far off the map these games have fallen. These companies make no attempt at making a decent game anymore.
I remember having nascar 15 and my friend told me if i put my year before 2000 i can get the miller lite schemes. felt like a hacker
i laughed pretty hard at that last commercial clip where greg biffle bascially dies
Shame the damage wasn't like that in the game. I remember that hoods could fly off in the game
@@siltstridersftwI miss the blowover physics on that game, and the eliminator racing
One of the best well made vids on nascar gaming
10:05 This infuriates me because he said his brother did it at DODGE RACEWAY not martinsville, which is very "icebergy"
That unknown Thunder song sounds like a reinterpretation of "Rollin" by Limp Bizkit.
I knew that eventually someone will make a NASCAR Gaming Iceberg. I'm considering on buying a NASCAR game for my PS2 and I need some recommendations. There's so many of them I just don't know which one...
Without a doubt I highly recommend 2005 CFTC
@@lunareclipse6999 So, I recently got NASCAR 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 and played them and well, I like 2006 and 2007 cuz handling physics in both games are more stable than the handling physics in 2005. I kinda like 2008 but I didn't like the AI in the game.
@@JustGenius2001 I'd recommend the thunder games too, and well 08 is decent..not the best tbh, 06 and 07 are hella good, but I mainly prefer 07 over 06.
@@lunareclipse6999 I mean I thought about getting a NASCAR Thunder game but I didn't know which year. I heard that 2004 is great but others said 2003.
Very entertaining video didnt even realize it was an hour 30 mins
Not sure if you mentioned it later, but what was left of Papyrus went on to form iRacing
NASCAR gaming logic: beer sponsors are inappropriate! Btw here’s a car with a literal penis enhancement pill on it
I honestly always found the fantasy drivers to be interesting as some of the paint schemes were pretty detailed and creative, and especially the made-up sponsors.
NASCAR Racing 3 was my favorite growing up. I had a wheel and thats all 3 year old me did
1:18:45 I’m guessing the song was made by Rob Zombie? Sure sounds like him and matches his musical style. It could also explain why Powerman 5000 - Action is on Thunder 2004 because the frontman (Spider One) is the younger sibling of Rob Zombie
Speaking of Thunder 2004 music, did you know that A7X - Chapter Four is censored?
Normally the chorus is:
”I’ve come here to kill you, won’t leave until you’ve died. Murder born of vengeance, I closed my brother’s eyes tonight.”
In thunder 2004 it’s:
”I’ve come here to tell you, won’t leave until you’ve tried. One was born of vengeance, I close my brother’s eyes tonight”
Wasn't the only bit of censored lyrics for songs in NT2004. In Three Days Grace's "I Hate Everything About You", the lyric "After every hit we take" removes the word "hit" with no replacement, thus in the game it goes "After every _____ we take".
the song featured is limp biskit's song rollin but the word rolling was replaced by thunder and the song is also edited alot
@@JacobCraigoI believe my copy of 04 says hit in the lyrics in game because I've heard it
Avenged is my fav band and never knew that
What I don't get is "Quarter" by Fuel.
The original line (as heard uncensored in NFS Underground) is: "I know I'm dead before my time"
In Thunder 2004, it's changed to: "I know I'm ____ before my time" with no replacement.
Awesome video! Man tysm for that hell of a job
Allstate Speedway in NASCAR 07 is just quite literally Rockingham, just in Hawaii.
23:02 Also made a Monster Jam game and the lone American Ninja Warrior game
Anyone else remember racing under the lights at Talladega Roval?
29:31 we made it! 😎
I'm the creator of Draftmaster 2. Feels cool to be a part of the iceberg.
If you are, that game amazing. But i hate that 1979 Daytona challenge.
A Mr. Clean Pit crew was also in NASCAR 06.
It only 5 business years but it’s finally here! Time to grab the popcorn it seems
Jeremy Mayfield was what wrestling fans call a midcarder, EA was never gonna put him on the cover lol
I was hoping to see a small mention of Arca Sim Racing, I mean Arca's owned by NASCAR now... right?
Is it just my copy of the game or when you race at Michigan in nascar 07 every time Tony Raines ends up running out of fuel and wrecks on the backstretch
Hey it’s me 28:46
Thanks for crediting my clip.
2:33 Real racing three, has NASCAR in it so technically a NASCARD. game: Am I a joke to you?
I had no clue about the Walmart NoCollision cheat so I had to test it and it works but you technically still make contact .
Also on NTG2011, I remember that hoods can fly off in before updating the game. They would fly into the windshield then pop off into the air
About Drivers' Games: dunno if you already know but you forgot about Tony Stewart's All American Racing
Was focused on drivers who were active at the time that had their games that forgot about Tony's games, and yes, I do know about them.
Just finally getting around this video. Appreciate the usages of my content before going on an indefinite hiatus.
Edit: I've heard that techno song somewhere (Lap 3) but can't figure out where!
2nd Edit: I remember now! Driven!
The way you say games through out the whole video got me fucked up the whole time I’m watching it😂😂
33:24 my favorite ps2 nascar game is nascar thunder 2004 because my favorite part about that game it has the announcer for mrn radio
Thunder 2003 was actually the first. Thunder 2004 is just a more depressing version of 2003.
34:15 when you try to reach the word limit on your essay
at 1:15:00 or so, there is is a program called flashpoint for those games.
Game is in flashpoint, along with other nascar games.
I like iRacing concept, I liked nascar heat 5 also but could not find competition in heat 5 because I got kicked out of hillbilly hack rooms for being to much of a threat.
Finally, you are back again!
wow. mad props for your work and research
This is what oh dear is: Giant person walking.
29:29 Stock Car Racing is BALLIN
29:31 I will not stand for draftmasters slander.
I mean, they kinda butchered it and turned it into a typical mobile game.
The first game was a fun, simple game about trying to win plate races
The second game, they added 4 types of currency, each unlocked in their own specific way, currency conversion, a currency shop, etc. And an overly convoluted system to unlocking new cars which requires multiple types of currency and luck based on what is offered in the shop on that specific day. And by the way, it doesnt even tell you how the convoluted unlock system works, I had to look it up on the internet.
It could've been a good game if they kept the same system that the first game had which was
>race
>win coins
>use coins to buy a new paint scheme
What song are you using for the background music? It sounds like a Gran Turismo song I've been looking for for months.

1:21:02 Wait, you're really telling me that's lost too? I thought that was out there already. I knew Inside Line and newer for 360 and PS3 are lost (and sadly I don't have those either. IDK, I don't keep up with this stuff, I just get recommended videos from y'all and post what I have when I find out it's lost lol
Also I might have the PS3 version of the NTG 11 DLC this time. I did have NTG 11 on both 360 and PS3, but I honestly do not remember if I grabbed the DLC back then for PS3 since it wasn't my main console. It would be great if I do have it though.
