I would love to see more NPC AI integrations. They could all interact with each other. Or you can assign the villagers “jobs”. Even if it’s just a visual thing, I’d be happy. For instance; you assign the job Farmer to a villager, then they’ll put on a farmer outfit and “tend” the fields during the day. Or you assign Guard to a villager and they’ll put on a guard style uniform and patrol your base.
I remember when I first came upon Umber Hallow I was absolutely convinced and terrified there was something humungous and awful down there and I still think adding something large to some of the shroud areas that just looms up out of the mist at you would be sick. Go full Stephen King with it.
really hoping the 2024 aim for "water" hasnt just become a biome. water being around the world adds so much for me. also with weather events, they could totally do a craggy biome where lightning strikes all over, with a big bird boss for the area that calls storms. side note about weapons: unarmed fist weps. Feel like this has been teased with the Begone! perk and the armor set that increases unarmed damage.
Water Biome is something I would like to see in like islands or Ancient Water Ruins and just think of all of the scary wildlife they could do if it's underwater or something on the lines of blackfathom deeps from world of warcraft.
I am definitely looking forward to the weapon glamour & armor dyeing as well as the editable signs. As for the base raids, I have somewhat anticipated those: My main base is built in a fairly defendable area (although only the compound Cade & Oswald live in as well as the palace are actually fortified) and my secondary main base is both in a very easily defended narrow ridge line in the mountains, but I am also building fortified gates at the only two sides that aren't on vertical cliffs, and said fortifications have functional arrow slits & such.
I'm really looking forward to the armor and character customizations. Some kind of fun dye system. Also pet naming and editable signs. And would love it if we could change the colors of the magic chests. Imagine color coded loot rooms!
A swinging pendulum blade, puzzle blocks that crumble as you walk over them or climb up them. The in weapon gems that do different things: WoW Burning Crusade and WotLK. Feels like water biome, they'll just switch the shroud/cold timer for air; although we got timers for shroud and cold going at the same time, so. The mountain biome HH; everything in Albaneve lights you on fire, so I'm expecting that HH to light me on fire every chance it gets. Did I miss labels for chests? or that isn't a thing, yet? Thanks for the video, and the speculation; lots to look forward to.
Conan Exiles has base raids and it was completely redone where you can basically just never do them since its triggered by an item. But it has an incentive to do them for better thrals and loot. Transmog would literally be the same way armor looks. Transmog is the common word for that. Fashion/Glamour. There's a sky island in this update you can see floating but can't actually get to it. It's in the NW if you look from the Cinder Vault.
I would love to see A tool that can stop crop growth. It's nice to stop trees or bushes at different stages of their development. More hidden dungeons/crypts. More underground cities.
I'm still really hoping for a few more build "template" pieces in the building tool. For example having a single line diagonal piece, I dunno, 4 blocks long for roofing blocks would help speed up the monotony of...build 1 block, then one over from it, then 1 up, then remove that first one over, and rinse and repeat 2000 times until your castle roof is sloped properly.
Valheim base raids are annoying...until you get to the flying bugs (I can't remember their names off hand) and then they become terrifying. And the troll raids? We surround our bases with massive fences and ballistas. But they do add to the immediacy of the game. I'm want to make a waterfall, so I hope we get water as a terrain in Enshrouded, like we do ice. Also...I'd really love to be able to expand the size of each flame altar more, so I don't have to use so many of them to create a village. Either that or create a portal that doesn't allow building, but just Fast Travel.
Portal Knights from Keen is one of my all time favorites! The way they improved upon that is the reason I picked up Enshrouded. Both are amazing and both worth every penny :)
Hard mode should have hot and cold with. You should be able to warm yourself up in the mountains inside a house and the heat should do damage like ark survival evolved ect. Add rare enchantments to armor. I really wish there was battle mounts as well. Pls put base raids in soon and have bots scale like Skyrim
About game's future and comparing it to MC: in terms of Creativity and Possibilities it is already far surpassed it, however what made MC immortal was not Creative mode but modding. If they will want the game be immortalized they will need to provide dev tools or skript extender so modders can add more custom content.
I know I have seen gems being able to be added to weapons in a game to add benefits before. It was probably in World of Warcraft or Lineage 2 but it has been around before.
I feel there's a lack of reason to keep playing. There needs to be bigger better bosses and a better associated storyline that spawns a desire to keep playing. The story of letters etc written by dead people just doesn't have the same effect. Way too soon you just don't feel threatened because combat isn't great and nothing threatens you.
Monster Hunter World have the gem system in armor and weapon, if they implement this, it may further the customization of equipment and maybe ability to rename it? (Make it unable to be gifted once customized, because its a player scam waiting to happen) and wishing it will be visible on the item For Raid, maybe make it a server option instead of just an island if that's what their planning, its a huge map to just have a specific area to PvE, I want my base to have purpose than just be aesthetics & it adds to the lore maybe like the shroud trying to spread further or the scavengers actually on the act of occupying areas, they're all over the place taken over settlements, hopefully with it be defence furnitures or villagers able to fight Wishing for water biome to be filled with water based creature which some we can bring back to base, and not just an empty flooded wasteland Hope they can fix the bats...those are helicopter sound
a roadmap. Very motivating, but personally very disappointed that creative mode will only be available in 2026. For those who like to build or for content creators, having to wait 1 year is very sad.
ice snake? ... na, but i could see hallowed dragon youngling. a draco lich if you please, shooting the ice damage that hallowed wizards have been using.
These games never make good water content. Would love e underwater ruins, and temples. Old tombs, really cool stuff. Allow people to make a breathing water potion and spell.
My thought is the “base raid island” is either related to water biome or a area you select as an “island” like a flame alter Enchanting weapons. I think gives customization to weapons like the ones you find. Water biome no way it’s lvl 25 there is already a lvl 25 zone and super easy to be over leveled for the mountains. It’s going to be north west.. lore mentioned an area
Which Roadmap feature are you most excited for?
Is it okay if i say Pratdog and Pratcat?
I feel like the "more blocks and props" is one of those things we will get a little in each update throughout the year.
Every Bingo board needs one free space 😛

