Because when it comes to the facial features, Dean is the Winchester heir meanwhile his whole personality and mentality set up is Campbell to its core and the opposite goes with Sam. Sam is the Campbell heir when it's about physique and appearance meanwhile the personality and mentality he's the Winchester heir
One of the biggest group of wasted potential ever for Supernatural. Literal family members for the Winchesters on their mother's side and they all dip out after this season lol.
@@KKelly-ng1ni I thought it presented an interesting conundrum for the brothers. Having relatives who were hunters as well. How that would affect the Winchesters' storyline. But then they just all get killed off. Same thing with Adam being brought in as just a plot device in season 4 and 5.
I could rewatch the part where Samuel appears again and again until I die. Imo, it's the most pefect execution of a musical swell in the entire show. I'd kill to find that slightly altered variation of Americana somewhere, but it doesn't seem to exist as its own track...
I've been wondering... Sam had no soul here. How did the Djinn poison work on him? I mean, he didn't have fear so could he have 'worst nightmares'? Or was he just trapped in what his mind would classify as nightmare-ish?
So did Crowley/Cas bring back the rest of the Campbells too? Bc they looked at their mom’s entire family tree and found out Azazel had killed them all. Never really understood this part of the storyline
I thought it's too weird how they named Dean after grandmother. Like, if the second child were a girl they'd have to name her Samantha after grandfather. Just seemed like a strange thought process
Yeah, how come they didn't name Dean after John's father, or mother? Why both boys were named after Mary's parents? And if we were to assume that's because John though his father ditched him, he still had his mother. Why not name Dean after John's mother? Then again, I don't know what's the male version of Millie. Miles perhaps, like they changed Dean came from Deanna?
What don't understand how did Crowdley who is the King of Hell got power to reach up from heaven and get Samuel back?. It was Castriel who got Sam out of the cage but coundn't get his soul with the body.
I think it's later on implied that Samuel was in Hell. And was actually resurrected by Crowley. There's a flashback later on in the season where it shows Crowley and Castiel getting into kahoots with each other to find purgatory, and Crowley tells Castiel that there is a big bald patriarch that *he* would be willing to take off the bench.
I don’t think they ever touched on this, but was Parker Lewis really their cousin possessed or was he just some random possessed bastard sent to moonlight as a Campbell to help Samuel with his fuckery????
The Campbell's looked at Dean and deemed him 'too pretty'. Truth is, he's the most ruthless hunter on the show.

If I remember correctly, he remembers his fears, and that they'd usually scare him, he just doesn't feel it anymore