Yeah hopefully they expand on the townsfolk system in the future, that would be great
Im pretty new to enshrouded but I gotta say you can clearly tell that these devs love their community and actually care

A color coded loot room has me in a fit. I would never leave and just organize for the rest of my play time 😂
I screamed with excitement when i read this roadmap! These devs are insane. I couldn't even pick a favourite thing i'm excited for!

Been waiting for the roadmap breakdown and theorizing!

I was thinking ice snake, also a shroud octopus for the water biom.

Portal Knights was a good time!

17:35 you're correct, it's been in diablo since d2! Gemming weapons and armor for different effects. If they steal the idea, it should work well!
Transmog is just cosmetic like in wow not moving stats
Really looking forward to being able to name my storage area.

I think it would be amazing to get a spear or some kind of melee weapon with reach.
weapon gems aren't for looks, its probably for stats, like the weapon slots in PoE
Each area has a level range so there to should the mobs in that area that attack the bases
I know I have seen gems being able to be added to weapons in a game to add benefits before. It was probably in World of Warcraft or Lineage 2 but it has been around before.

Also building in the sky ... Yeah gravity in this game is borked.
Please make a never see dance animation button my conscience can't handle it
Water Biome = shoreline jungle with several islands?
They need to make more mechanic based combat like the dragon fight obv they prob already know this ofc just in case though they somehow see this
I think I'm the only "people" asking for spears, hahah. But yes. I would like that. Very much....
Definitely had you in mind 😂
I want more puzzles! Like in Zelda Breath of the Wild..
Just disappointed that greatswords haven't been added yet, hopefully they add them soon.
Gotta be next, surely?
Valheim - Early Access in February 2, 2021
Bosses - 7
Enshouded - Early Access in January 24, 2024
Bosses - 7 or ????
No base raids please I'm all good with repairing my hardwork took me like 18 hours to build my main base
Make it an option. Everything else is
I would love to see cosmetics for weapons, there are amazing looking weapons that have horrible effects for my build
Hopefully they’ll add it soon :)
I think enshrouded is the most perfect game ever!
Free updates, wow almost like I paid for the game and the devs care about my experience and the future of the game. (stares at EA)
Lighting strikes not thunder 😂!
new weapon whip
i want flash;ight
These games never make good water content. Would love e underwater ruins, and temples. Old tombs, really cool stuff. Allow people to make a breathing water potion and spell.
PratCat is funny.
Crossbows
"Valheim isn't for the cozy gamer but this is" what are you even waffling on about mate, absolute nonsense
You can literally pacify enemies and avoid combat. Completely different games
The shroud needs to move and threaten. Eat up your base and need to be defended against.
Out of all the dances of course they give us the gayest one they could possibly find
That’s such a weird take man, it’s a dance. Don’t use it and stop whining.
Dragon raids on the floating islands? Maybe?
This game needs optimised. Plays like ass on a high end pc
You sure it’s high end?
My thought is the “base raid island” is either related to water biome or a area you select as an “island” like a flame alter
Enchanting weapons. I think gives customization to weapons like the ones you find.
